I’m buying my 6th Chrysler Minivan this week. Our 1st Chrysler Pacifica. I’ve owned 2 Grand Caravans, 1 Grand Voyager, & 2 Town & Country’s. Two of these vehicles were in serious accident being hit and totaled by other drivers. Walked away completely uninjured. These Chrysler products are very dependable and affordable to repair as they approached 200,000 miles. I can’t imagine our lives without a Minivan. They are the most useful, versatile, and affordable vehicle to own.
Thats a really nice van. Hard choice to make between the Sianna, Odyssey, and Pacifica. I think the Pacifica has the best looking interior of the three through.
"I'm not sure how much you would use the vacuum." Six virtual minutes in and you already needed to. As a parent of young children, I'd say *quite a bit.*
MiniCactuar Well, the sad fact is that you can easily pay $50k for the imports such as Toyota and Honda, and those are front-wheel-drive as well. I am aware of no four-wheel-drive minivan option. While I am not generally a Chrysler fan, the value of the Caravan is unbeatable, and with the full "stow-and-go" seating, you have a highly versatile vehicle, nicely equipped for not much money. This one here is too much money for me to spend on a vehicle and sleep at night, but the guys who have more money than they can spend-I know you're reading this-are welcome to it. Please report back your findings. I love the vacuum cleaner, but I'm not going to pay $20,000 for it.
+pillsnotbills Toyota Sienna is the only minivan with AWD available, as far as I know, with AWD models starting at about $34K USD and going up from there.
dashcammer Ah, so there is one still standing. That is just around $50k in our money to get in the door, probably closing in on 60k by the time you're done. It seems like one of those things where if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. I'd rather buy two vehicles at half the price, but maybe I have a skewed sense of value.
Still have no one talk about 8th seat on the middle row, how to install and where to put when not in use? And can middle row seat sliding back and forward?
the next test should be on light output at night and rainy nights. A recent report shows that most vehicles fail those test. as a parent in Tennessee. there are a lot of dark and poorly lit areas and I've only been in a couple of vehicles were you can seen the road, lines and off to the side where people are walking.
You can clearly see the monitors from the third row seating. I purchased two additional headsets which connect directly to the dvd players. My second row riders use direct connect sets while the third row riders use the wireless headsets which came with the vehicle. We initially purchased aftermarket wireless headphones to have extra in addition to the two which came with the Pacifica but have no clue how to sync them with the system in the car.
I had a Grand Caravan as a rental once, it impressed me with smooth ride and road holding considering its size and weight. The way it drives reminded me german cars. It is not a top heavy car and feels very stable. I initially thought it would feel like a bus but it isn't the case. I guess Daimler involvement has something to do with it. Still has the minivan looks though.
Nice review ! Sold my 2016 Yukon XL Denali last week and leased one of these in a limited. Considering its half the price of my previous car I would say it's a great value. Little harsher ride and not as quiet but very convenient for a family of 5. Another nice feature not mentioned here is the optional safety package which provides advanced braking and self parking.
+Landon Thomas It's actually 28 miles per US gallon highway. A (liquid, there's also a dry gallon but I've never come across it) US gallon is 3.785 litres. An imperial or UK gallon is 4.546 litres. 8.4L/100km is 33.63 mpg imperial/UK and 28.00 mpg US.
Having owned 4 REAL minivans (93 Plymouth Voyager SWB, 97 T&C and 2011 T&C and 2001 Sienna), This just looks like a station wagon. Hope they made the middle and rear seats more comfortable. I won't even point out the control buttons on the driver side door are the same as found in the 2010 minivan. And if they make it any lower, you can drive your rascal into it without ramps. And I love how they keep saying "I love the fact it doesn't look like a "minivan"". Why not just by a Tahoe or Suburban? But that's ok
The driver side controls are the same because they're from Mercedes Benz, back when the two companies used to be merged. So if you hate those driver side controls, I hope you don't like Mercs.
Nope. Never said I hated it, but why buy something that's using parts that's 10 years old? Nothing NEW or INNOVATIVE about that. Putting a Chrysler badge on what looks like a Mercury villager screams desperation. And since my last post and looking at one during an oil change, I walked away very unimpressed for the price. Just lots more cheap plastic and re purposed parts. Do like the little button to make the front seats move out of the way to stow the middle row seat. But I predict lots of snapped off plastic guards and covers. As far as your Benz comment, that's like saying if you didn't like the engine in the Plymouth Horizon back in the day, you didn't like VW. My guess the buttons were a Chrysler design (contribution) because they still are using them. I'm sure Benz doesn't want any of it's stuff on anything Chrysler. ;-)
Kwark, this wasn't a competition, just a different point of view. I purchased my first minivan in 1993. New SWD Plymouth Voyager. Drove it for 15+ years. Raised 3 kids driving that car. I owned a 97 T&C, 2001 Toyota Sienna and a now a 2011 T&C (plus the 2 jeeps and VW TDi and leasing a Buick Encore for my daughter). My current van is loaded for this weekend of camping. Nothing short of a long bed pickup or Suburban can match it's ability to haul lots of gear, in comfort. I'm hoping someone @ FRA understand the hipsters who got their Subaru's will want to move their growing family into a better fit and fuel the minivan need, which in turn, will keep it rolling out. My time of needing a minivan will be over in a few years (last kid going off the college soon). Already planing the T&C's replacement. So far, the Audi Q7 TDi is on the scope.
Great review. I am leaning toward a high end mini van to travel all over Canada and the US and actually live out of for the duration. So I want some luxury and features like this one offers.
Nice looking van. I like the stoaway seats. There is a big gap between the middle seats, I hope they have a removable seat option like the Toyota's Sienna.
Motormouth Great review and nice family. That review is really innovative. Great job and this van is great. I don't know about reliability. Fringers cross. I'm from Montreal.
Our Pacifica is too low to the ground. In 6 months of ownership, we had to repair/replace 2 bumpers and these computerized air shutters that break off when you scrape the front bumper. Cost us over $2000.00 to fix both times. This last time the shutter thing rubbed through the air conditioning condensor-we have no air conditioning. Don't buy if you live in a hilly area! Or get a lift kit for it!
Looks really cool. Thanks for the review. Wonder how the handling is different from a Honda Odyssey. How comfortable are the second and third row seats for adults? Driving dynamics and real world driving experience.
Gonna be honest this is super luxurious for a van, was at the Vancouver international auto show and sat in it and it was actually really nice. By the way was hoping to run into you there, did you go at all?
I would make the sloppy kids clean up their own mess. This was an entertaining video and the Pacifica looks like a nice vehicle. I just am not sold on their reliability.
They don’t because you get a better deal with Chrysler. Average people are getting 5k off MSRP. Try that with the Japanese, you’re lucky if you get 500 bucks off and a can of soda
marlon alston It was a joke. Loosing up man. Yes, I do kinda have a slight attraction to it myself, in an odd type of way. I said Mini-van and not a sports car, which mean that the design provoked you enough to choose it over a sport car even at your age. And now you made me dissect the joke. You should be happy.
lunisce *Update* Still have my T&C and just passed 156k miles. Only major thing i did was buy new front brake pads, drum brakes and master cylinder since they haven't been touched since the factory lol, other than that. it is still my daily driver. Horrible has mileage tho lol
On my 2nd grand caravan. First on went over 200k. Before trading it in on my 2011 that has 80k on it now. No major issues. just brakes and maintenance parts.
MY WIFE AND I WATCHED THIS YOU TUBE REVIEW AND THE NEXT DAY WE BOUGHT ONE. HERE IS A SUMMARY OF MY EXPERIENCE OF UCONNECT 3. Until two weeks ago, we owned a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country and we traded it on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L. We had hoped the problems with Uconnect would be solved with the newer Uconnect 3. The problems are the same and slightly worse. For two weeks I have been struggling with the following issues. Uconnect 3 will EVENTUALLY pair with my iPhone 6s Plus, but certainly not on the first attempt. It takes repeated attempts for them to finally pair. The process keeps giving me the message that the pairing was unsuccessful. I have no idea as to why or when they will finally pair successfully. I have read the print and the on-line manual, watched the UTube videos, gone to the dealership, phoned Chrysler Canada. I am none the wiser. Uconnect 3 will not respond to my voice commands. It WILL dial the numbers I give it but I have to pull over for that. That is not hands free. Uconnect 3 is actually worse than the version on my 2015 Town and Country. Every time I ask it to call such and such, the instructional message comes back to me on how to make a call. Say “dial and speak the number or say call and give the name.” I have heard that message too many times. I went to the service department at a Chrysler Dealership and Uconnect 3 worked slightly better with the service guy’s voice than it did with mine. But not every time he tried to make a call. He said I ought to work on how I say “call and the name.” I thought that was pretty lame. (I actually have a radio voice.) His boss did some research and informed us that there are compatibility issues among Chrylser, Uconnect, Apple iOS, and Rogers, my ISP. I phoned Uconnect Canada today and “Joyce” said much the same thing. My phone has the most recent version of iOS 10.3.2, whereas the radio in our Pacifica has iOS 10.0.0. “Joyce” said Apple has not yet provided Uconnect with the latest version of iOS. This does not really help me, the consumer, caught in the middle of this gap, at the expense of the money we paid for this 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. We are unable to hear any sound, as in no voice directions, through the radio, using the GPS function on the iPhone 6s Plus. It was also that way with the 2015 Town and Country. It was not until we discovered, late into our two-year ownership of the Town…, that we had to turn off Bluetooth, in order to hear voiced instructions. These could be heard directly from the iPhone, but certainly not through the radio. It is the same now with the 2017 Pacifica. Where in heaven’s name are the improvements with Uconnect 3? There are NO IMPROVEMENTS. IN FACT, UCONNECT 3 IS WORSE. IT IS A PIECE OF …
I am actually highly cynical about American cars in terms of reliability no matter how they look or what tech they use in them. But, this one looks good, I'll wait for reliability scores, if good, I'm all for it. great family btw. thanks Zack.
I'll tell you why I gave a thumbs up... You actually told us a miles per gallon number even while you are in Canada... Well, at least shoot for telling both city and highway mpg numbers in future vids if you would, please. Sometimes, decent vehicle reviews are hard to come by down here...
very nice minivan, but what is the cost of ownership? how reliable is this minivan? it's really hard to tell since it is its first year. It is too expensive for its first year. Chrysler minivan do not have the same good history as Honda and Toyota's minivan. first, Chrysler needs to demonstrate the hits minivan is reliable and the cost of ownership is low in order for them to charge as much as Toyota and Honda's minivan.
+ManyRadomThings so true, I purchased a 2008 Grand Caravan new and ended up putting about half the purchase price back into it in repair before it hit 50k miles. A polished turd is still a turd at the end of the day.
It's cost makes it not a family vehicle for me and the gas economy is not as good as it should be for a family, this to me is a upper end van for the retired couple that has a good retirement plan, don't get me wrong it is nice but being family friendly for most of us would mean a price in the low to mid 20s sorry but not for me and thank you for the great review you did.
Nice Review bro but i would never spend 50k on a minivan. I am gonna buy the base model and once my kids are all grown up i will trade this for a iPhone X.
When, I hear about all these new aluminum bodies and frames car manufacturers are rolling out I can't help but think about the cost of repairs if it's even worth fixing. These days cars are built to have crumple zones to help dissipate energy from a collision. These crumple zone and even more sheet metal plus more aluminum are turning what should have been a minor fender bender into a totaled collision.
I will choose the Canadian minivan over Hillary any day. It has slick lines and doesn't lie to your face and it won't sell out my country for pay to play to foreign countries.
i don't understan why canadians don fully use metric, don't be pressured by americans. it's more pleasure to listen reviews in metric than "us customary" (they call the customary "the standard", it isn't)
too bad for me, i have to listen to measures i don't understand or have clear reference i know i weight 110 kilos and i'm 172cm, but using pounds or foot/inches disorients me
brunoignaciogi so instead of giving courtesy to your next-door neighbors who tend to not use those measurements, you would just early and ate them from your video?
brunoignaciogi listen the point is the metric system is not the norm here in the United States, so it was nice of the person in this video to do it for both.
sure is.. if there's any ice under it. and where i'm from there usually is. I've seen so many people go nowhere on small hills with no AWD. if you bought one without it, you will soon find out ;)
Love that you included your Family! Made it more interesting.
Ha! It was fun seeing the "The boss" and the kids in a review Zachy!
It's nice to see your family in your video! Please involve them more in future videos!
Nice review, Zack and family!
Gotta say, for a mini van it's impressive.
This is the only American mini van I fell in love as soon as I saw its looks. LOL!
i know right
absolutely! same here!
I’m buying my 6th Chrysler Minivan this week. Our 1st Chrysler Pacifica.

No choice for me after driving my $20k Dodge minivan for the last 17 years I think its time to trade up.
This van is so gorgeous. I want the hybrid version.
Super Jeepin hybrid batteries cost a bunch
❤️❤️❤️ that you use your family to help give your review. Your the only person who I've seen do that. Great video!
you have a beautiful family zack
Wonderful review and nice to meet the family. Beautiful van.
What better way to review a minivan. I think it was a good idea of FCA to send reviewers and their families to see the Pacifica in person.
that's awsome that you involve your family in your reviews
This is probably the most practicable vehicle on the planet.
0:27 that couple fighting?? Awsm car btw!!
The best van in the world.I love it!
"I'm not sure how much you would use the vacuum." Six virtual minutes in and you already needed to. As a parent of young children, I'd say *quite a bit.*
Yes!!!!!!! You also said MPG. thank you sir
so nice to see your family! you have mentioned then in past videos
At that price point I would expect it to be AWD. That's a *lot* of cash for a FWD van, regardless of the tech.
+MiniCactuar These are Canadian Prices, not USD
Yes I am aware, I'm from Canada :) Still expensive though.
MiniCactuar Well, the sad fact is that you can easily pay $50k for the imports such as Toyota and Honda, and those are front-wheel-drive as well. I am aware of no four-wheel-drive minivan option.

looked like wife was holding back a smile or she was thinking "My hubby is such a geek with all this tech talk"
Solid review and video overall.
ha! he is Kool and I love his reviews they usually spot on. To me it appears his wife is thinking....is this what I have to do to get a vacation?
hey, it's nice to see your family.
+Muzammel Haque Mukul I think they may have been out-of-work actors. Their delivery seemed a little wooden to me, but what do I know?
good seeing the family
AND GREAT REVIEW AS ALWAYS
what about the back screen tvs,, do it have it,, to the third sit,,like the town n country 2010... thanks i love this car
I saw an entry level Pacifica at $28,000 and nicely upgrade at $34,000.
Seriously best looking van I've ever seen
Its 12am I should be writing a paper due tommorow instead Im watching van videos. Im not even married!
lol u are funny
Baked lol me either
Wtf! Same here! It's 01.41am i have a diplom project class tomorrow at 08.30 and i'm watching van videos. I'm not even married.
I like the style of this van
Not normally a segment I'm interested in.. but this is an appealing transporter
I laughed when you said “ I’m not sure how much you would the vacuum”!! 🤣🤣 Hahhhhh IT would be used EVERYDAY!!
Does the center floor console slide all the way back to give the driver more leg room?
Still have no one talk about 8th seat on the middle row, how to install and where to put when not in use? And can middle row seat sliding back and forward?
Nice review Zack and beatiful family!
Nice to see the family!
the next test should be on light output at night and rainy nights. A recent report shows that most vehicles fail those test. as a parent in Tennessee. there are a lot of dark and poorly lit areas and I've only been in a couple of vehicles were you can seen the road, lines and off to the side where people are walking.
+Antwion Cooper Good point...That's why i always test drive a vidhicle in the day and night.
they have a great Video system for the Middle row, but what options are available for the back row?
Alan, there are none. That's the "time out" row...lmbo!
sunroof, USB charging port, and ear flicking privileges.
You can clearly see the monitors from the third row seating. I purchased two additional headsets which connect directly to the dvd players. Really a minivan for two children. I would understand if it was 4 or 5 children. But I do love the review
But did you actually manage 34 mpg?
+Landon Thomas It's actually 28 miles per US gallon highway. A (liquid, there's also a dry gallon but I've never come across it) US gallon is 3.785 litres. An imperial or UK gallon is 4.546 litres. 8.4L/100km is 33.63 mpg imperial/UK and 28.00 mpg US.
No matter how lovely it is I don't think anyone is going to be spending that much money for a minivan
A nice review, and a lovely family :D
Having owned 4 REAL minivans (93 Plymouth Voyager SWB, 97 T&C and 2011 T&C and 2001 Sienna), This just looks like a station wagon. Hope they made the middle and rear seats more comfortable. You win, sir.
I almost universally agree with all your points.
Kwark, this wasn't a competition, just a different point of view. I purchased my first minivan in 1993. New SWD Plymouth Voyager. Drove it for 15+ years. Raised 3 kids driving that car. +MetaView7 They will
Zack and family that was surprise.I dont know Zack 53.000 for Van.Am guessing front wheel drive only.No good for Canada.
Great video Zack :)Thank you.
good for canada still convert it to propane hybrid
Hey Zack, Where did you get the price for Pacifica? From press-release? It is not available from official sources yet.
+Highway Cruiser yeah it is
Another great video. Thumps up
Motormouth
Great review and nice family. That review is really innovative. Great job and this van is great. I don't know about reliability. Fringers cross. I'm from Montreal.
Don't buy first year. If you do don't buy it with a sunroof. I helped design it. First year sunroofs are no good.
AS usual, solid review. Gorgeous vehicle, but the $1M question remains: how reliable will a FCA product be?
Our Pacifica is too low to the ground. In 6 months of ownership, we had to repair/replace 2 bumpers and these computerized air shutters that break off when you scrape the front bumper. Cost us over $2000.00 to fix both times. This last time the shutter thing rubbed through the air conditioning condensor-we have no air conditioning. Don't buy if you live in a hilly area! Or get a lift kit for it!
How much mpg does it get?
can u test the micra
Can you get a version wthout the sun roofs?
Yes, those models are cheaper in pricing.
Is this good in snow
Looks really cool. Thanks for the review. Wonder how the handling is different from a Honda Odyssey. How comfortable are the second and third row seats for adults? Driving dynamics and real world driving experience.
Gonna be honest this is super luxurious for a van, was at the Vancouver international auto show and sat in it and it was actually really nice. By the way was hoping to run into you there, did you go at all?
The old "stow n go" seats were very uncomfortable. How do the feel now? Scrap the name "Pacifica" and call it a "Voyager".
wow... Nice family!! Good to see them Zack :-)
Great review!
does it have cd
does it have AWD
I was thinking about an odyssey, might look at this one too
I would make the sloppy kids clean up their own mess. This was an entertaining video and the Pacifica looks like a nice vehicle. I just am not sold on their reliability.
Vacuum and Blender for me please
Wish you could buy this in the uk
I think, I'm gonna trade my 2016 caravan rt for this.
Bo Vorachack you’ll be happy you did.
they need to re think about there pricing.
They don’t because you get a better deal with Chrysler. Average people are getting 5k off MSRP. Try that with the Japanese, you’re lucky if you get 500 bucks off and a can of soda
this is definitely something I'm looking at, and my kids are grown.
+marlon alston You need help man. Midlife crisis, mini-van and not a sports car.
AutoRingMagazine ok so how am I having a midlife crisis if I'm not constantly trying to recapture my youth? This is a minivan not a Camaro.
marlon alston It was a joke. Loosing up man. Yes, I do kinda have a slight attraction to it myself, in an odd type of way. I said Mini-van and not a sports car, which mean that the design provoked you enough to choose it over a sport car even at your age.

AutoRingMagazine lol no problem, sometimes it's hard to discern a joke in-text form.
True. You have a good one.
We used to own a Chrysler van some years ago, that thing broke down at least once every couple weeks. Never dealing with another Chrysler again.
Wow, my 99 Chrysler T&C never gave me an issue and still runs like new.
And it is about to hit 150k miles.
Still driving my 17 year old Dodge minivan and it still drives and rides like new. Have driven the new Pacifica and will buy one.
lunisce

Where in heaven’s name are the improvements with Uconnect 3? There are NO IMPROVEMENTS. IN FACT, UCONNECT 3 IS WORSE. IT IS A PIECE OF …
Richard Dominico Sounds like a software problem updates are needed or maybe buy a different phone rather than a different vehicle..
I am actually highly cynical about American cars in terms of reliability no matter how they look or what tech they use in them. But, this one looks good, I'll wait for reliability scores, if good, I'm all for it. great family btw. thanks Zack.
This most likely won't matter but my 99 Chrysler T&C has been very reliable, It is my daily driver and still runs like new.
+Sam Lung good to know. thanks
+Peter
I just think there is more bad apples in American cars, of you know what i mean.
at 0:27 the lady in the passenger seat looks lime she is gonna smack that kid in the back😂😂
We LOVE LOVE LOVE ours!
shouts out to windsor
it was this vehicle or the new mazda cx9. just made my mind up mazda cx9 will be my new car
Really nice van, will do well for those who spends 50k for a family vehicle/people mover.
what's a meter?
mike dunn a unit of measurement.
I'll tell you why I gave a thumbs up... You actually told us a miles per gallon number even while you are in Canada... Well, at least shoot for telling both city and highway mpg numbers in future vids if you would, please. Sometimes, decent vehicle reviews are hard to come by down here...
love your show.
very nice minivan, but what is the cost of ownership? how reliable is this minivan? it's really hard to tell since it is its first year. It is too expensive for its first year. Chrysler minivan do not have the same good history as Honda and Toyota's minivan. first, Chrysler needs to demonstrate the hits minivan is reliable and the cost of ownership is low in order for them to charge as much as Toyota and Honda's minivan.
Not sure how much you’d use the vacuum.
Have you met my kids...EVERYDAY!
Starting price from 43,995, $47,995 & to $52,995? You can get a Honda Odyssey ELITE (Top model) for $44,875 and that's 2016.
Don't forget it's Canadian Dollars! The reviewer lives in Canada!
Um grande e maravilhoso automóvel, demais mesmo. maneco - PortoAlegre-RS - Brasil.
Holy crap over 53k for a van?!?!?!
+ManyRadomThings this isn't 2006, and I can personally tell you that isn't the case anymore.
+ManyRadomThings so true, I purchased a 2008 Grand Caravan new and ended up putting about half the purchase price back into it in repair before it hit 50k miles. A polished turd is still a turd at the end of the day.
+dygardion 91 That's Canadian dollars for the top-of-the-line trim. It's $42,495 in US dollars for the same model.
Jeff Puha ooooo ok
Damn sucks for them lol 53k for a chrysler.... no thanks . Not for me
+Jeff Puha I would rather come down here buy the van and drive it up
the EPA still rates the Odyssey with slightly better fuel economy with 29mpg compared to 28mpg for this new Pacifica
The odyssey won't match the hybrid mileage ha
I just want to have it !!!
Toyota and Honda need to up there game now!
+k rome84 yeah yeah
+k rome84 Learn english
New Odyssey will come in 2017 hopefully with AWD and the new hybrid powerplant from the new Acura MDX
Clear Sea Productions Wheres your period dump ass.?
Good video
Awesome episode! Incredible Professional Reviews by "The Boss" & Kids"
Nice Review bro but i would never spend 50k on a minivan. I am gonna buy the base model and once my kids are all grown up i will trade this for a iPhone X.
Nice Family !!😎👉🏼 👨👩👦👦
I hope they make a midsize suv called the aspen to rival the explorer.
At 6:38, who was annoyed when he didn't pick up that last piece of popcorn.
?
Around 7:20 he finds the last piece of popcorn :)
In America this car is cheaper than the Japanese competitors lol Canada gets crap prices
But your choices is Trump or Hillary, and no free healthcare....I pity Americans...
BC150YEARS What is wrong with Trump, Canada has been cucked
Avon Barksdale You poor as fuck LMAOOO
Sand in vagina. Indeed.
I will choose the Canadian minivan over Hillary any day. It has slick lines and doesn't lie to your face and it won't sell out my country for pay to play to foreign countries.
Guys, 53k come on that's insane
i don't understan why canadians don fully use metric, don't be pressured by americans.
it's more pleasure to listen reviews in metric than "us customary" (they call the customary "the standard", it isn't)
it's because they're right next door, and considering the fact that we view these videos too it would only make sense.
too bad for me, i have to listen to measures i don't understand or have clear reference
i know i weight 110 kilos and i'm 172cm, but using pounds or foot/inches disorients me
brunoignaciogi so instead of giving courtesy to your next-door neighbors who tend to not use those measurements, you would just early and ate them from your video?
marlon alston no, i would help those neighbors with the metric system.
brunoignaciogi listen the point is the metric system is not the norm here in the United States, so it was nice of the person in this video to do it for both.
you missed a popcorn there...
no AWD? all those features are useless if I can't get around in moderate snow.
AWD isn't needed in 'moderate snow'.
sure is.. if there's any ice under it.
and where i'm from there usually is.
I've seen so many people go nowhere on small hills with no AWD. if you bought one without it, you will soon find out ;)
I've been driving in and out of snowy canyons in Northern Utah all my life in my little Lancer. It performed fine. To each their own.
