As much as I hate people being impatient in my vicinity while I drive, Tugg's statements of 1.) don't drive slowly in the passing lane, 2.) don't slow to a crawl when people aren't expecting it and it isn't what you're supposed to do, and 3.) don't make an unsafe stop because a light turns yellow when the whole point of the yellow light is to stop if you can safely do so and if the light will turn red before you get through are very reasonable. Obvious I don't agree with the proposed retaliations, but those were pretty clearly hyperbolic ways of expressing his frustration rather than legitimate suggestions. This video is a good reminder that no matter how clear it is that something is a joke/satire/facetious, someone will take it seriously.

As a Masshole myself, a lot of the people who want *you* to be patient are themselves entitled to assuming people have to respect the way they do things. Could you be more patient? Sure. Could they move faster? Also sure. Respecting someone else's driving methods, at least around here, is not something you can expect, nor can you expect someone to respect *your* driving methods.
It's not a matter of respect, it's a matter of safety. Not giving room for braking and speeding, increases the risk of crashing and how fatal those crashes can be. The fatality rate of driving suggests the average driver needs to drive safer, which means giving room and driving slower, which these days means driving the speed limit.

What freaked me out about Michigan drivers is how everyone just stops as CLOSE to the mf in front of them as possible. Just going 40 until ur like 3 inches from the other dude's back bumper and that's when you slam the brakes. Scared me shitless every time. I'm from Topeka.
@nicki0kaye exactly Had this happen yesterday. Woman and daughter chatting away, women barely was looking at the road and slammed on the breaks when she was super close to me

As a Texas driver- I agree with most things you said in the traffic video. When I drive to different states I just look for a local license plate and follow how they drive.
I moved to Mass a few years ago from Ohio and yeah, the driving is wild here. You can't assume the other person is paying attention or doesn't actively have a death wish. They race fire trucks past the scene of accidents with state troopers present. And they honked at me and flipped me off for slowing down and pulling over. So yeah, it's a culture difference. LOL! But the people I've met are the same as anywhere else and I'm happier here than I was in Ohio because it was Ohio. Yuck. Honestly, my only regret is not moving here sooner.

You're absolutely not wrong for your driving rules!!! You know, once, when I was pregnant with my youngest, I was being followed by someone who had tried to mug me at a gas station and I tried to run from him, using traffic to get home to safety, and some old, controlling a****le decided that I was going too fast and got in my way and slowed down. Luckily, I knew how to work the roads where I was and weaved through traffic enough to lose the mugger/whatever-else-it -could-have-been and got home after losing him. That controlling piece of s**t could have gotten me kidnapped, mugged, or murdered because he wanted me to go his pace. What a piece of sh**. You never know what other people are going through.
I think what he mentioned about adapting to the driving culture of the place you are going to is correct. For example in UAE the fine for running a red light is thousands of dirhams, so a lot of drivers will stop at the yellow light but again all of us know that , so we are prepared to stop with them 😀
No. Follow the laws or sell your car. Don’t just make shit up. Every single aspect of driving is clearly defined in your state’s DMV handbook. Most places, if you can stop at a yellow light, you are required to stop at a yellow light. Yellow doesn’t mean slam on the gas.
@@thehousecat93 i agree in most situations however if you have to slam on the breaks because you’re in the process of hitting an intersection and you have people behind you that will crash into you, yeah I’m not slamming on my breaks

Hey, Ohioan here. Your little state is first on our invasion list, tug boy.
“Ohioan” is wild
@@flibflop8219 lets be real, Ohio it's self is wild.
@@flibflop8219That's the proper terminology for some who's come from Ohio.
If Ohio could just not that would be great
As a Michigander I find it odd you shitbags will hesitate to take us first.
5:03 When you scrolled down at the start of the hotel video's comments, I could see a HUGE paragraph on the screen and I knew someone had a breakdown at whatever you said, and I was right.
I absolutely hate when someone is going 30+ under in a 50-60mph one lane double line road. On a clear day. No rain or snow.
Also, you’re adorable
“I can tell your parents never beat you” is the silliest insult i’ve ever heard 😭
like saying that proves they beat the commenter too much, now he lurks on ifunny and cries at random peoples opinions on the internet that have 0 effect on him
14:21 I was literally on my bed crying laughing so hard! ❤
@@Shirley_Seriousfuck all that she said nobody’s home so either drive faster or get ran thy fuck over
Im sorry but the “schizophrenic soliloquy” comment KILLED me omg 😭
i REALLY love your videos, you’ve been my favorite youtuber for SO long, but today i got honked at as a student driver (still with my permit) and it almost made me cry. i wasn’t even going slow, i was stopped at a right turn on red that i wasn’t ready for. i hope you’re nicer to student drivers than it seems :(
You have to respect someone for the comment or criticism to be taken with any seriousness. Amen to that.
My kid encountered a bully today and I was so angry I couldn’t sleep. You’re videos had me laughing my ass off and I felt better. Crazy thing, I think I see the world the exact same way you do, or at least in accordance with your persona! Thank You!
On the driving stuff, you’d hate Michigan. Here, people either drive super fast or super slow. Nothing in between.
What freaked me out about Michigan drivers is how everyone just stops as CLOSE to the mf in front of them as possible. Just going 40 until ur like 3 inches from the other dude's back bumper and that's when you slam the brakes. Scared me shitless every time. I'm from Topeka.
I'm from Michigan and I know it's awful here. It's probably one of the worst places to drive ever
@nicki0kaye exactly
Had this happen yesterday. Woman and daughter chatting away, women barely was looking at the road and slammed on the breaks when she was super close to me
From Michigan too, and not only the drivers, but the weather gets real bad as well. It's either your crazy cousin Ricky driving, or your Grandma driving who is also crazy.
@@Br0ken1nside. Yes, the weather just makes the bad driving even worse. On top of that, there are SO MANY OLD PEOPLE DRIVING. It sucks cause they suck at driving making even more problems
15:31 “Do you think other states are gonna invade other states soon”. He said that and I lit up with happiness cause it made me immediately think of Civil War not the actual war but the movie coming out.
The classical music is iconic. I do associate it with your videos and it adds a lot to the comedy and quality of the video. Keep thriving man, you’re a comedic genius
easily one of my favorite youtubers. homeboy’s not afraid to speak his mind and that’s commendable. keep on tuggin’ tucker!
The people defending drug use like there’s not millions of stories of people either dying or having shitty lives as a result of drug use. Real geniuses there.
lol but drugs make brain go brrrrr
Sounds like they need to watch Requiem For A Dream
9:39 😂 I’m sorry but his “Not a real job” probably makes him enough 💸 that your “Real Job” won’t even look like anything😂
This is peak Tugg. Him ranting about random shit on the internet, then other random people getting mad about his goofy little rants, and then him calling them out for ranting about his rants. Proud moment to be a Tugglet
A huge amount of commenters here have tloz pfps lol
"I've been beat up several times, I know how to protect all the weak bits" bro idk if I should cry or laugh 😂😭🤣
"why do I have to be patient when you are slow" is the best way to express the adhd rage I ever heard
Stay humble king keep on that fitness journey 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

As a Texas driver- I agree with most things you said in the traffic video. When I drive to different states I just look for a local license plate and follow how they drive.
The look of pure glee and joy when you talk about the mean comments people leave literally made my night. You’re my favorite type of person.
Your funny.
Your entertaining.
Your worth the subs and fanbase that you have.
You're cat deserves more screentime.
So take THAT, Editor Tugg!

As a Massachusetts life long resident. If they flipped you off for pulling over for an emergency vehicle thats wild even by our state standards lol.
@@FFmaxxx That's what my coworkers said too. I've been driving for over 20 years and that was one of the craziest events I've witnessed.
In Oklahoma you get *insanely* fined if you don't pull over, state driving differences are wild-
@bennet3240 you're supposed to get find in every state. Just no cops around to do it alot of the times
@FFmaxxx Well yeah but I'm terrified of being fined so it's crazy to me that people just wouldn't follow the freaking law-
you totally need to do more of these videos. This was one of your best videos! Hilarious thank you!
I agree! Abroad in Japan has some great "hate mail" videos, too- they crack me up every time. ua-cam.com/video/fvQLMLyAbjs/v-deo.htmlsi=qJzAskgn-rMwlUdV and ua-cam.com/video/HLzKqyIz2M8/v-deo.htmlsi=GoSYfG5syTvNygyj are my faves.

I also think you are psychotic, but not because of your takes, it's just your general demeanor. Great video as always!
I bet being called a "Troglodyte" is a 17th century insult
Genx
I do drugs and wear my pajamas outside and I think YOU'RE hilarious. :c
You got me when you had to look up the word "troglodyte." 😆 Otherwise, you are genuinely hilarious and I greatly enjoy your vids. Ty
Wearing pyjama's outside is a very cultural thing here in my country lmao (outside the USA). It usually happens early morning, late at night and public holidays. People really don't gaf and if it's just to the store it's fine, and I love them for it, though I don't have the confidence to do it myself. Love this vid, Tugg, keep it up!
As someone who lives in Canada and only thinks about LA and NY when someone brings up the U.S., not only was this video funny af, but i also learned a lot about some of the states. Great vid, please do more of these
You did?
Tugg had been such an inspiration to me that i now tell people to "Tugg Themselves" as opposed to the alternative 🤷♂️
People who stop at yellow lights are the actual danger. That is NOT safe driving.
I think what he mentioned about adapting to the driving culture of the place you are going to is correct. For example in UAE the fine for running a red light is thousands of dirhams, so a lot of drivers will stop at the yellow light but again all of us know that , so we are prepared to stop with them 😀
Exactly if you’re like 3-4 car lengths or less from a yellow light, go through the light
@@matttheman3923 Anything but the metric system
This is the reason i subscribed, absolute comedy! xD Also, as a German, "Whats your culture? An Espresso and a Cigarette" had me Dead man💀
This was great, hope you do more of these in the future!
Love your work, can't believe people take it so seriously.
As someone who will sometimes run an errand in pajama pants I 100% agree that's it's lazy and effortless
Lol same I am classless but I really don't care so 🤷🏼♀️
i haven’t been able to fall asleep without watching big tug for months and i have every long form video memorized from how many times i’ve listened to it because nothing else works

15:55 "Turning up in Oklahoma be like" Hey, as an Okie born and raised- Yeah no that's valid, there's jack sh-t to do here- Like there is but there isn't, lol
what’s crazy is the Trump rant guy typed almost exactly how some of Tuckers rants go. like bar for bar this is what i imagine a BigTugg video praising Trump to read like
Oh boy it's tugging time!
Please don't say that 💀
It's so horrible it deserves top comment💀
Tuggletts assemble for tugging time
I genuinely love bigtugg hes hysterical i dont understand how someone can be so casually funny
Man its actually wild hearing somebody online calling Cumberland Farms "Cumbees", not originally from NY just moved here about 10 years ago . Still remember loosing it at that video you mentioned a stewarts being on every corner xD
I love the way Tugglodyte sounds 😂 you shouldn't have had to even make this video, but I won't complain about extra Tugg content. Your community loves you and that's all that matters
I love it when content creators make videos like this. It’s like an equivalent to ‘treat others how u wanna be treated’ but better
As a Massachusetts driver i can confirm it absolutely pisses people off if you slow down to make a safe turn. I have since learned to have as little value for my life as the people who terrorize me every day.
8:52 ... it's spelled "loser", NOT "looser". One thing I hate about the new dictionaries, if so many people misspell a word, the folks in the Dictionary would just add the word.
I love how the people under the traffic video were calling him impatient as a bad thing.
Like, Tuggs impatient.
And that’s why we love him
Just logged on, woke up, and clicked on this.
same here
you opened youtube in your sleep?
In that order
I'm not a psychologist, but opening UA-cam in your sleep sounds like a content addiction symptom to me
This guy doesn't need a sleep cuddling pillow. They cuddle their phone.
Had a rough day, super excited when I saw you posted a video! Keep up the great work Tugg
You’re on point about the driving rant, as one from a neighbor state (RI) and was up in Worcester earlier.
@14:15 made me audibly laugh. Thank you Tugg
As a university student, I wear pajama pants to class occasionally when im hungover. It is a sign of giving up on the day right as its started 😊
i will forever stand by pj’s to the shop, so much comfier and warmer than regular clothes
this video might be the funniest thing he's ever put up, his witt and comebacks are really fuckin funny

P. S. sorry if I misspelled but english is my third language thx for understanding
4:24 as a nyc driver I love the shout out and acknowledgment of our crazy driving habits
"Being cold and angery isnt a personality trait" I know im gonna spell this wrong but Massachusetts 100% has that personality. Go there in the winter or go to Calgary. People are cold and pissed off. This made my day😂😂
The many months of cold grey crap weather gets to a person, it’s called seasonal depression and most of us Massholes drink a lot to get by.
