I already know you know that you're filling that perfect niche community of dnb + chill 90s/2000s downtempo lovers. Please do not stop releasing tutorials like these, they are immense for us beginners.
I bought a used Roland JV 1080 a couple of days ago. It is such a fantastic synth, especially for Pads and Textures. I also love your videos, keep it up! ^^
4:00 I think it’s perfectly fine to use the Triton for a track with a vibe like this-especially if you don’t want to dole out the cash/have the space for a vintage synth. The Triton takes a lot of its DNA from the Korg Trinity anyways which came out in 1995, but also shares the same waveforms and a similar synth engine.
Yea! Absolutely has that 90s Korg lineage dripping within it. IMO, the last great Korg workstation. Think it's a much better pick over the M1 VST even.
I'm gonna have to try that Triton Trombone sound. I love the old fighting game soundtracks that used TONS of these rompler horns (MvC2 and Street Fighter 3rd Strike have them all over the place) but could never quite get mine sounding as nice as that. I'm gonna give it another shot with the extra delay.
Yes! Rompler bread & butter sounds are all over those old game soundtracks. XV-5080 and any of the Roland Sound Canvas modules have these sounds as well
Have you tried the tr16wx plugin? Seems like it's be perfect for the sounds you're after. I use it to play back 90s sample cds without having a hardware sampler
Perfect videos. I've just discovered your channel and you've got yourself a new subscriber. I love 90s smooth jazz, jungle, etc. And I recently picked up a Korg Triton hardware synth from a second hand store. This thing is pure 90s! Your tips and tricks for making songs will help me a ton in my own music creations. Thank you for these videos!
Thanks so much mate. Stoked you grabbed a physical Triton! It's the grand daddy of 90s romplers, will be able to tackle all those genres you listed. Have fun!
really good video explaining how to make this ive always wondered how just didnt know what sounds to use but im wondering where you get your fx pack from
Nice! Thanks for making this! What are those two plugins that appear at around 13:45 on the right side of the screen? The one at the bottom seems to be some compressor that I haven't seen before.

Congrats . You made loading screen music. Here is a cookie.
That's a narrow way of looking at it, he's democratizating the ability for anyone to make loading music.
Watch out for your kidneys with all that salt.
