    That foam tape seems to also help raise the diffuser panel away from the leds to provide the right distance needed for proper diffusion. (As well as block light leakage). Thanks for another good tip!

    Thanks dudes! I finally tore open my smoked obs chevy tails to start testing designs using the diffuser strips and red led strips i got from you. Prelim testing went excellent!

    I prefer Ghozt and Blueghozt a lot more than the zLed stuff. Always had issues with zled boards and sort lives. Otherwise not a bad build for a beginner out there willing to attempt their own build. Made it easy for them to understand. Few things I would do differently, but solid build nonethless.

    I apologize if you specify in the tutorial, but I would like to know what the controller you used was to sequence?

    Bro nice tutorial honestly if you get to make the 10th gen civic coupe tail light better you will be a hero because honestly I think it’s one of the taillights with the most potential.

    do you know the electronic device that allows the rear low beam to go off, when the brake light is on .. because the low beam of my car is blue so it's not good if two lights are on at the same time.

    I'm not trying to being smart but... Instead of that glue maybe using fast glue with activator would work better ans cleaner?

      any item that's 2-part (epoxies, etc) releases heat upon curing (aka warp certain plastics), and is also somewhat of a pain to remove if you need to undo it for whatever reason. Hence why we don't use it. But in some situations, its definitely better.

    Where can I purchase the diffusing material and what is it called?

    • @kevinjones2208
      @kevinjones2208 2 роки тому

      This link is some diffusing material that would work well in tail lights, but unfortunately it is expensive. www.eplastics.com/lighting-diffusers/led You might be able to look up LED diffuser channels on amazon and take the diffuser portion out of it and use it for the taillight if you can find a channel that is wide enough to cover the portion of the taillight that is needed.

    14v led strip hahaha yeah good one buddy all 12v led strips will sustain 14v so that is false.

    • @illumaesthetic
      @illumaesthetic  Рік тому +1

      This is incorrect. You can run 12V strips at 14V, but you will overheat and overcurrent them - reducing their lifespan.

      @@illumaesthetic bullshit i am an auto sparky an alternator in a car runs a max of 14v 14.3 to be exact. So peddle ya bullshit somewhere else buddy. Also why not run a pcb board instead of using led strips you can buy on ebay for $9 and a sequencer for $11

      @@Thewolverine691 Take it you never considered overvoltage hence the reason for higher led strip voltage to prevent premature failure. SMH
      Majority of the people who add these lights have a project car that's likely not stable with voltage anyways so that's another thing to consider SMFH.
