Proof that the case can revamp old hardware. I'm running. Just upgraded my case. In the future i'm upgrading mobo/CPU/Ram. Which will probably leave me set for a good while. I7-7700k MSI Tomahawk Arctic H270 Mobo 16 GB 3000 mhz 3060 12gb (originally had 1060 3gb) A 6 year old HDD from WD 4 year old Seagate HDD. 6 Year old Toshiba SSD with all of my windows files. I had a Phantom 240 case by NZXT, Which isn't made anymore. I bought my PC prebuilt from ibuypower. Last year I upgraded my PSU from non modular to a Corsair RM850 as well as Corsair QL120 Fans with Commander pro. 2 weeks ago, I upgraded my case from the phantom 240 to a Corsair 4000D Airflow. Went from 1 intake and 3 exhaust fans to 3 intake and 3 exhaust fans. My original setup I had a 120 AIO push pull at the rear and an exhaust fan up top. New setup, 3 Intakes in the front, 1 Exhaust fan in the back. And a Corsair H100i Elite Capellix 240 AIO exhausting from the top. I'm absolutely in love with this case, I have a lot of room to work and easy disassembly to do deep cleans. The side glass panel is neat The only cables that are actually visible is the 24 pin power and GPU power. Everything else is hidden by my GPU or AIO. If you look closely you'll see the front panel connectors, and USB connections. The case is super easy to take the panels off. I can have all the dust filters off, cleaned, and put back on in 5 minutes.
I love your videos, especially the ones that you clean your PC with. In addition to having good editing, image and audio, you clean every corner of the cabinet. A direct hug from Brazil.
Antec 900 is a good old case to mod. I cut nice holes to run cables behind the Mobo tray and cut a circle on the bottom to flip the PSU over. It's a heavy duty case with good air flow, though the weird fan cages are annoying.
love the look tbh! the copper of the eye catching cooler combined with the classy (as opposed to shouty) green and blue highlights really work with the dark, minimalistic theme somehow :)
That's an Antec 900 case, I still got my Antec 1200 V3 which I bought when I was 15 and now I'm 25 and I still use it to this day, I've upgraded my system from i5 2500k / Gtx 460 SLI to i5 6600k / GTX 970 to gtx 1070 / ryzen 7 3700x and the latest installment is a Asus rog strix rtx 3080 oc and everything fits perfectly in this fulltower to this day, only thing I had to do was remove the harddrive rack in the middle to squeeze the 3080 in there. and all the fans with the controllers on the case still works :) Nice to see someone else with an old gem.
Zalman CNPS 9500! I put that cooler in my first computer build in 2005, still operational with 1155 adapter in my 2012 build! It flexed my motherboard originally, fortunately the 2012 has a built in fan support
I got that very cleaner, and you can even get a discount with this code: OPOLAR20 It's really nice, lots of battery life, and easy to use, but it does not have as high of a maximum pressure as canned air, so it may not be as good at removing tougher to blow out dust, but it can maintain a high amount of airflow for much longer duration. I hope Opolar adds a smaller tipped nozzle to increase the amount of pressure possible.
The original case dating back to when Antec was fighting for the Full Tower crown a decade ago... reminds me of the last gaming rig my Dad built himself in one of those.
Extremely familiar with that hardware! The 780i SLI mobo, Zalman CNPS copper cooler, Antec 900 case, LOL all used in numerous builds for clientele back in 2007... Back when the most expensive consumer GPU was $600 :/
Kid playing in the water = wholesome content. As far as that spider goes, I'm not sure what the species is, but I have seen quite a few specimens which look like this one. They seem to particularly love garages and storage units, and will nest in places like boxes, storage totes, and the like. They grow to be fairly large with long legs, and that one is significantly smashed and shriveled. They are solitary and will eat each other, but also beneficial because they eat cockroaches and similar bugs. They are not very aggressive toward humans, preferring to run and hide when encountered. I'm sure an arachnologist could identify them (being quite common) although that particular body was possibly too smashed. It's not surprising that it was in a computer case, especially if it spent any amount of time in a garage. *EDIT* some people commented below and pointed out some kinds of spiders molt, and gave a possible identification. So I guess I am wrong about the eating each other thing - I had interpreted dried carcasses in webs as being spiders that had been eaten. They might eat each other or not - pretty common among spiders - but I was ignorant of the molting. I think they are probably right in calling it a southern house spider, judging by the pictures I have seen.
Can we all just stop for a moment to marvel at the spider’s engineering abilities? Those cobwebs didn’t even want to move despite being blasted with compressed air.
Loved! Amazing soundtrack! Amazing oldschool Zalman and loved your son on the screen! =) So much love from Brazil!! PS: Be Quiet! Come to Brazil PLEASE!
When cleaning copper or chrome with q tips you should try using mothers polish. Its in the auto section in most stores. Wipe on, whipe off shine. Great stuff.
Spider nests...oh joy! I had a customer drop off a live roach hotel 1 time. They'd killed his PSU. I did a full clean on it after we bagged it for about 4 days with a lot roach bait inside. We still ended up with roaches in our shop for a week. Nice job on the cleaning of all of those parts!
I have this old case! It's my home-built NAS box. Antec Nine Hundred. I love it. Great airflow with that 200mm fan on top. I'm never getting rid of it. LOL
Ima gonna give you a pro tip for cleaning a system especially fans and hard do reach areas. Makeup Brushes.... their main function is to PICK UP DUST and apply it to faces. Great for PC cleaning!!
Man... this build is packed with nostalgia. And that Threadripper sized coldplate on that GPU. Also, they still sell that Zalman cooler, the CNPS 9500. There's a PWM version that's much quieter.
and there's the exact antec case. figured you were bound to come across one, lol. I have this one and another model made about the same time but a lot more basic. in the former's case, it had not been cleaned in 8 years.. that was a fun clean lol... I just can't let go of either, even though they weigh a ton fully loaded. but yeah, cleaning is a must with these.
The old case looks kinda awesome. With some 5.25 120mm fan mounts, a couple budget fans with filters as intake and a noctua as exhaust, i see nothing wrong with it
I put a Straight Power 11 into my new build late last year, and it kept causing it to crash until it fully died one day. I had the 650W version, which should have been able to handle my 3700X and 3070. Replaced it with a corsair psu, and haven't had an issue since.
ye, good rule of thumb, clean your pc thoroughly once a year, half a year if you have 1-3 cats/dogs, and once ever 3-4 months if you're a smoker too, and if you live in a dusty area, atleast have a routine of taking a vacuum to the pc once every month or so for a light cleaning
Wow! Funny, I still have that exact case for my 2nd computer that I have now relegated to streaming in my home theater setup. At one time I had the same Zalman cooler installed but changed it to a small AIO to reduce the noise. I have not cleaned it out in several years. Spiders! Now I am afraid to.

MSI Tomahawk Arctic H270 Mobo
16 GB 3000 mhz
3060 12gb (originally had 1060 3gb)
A 6 year old HDD from WD
4 year old Seagate HDD.
Best cleaning YT'er so far. Love em episodes!
Great Job on the cleaning Greg, nice to see some older stuff that is still usable today cleaned up and looking all shiny and new!
I remember my old Zalman cpu cooler and Nvidia Nforce chipset on my Asus motherboard. This was a great build to see. Love this build 🥰🥰🤯
Zalman CNPS 9500! I put that cooler in my first computer build in 2005, still operational with 1155 adapter in my 2012 build! It flexed my motherboard originally, fortunately the 2012 has a built in fan support
Great to see some sponsors helping with some basic upgrades while Greg cleans up these dirty pc's. Looking forward to future episodes.
Really awesome seeing that your sponsors are catching on to this series. Keep up the clean work!!
Cars, nice. Kid, cute. Upgrade, cool. Video, pleasing. 11/10 will watch the next one.
Electric Duster has been MVP in so many of these videos
For real!
I got that very cleaner, and you can even get a discount with this code: OPOLAR20
It's really nice, lots of battery life, and easy to use, but it does not have as high of a maximum pressure as canned air, so it may not be as good at removing tougher to blow out dust, but it can maintain a high amount of airflow for much longer duration.
I hope Opolar adds a smaller tipped nozzle to increase the amount of pressure possible.
The original case dating back to when Antec was fighting for the Full Tower crown a decade ago... reminds me of the last gaming rig my Dad built himself in one of those.
Just took my last final exam today, it’s a Friday, Greg uploaded a PCDC video. Doesn’t get much better than this.
Those cobwebs didn’t even want to move despite being blasted with compressed air.
the region where u live looks deep cleaned , i liked it so much
I actually just upgraded to a new rig and my old one had this case. Really cool to see it in a video!
Now that's what deep-cleaning looks like damn! Respect! Nice one.
13:02 you don't need to swap the power supply, there is an 8 pin extension you can buy. It's very cheap.
Love that crazy heatsink in the northbridge.
Ok that Porsche and Ferrari at the back took my heart 🤩💓
That case is great. PC getting a bit hot? Swap to the mesh panels. Winter is coming? Swap to the closed panels for a radiator that plays games.
I find the music with the cleaning segments highly satisfying.
My favourite series is here
Man... this build is packed with nostalgia. And that Threadripper sized coldplate on that GPU. Also, they still sell that Zalman cooler, the CNPS 9500. There's a PWM version that's much quieter.
I know these videos are sponsored by Be Quiet! but it's just so weird to see such huge upgrades for older hardware lol Great video Greg!
and there's the exact antec case. figured you were bound to come across one, lol.
Strangely addicted to these type of vids, great work!
I love that 900 Antec I still use them...... your cleaner series made me do it to mine had it posted on your discord before and after photos
Awesome video of course, and this music is badass!
