After scrolling through whats available on yt as modern day boogie woogie musicians, I'm convinced, only Americans have that hip shakin feel for this music. This woman blows away the subway players, the Swiss woman and any others.
I heard that before rock and then never heard it again until the 2020’s. It’s still great! We had a piano and one of my sisters boy friends came over and started playing boogie woogie and blew me away. This was about 1950 .
This must have felt so fresh and exciting back then. There's a boogie woogie revival happening on UA-cam led by Brendan Kavanagh, whose channel I'm sure has led countless young pianists to take up boogie woogie playing. There's lots of related boogie woogie channels now run by both young pianists and older ones who I very much suspect have had their popularity enhanced due to Brendan's channel exposing people to this style of music. I personally started taking a lot more interest in playing blues guitar because of the boogie woogie I've been exposed to on UA-cam.
Don't know why, but I don't care much for piano, but could listen to boogie woogie 24/7. Damn woman, you are a boogie woogie chile!!!!!!!!! The whole group rocks!!!

He was phenomenal! Blew us away! We of course went and bought him a keyboard...he was awesome on the sax too! That was the best band I ever played in...we stayed very busy too! 😁👍
You should try out Johan Blohm then. He is not as wild, but he is widely held to be one of the best, if not THE best Boogie Woogie players in the world.

Incredible! My fingers and wrists were sore just watching her! How she's able to sustain such intensity for 8.5 non-stop minutes is beyond me, but boy can she play! Ya' know, I just said this but after several minutes of her jamming - I gotta say it again - Just remarkable! So many different riffs and scales fired off together at a blistering pace. Great job! It was crazy listening to her guitarist trying to keep up!
