This is the best video I’ve seen on this yet. That stud is giving me all kinds of shit at the moment. I have like an hour an evening to work on this and I’ve sworn more than you have!! I think the two times I’ve gonna cry in life is when my son was born, and when I start this thing back up 😊
Some videos show loosening the engine carriage bolts a little to make room for it coming out. I did a 09 Mariner. Same stupid design. 12 hours later it was done. Ima fixin to do an 07 escape. Hopefully this time it will be better.
Well, I guess on the plus side, I've got front wheel bearings I need to swap, so I'll be part way there already. Not sure whether having the hub off will be any real help, but it should be one less thing to crawl around while doing this on jack stands.
these new cars are so frustrating to work on , I'm sure some mechanic got caught screwing the engineers wife ,so now its pay back time , I just smile when I have to work on my 1991 GMC 1500 ,thoes were he days .
Oh mine is up on stands in driveway as we speak lol definitely looks like a bitch. But thank god i have spare truck to drive and definitely not pressed for time. I will watch this about 4 more time before i get mine done. Im regretting just ordering just the regular cause ill be putting my old one right back in but only $20 for regulator. Thank you for vid.
