Finally someone that knows how to cook blue crabs. It gets so old watching people cook them whole then pick the guts and lungs out of their food. If you don't clean them first you don't get the seasoning down into the meat! Looks great and makes my mouth water.
I will differ, as we pick them with season on top it get through the whole crab. Not including the apple cider vinegar, beer, seasoning. Steaming puts the flavor thru the crab. Trust me!! Maybe not. Lol they do look good Don't they!!
5 dozen crabs in an hour is really good. Catching 2 or 3 at a time gets you off the water quick! Neat idea cooking them on the BBQ grill. Looks delicious!
One of my favorite ways to eat crabs. I think I could smell them when you opened that grill !!! Got my mouth watering for sure, thanks Ken ! Ya'll stay safe now ya' hear !!!
This makes me want to go crabbing so bad. Yall caught some nice ones. I have barbecued crabs the same way you do it and like you said it's better than boiled. When they start cooking on the grill the smell is just amazing. My first time watching one of your videos and I subscribed.

Wow nice catch again very easy.here in the philippines the best way to cook the crab is put some coconut milk and you'll see the taste.good catch i love it.take care and stay safe.
I see this cooking style on so many channels and it bewilders me. I grew up in Yscloskey, LA, about an hour southeast of New Orleans, eating crabs twice a week in season. I have NEVER seen them cooked like this and it truly fascinates me that there are so many channels with this preprocessing cooking style. We literally just put them whole into a pot of boiling Zatarain's with all the other fixin's... let them cool and after that its up to you. Processsing 20 lbs of crabs by hand [for what?] is incomprehensible.

Excellent. My barber told me years ago about cooking them this way but I never bothered to try it. I'm definately going give it a shot after seeing your results.
Hi Kendall, I am still new to your videos, only watched a few however you have got my blood going. I am from Opelousas originally, I have lived in California for 35 plus years and haven't fished La. waters since my Father passed 20 plus years ago. I am almost finished building a tiny 8 foot boat that I am rigging for bass and will be driving down to Opelousas sometime mid September with a Grandson for a month or so of fishing. I would like to possibly meet and perhaps fish if you have the time. My Grandson has never been there and fished very little in his life. I think he would enjoy meeting you as well as I would. I plan to fish til I fall over lol/

Man, I miss catching a mess of nice Blue Crab. I used to hand line them from the bank, or net them under a bridge light. Blue Crab are some of the best tasting crab to me. I live in Florida and someday I'm gonna catch me some lobster and blue crabs, make crab meat stuffing to grill cook some crabmeat stuffed lobster. Maybe some Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, or Grouper on the side. Maybe Blackfin Tuna, or whatever kind of fish I caught that day. Ya mon.
Crabs are my favorite but I've never had them this way. Have a trip planned in June to do some fishing & relaxing. This is now officially added to our menu! Thanks!
