Nice to see someone around here on UA-cam and showing the way of life. I crawfish the basin and crab and see kip around nearly everyday. He’s a cool dude!
@@kfred always sir was sent to New Orleans during Katrina as an LE troop and stationed in Alexandria till we could assist the folks down there. Fell in love with the people, abundance of food and of course Cajun music zydeco. Love it continued success and happiness my friend
Like the sustainable fishery ! You gentlemen set the right standards ! Thank you for all the conservation work and teaching the world how we all can prosper ! Great job guys !
I use to go with my uncle catching mud bugs. He passed away from cancer though. Now that I lost both legs from an IED in iraq it's hard for me to do that.
The crazy thing is navigating through that basin/bayou with no gps. Everything looks the same but I guess folks have been doing it for generations. the thing is also that folks have also been getting lost for generations. Kip really knows his stuff. Those are some nice mud bugs, bet they look even better when it's not as muddy. You the man KFred
Brother you knocked it out of the park with this one! Everything in this video is just beautiful from the scenery to the crawfish to the obvious great friendship between hard working men. What an outstanding operation Kip has built. Thanks for bringing this video to us! Really enjoyed it! I know part 2 gonna be even better! Take care, Brother.
I love fishing and hanging around people who have worked hard to figure out the game and they are not at all afraid to share their knowledge. I try to be the same way when it comes to what ever iam doing. Weather it is fishing or hunting or other things or obstacles in life. Another great video Sir. You definitely made me hungry.
They so big it's 10 to the dozen. He weren't lying. Man I be hanging a bucket under the drop chute. Them littleuns eats good too for me. A great video. Thanks for taking us along. Ain't many around like Kip and won't be any of um afore long.
Really enjoyed your video. Crawfishing is a lot of work and it has definitely changed over the years and I am sure it will keep changing. Thank you for taking the time to film a glimpse of the nesting eagles. Right now there's more nesting pairs of Bald Eagles in our state of Louisiana than there was in the whole lower 48 states put together. A great comeback success story. Appreciate your cooking segments too; they sure looks good!
Great video 💯. I was amazed at the green vegetation that is on top of the water like that. When the boat was stopped to collect the mud bugs 😅, and you look out over the green vegetation, you'd never know that water is underneath, unless you're on the boat. AMAZING 👏. He's definitely a hard working man, as are you and the other man in the video.
This is not the usual kind of videos I watch routinely but I truly appreciate it and love the hard work and responsible fishing you do in your line of work. I just subbed because I support your hard work and channel 👍
I didn't even get to try these when I had went down to Louisiana! I hadn't realized how much hard work went into getting them! I didn't even learn how to make Gumbo until many years later too - so it seems like I apparently missed a lot of good stuff! 😩 I'm bout due another trip down there anyway! ☺️ Thanks for this awesome video! ❤️
I have to say without a doubt this was the Best Educational Crawfish catching Video I have ever seen hands down💯💯💯 I loved it Brother 👊🏻👊🏻 Was some of the biggest and cleanest Crawfish ever!! The Eagles was an Absolute Bonus to see❤️❤️❤️ Thanks again Ken for another Great video as Always 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Great video Kendell ! Love the way it came out . It show a great side of our culture and the way some of our families and friends make a living from the land ! That is some nice crawfish !
What a great video! I've seen other videos where they trap crawfish in the rice patties, but I've never seen how they catch the river (basin) crawfish! Those are my favorites! Heck, you ain't even got to hardly wash them, they are so clean. Lot's of respect to those two guys for the hard work they put into their livelihood. When this video started, I expected to see a mud boat motor with all that thick green growth, but he plowed right through it with that 90 horse outboard. Great video and looking forward to part 2
Thank you so much! It’s honor to have you here on my channel. I just left a comment on your crawfish video. Wow !what an awesome channel you have. I plan to check out other videos when I get a minute Thanks again brother!

Ken, I really enjoyed watching how it's done in the bayou. I would have never guessed sweet corn as crawfish bait, but sure seemed to be working. Maybe there's some potential to partner up considering your ability to grow corn so well? Anyhow, thank you for sharing your world and taking the time to make such videos. God bless. A.
