I just got one of these a few days ago, and I've been trying to get it to work to control the volume sliders in the AURA plugin for the Virus Ti2. I got it to work with USB Midi, but something seems strange, the faders work but the encoders do not...I wonder what I'm doing wrong? Any ideas?
That is very strange behavior indeed. Never heard of that. You should email their support. He's very nice might take a day or two to respond depending on where you're located. But that's your best bet because I have never heard of an issue like that. :( Sorry I can't be more helpful!
how does one save setting though (I checked the manual and can't find anything on this). I thought it saved automatically but after making all my edits to fader parameters, I powered it up this morning and everything is gone... any advice welcomed!
It really should save....however when you plug it in it will default to group 1 which means if you were making changes on group 2 you wont be able to notice those changes until you switch groups. Double check that you are on the correct session and group that you were originally on when you set your settings. This has given me a scare before as well but navigating to the correct session and group will bring up the settings you adjusted.
No not that i know of. To my knowledge you can only send one CC number from the faderfox, however you might be able to set something up in your DAW that would mimic the controlled element. Just depends on your use case.
Hey! The mapping of the setup actually varies from DAW to DAW, but in Ableton you would simply: 1. Enter Midi Mode 2. Click on the button you would like to map 3. Turn or press the appropriate button on your controller Hope this helps!

Unfortunately not yet! Honestly I held off on upgrading to 12 for this reason among others, I will keep you posted if I hear anything!
