Calling MASSIVE Godzilla sized crawfish "under size" is totally insane. You could fit 7-10 crawfish from Lousiana in the same space as 1 of these things... These are more like Lobsters than crawfish.
Haha that would be cool. I actually have some crawfish nets on their way to Australia from Louisiana at the moment so that I can catch yabbies with them.
When I'd come back from crabbing, my mum would set up shop with a long-handled teaspoon, a pair of adjustable pliers and small toffee hammer. She'd be as happy as a pig in poo. If she was feeling fancy she'd have a loaf of fresh bread, some fresh lettuce leaves, salt and pepper and maybe some thousand island dressing. She always preferred spanner crabs and sand crabs over muddies. Crayfish were all good too.
Nice job brother. Here in Arizona, we have to catch 50 or 60 to have a decent meal, but they are much smaller and considered an invasive species, so no laws against catching as much as you want. The only law is you are prohibited from returning them to the water you caught them in. God bless bro. (I catch them by hand with a snorkel and mask, gloves, and a nice underwater flashlight).

Great vid mate. And good looking catch. Never seen them in the flesh. Redclaw up this way. I used to run 2 battery powered aerators in two tubs and let them flush out for 2 days. Then cook. Never tried the lemon trick, I used whole garlic cloves and a bit of raw sugar and brown vinegar. Bloody lovely. If I ever get another chance I'll definitely try the lemon.

Another great video as alwaus mate! I took my mate out(previously mentioned in other comments as the new cod fisherman) on his first Cray session last night. Unfortunately no cook-up for us this time but still had success in terms of getting him his first - a bloody HUGE female. I called it as soon as the net popped out of the water and i saw her claws and eventually the rest of her body that she was well over, and then she was full of eggs on top of that so just ended up getting a quick pic and a measure, she came in at around 14-16cm on the carapace, didn't want to keep her out too long and stress her so made sure to get her back in the water and away she swam❤️
