You make a very informative high quality tutorial. I am seriously impressed how you were able to make it completely comprehensive to someone like myself with little to no knowledge about the subject. I'm able to understand every aspect of the build and it really isnt to hard to do so but you didn't overwhelm viewers. By teaching the function of each component before the application I was able to see it before it was visually applied, this is wonderfull and I wish that teachers in schools could grasp this method of teaching kids, you made a rather complicated process ( for the avarage inexperienced ) appear simple as not to intimidate the student, therefore allowing the mind to retain instead of fearing the unknown . I have to say, you tube is where I have learned alot but this video you made goes so far above and beyond that. You are a true master in your field and it shows in your work, my hat is off to you. I watched your how to build custom sequential LED strips and made it all the way thru. Great information and what I was looking for. I have a 240sx S13 hatch and was looking for some led tail lights but can not find anything that I want. After watching this, I now want to do my own.
Reason why people shouldn't complain about price, that was a lot of work put in to a single turn signal. Thanks I learned a lot just on this video alone.
Found the video enjoyable, and the 30 minutes went by very quickly. I wasn't able to sleep, and wanted a short video, and next thing you know, I'm up and very awake because the subject was presented in a great way. We don't need music and it often gets in the way. Great video man! I’m not sure how I came across your video but this is what I’m all into..tinkering and creating things, by profession I build smart homes but my hobby is cars, definitely will be making a set for my qx70. Thank you for the knowledge. 📚📚🔥🔥
Awesome video man!! I've been wanting to learn how to program and work with custom sequential lights for cars ever since taking a Mechatronics course in engineering. I'll definitely sign up for the LightsMen email list and follow your channel! Keep it up!
I love this video I watch all the way through it and I am so happy you made this video I was really stuck on making a sequential car light and start my own business, I found this video very interesting btw all the way through 🙌🏽
@20:00 talks about how to keep all the wires the same length. Great idea btw. @24:00 makes them all different lengths. Did that cause problems with the programming? When you mentioned keeping them all the same length, I was thinking about making sure I keep my speaker wires the same length. You're talking about electronics which are alot more precise than my old ears. Subsrcribed. Great video!
I just found this, that was a great video! Would love to do that to my car as i've factory led stop and tail and God knows it needs a bit of street cred 😁😂 will def be watching this a few times
Hey what’s up bro your videos are hella dope and have giving me inspiration to try some stuff on my own. I’m sure the information is here I’m just having trouble finding these LED chips! Can you point me in the right direction. Thanks again bro
Something to consider would a hot air solder station or a better yet a small re-flow oven. You can bake a whole set of surface mount (SMD) at once or with the hot air, get focused air with more control and less movement for a small number of parts or replacing individual surface mount components that fail. Plenty of DIY ovens out there, but would not recommend the heat gun as DIY, too much air and not enough focused heat or heat control.
Really ENJOYED both videos. Don't feel I could do this on my own. I would prefer you to improve my Aura headlights for me and pay you. They don't make aftr market led headlights for my car which is a bummer for me. Like your calmness and easy to follow instructions. I would like my led brake lights to do that sequential look when I apply the brakes. If that brake kit now plug & play and easy to add to my Aura taillight, would be interested. Thanks for the good intro.
I don't work with this type of project(for now), I'm building custom horticultural fixtures, doesn't matter, watched the whole thing. I guarantee I'll use something I learned from this.
Awesome information! Watched the entire video and also interested in the classes. I was designing a circuit using an Arduino to do the sequencing but the ghost module might replace that now (I’ll probably still work on it lol). Love all the information I have seen from you, glad I found your channel. It has given me a lot of ideas!
I did the same with arduino man, for my foglight angel eyes. Biggest issue with arduino was the boot up time, you cant have the circuit doing just indicating, itll need external power from somewhere
FlyRyde the main thing I was working on was custom animations using addressable Led’s so that the animations could be any color, and connect over Bluetooth (basically ghozt before I knew about it). The other project was just a headlight/tail light simulator circuit that has quick push terminal connections (like speakers do) to actually test out the lights before they go back in the vehicle. So that the demo would be switched rather than touching wires together.
Awesome dude, very inspiring. Also you are a pretty good instructor, no added video bling ( music and lighting tricks etc. ) just right to the point . That's how you do it. I'm definitely going to do this. I bought some custom Euro spec Angel eye headlights, from Romaina for my 96 MKIII Cabrio and some really ugly dot style LED tail lights. And I got no problem cutting those ugly rows of dots out, so I can design something with a custom shape. And have them look as Awesome as the ones you have created. So I'm either going to have some awesome one off headlights and some matching Fly LED performing taillights. Or some Awesome one off headlights, and stock tail lights because I really screwed them up. 😱😱. But I am definitely going to try and do this. And by the way, I watched all the way to the end, and clicked on your links. I have checked out your 20 LED kit, watched the videos there, checked out the LED's on the other link, and have considered how much it's going to cost. And I'm doing this, thanks man I also subscribed and gave 👍👍. I'm thinking of maybe, two circular rings that rotate in oposite directions for the brakes after the three flashes. With running sequential turn signals, flowing along both the top and bottom . Starting at the inside edges center, and flowing down then turning to flow out to the outside edge to flow back up to the outside edges center. Then cycling back again, but flowing in the one direction. Oh yeah, I'm feeling this!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Wow I wish I could come work for you! These builds are so similar to running lights for concerts/productions. The logic is the same and the programming/creativity/problem solving/etc comes so easily to me :) Love your videos too! I just wish you kept the music playing throughout it was soothing and nice for note taking 😇 Thanks for taking the time to teach us and I’m definitely interested in the online course
Good job, dude! Nice tutorial. Most tutorials show the person making something flawlessly and very minimal explanation throughout the entire process. I like this though, because you showed how to trouble shoot a problem that is almost guaranteed to occur for anybody making anything like this, that cant do things perfect every single time no matter what. Great video! I like that hat, too! I need oneeeeeee! lol, Subscribed!

Very nice. Clear cut and highly informative. Thank you so much for this. I can't wait to learn more.
Nice job! I came across this through auto play After another car video. Very interesting stuff and great instructions!
What a super informative video, many thanks for making it. Everyone should watch from start to finish. Great stuff.
Wow sooo good. I was scared to do anything with led lights I was buying ready made leds but now I will try myself. Awesome awesome job. Well done and most important thank you💪👍👍
I'd take your course provided it's not too pricey. This work would really make my van and boats look great.
497 ain’t cheap. For those looking to just goof around on the side I wouldn’t recommend it. If you’re down for some long videos and my best effort to train you, I’d dive in knowing you’ll be making money with this stuff.
Hi Chris , I just start to watch your videos , I'm from Canada , I'm really interested to learn about your art , if you can make more videos pls! By the way I like your natural sens of humor! I wish you all success in your life , you deserve all the best because of your nice heart 😊, your friend from Canada
Thank you for such a great message 🙏 What part of Canada are you from? I love it up there 💚💚💚
@@flyryde i live in the province of Québec, about 15min From Montréal , you are welcome anytime Chris 😊😊😊
Awesome info and great to pass that sort of thing on as that info is money. Cheers again mate.
Great video man! I’m not sure how I came across your video but this is what I’m all into..tinkering and creating things, by profession I build smart homes but my hobby is cars, definitely will be making a set for my qx70. Thank you for the knowledge. 📚📚🔥🔥
this vid deff showed me a lot for my upcoming led project i have for my rsx and if all goes well deff will try a business with it awesome vid bro
Dude very cool stuff you are doing with led’s.
Awesome video man!! I've been wanting to learn how to program and work with custom sequential lights for cars ever since taking a Mechatronics course in engineering. I'll definitely sign up for the LightsMen email list and follow your channel! Keep it up!
I love this video I watch all the way through it and I am so happy you made this video I was really stuck on making a sequential car light and start my own business, I found this video very interesting btw all the way through 🙌🏽
It may be a bit extreme for the application but this is gonna make some of my Power Wheels and Ride On builds I do dope as hell!
Where did you get the circuit board from
Love watching this guy.
I just found this, that was a great video! Would love to do that to my car as i've factory led stop and tail and God knows it needs a bit of street cred 😁😂 will def be watching this a few times
You’re what’s up! Thank you for your information! I watched the video all the way tru... your knowledge is awesome
Hey what’s up bro your videos are hella dope and have giving me inspiration to try some stuff on my own. I’m sure the information is here I’m just having trouble finding these LED chips! Can you point me in the right direction. Thanks again bro
dude, love your style. I'm gonna learn a ton from this channel!
I guarantee I'll use something I learned from this.
great job , i did not waste my time watching your video , i will share it thanks
Super glad you found the channel as well! Its all about getting your creativity charged up! What are you trying to accomplish with your Arduino setup?
I did the same with arduino man, for my foglight angel eyes. Biggest issue with arduino was the boot up time, you cant have the circuit doing just indicating, itll need external power from somewhere
FlyRyde the main thing I was working on was custom animations using addressable Led’s so that the animations could be any color, and connect over Bluetooth (basically ghozt before I knew about it). The other project was just a headlight/tail light simulator circuit that has quick push terminal connections (like speakers do) to actually test out the lights before they go back in the vehicle. So that the demo would be switched rather than touching wires together.
Spoolie ST good to know, I wonder if you just programmed the atmega chip and made a pcb circuit if it would boot faster
Jeremy McCabe yeah man definitely would! Its all the arduino boot loader stuff that slows it down.
Absolutely Brilliant! I’m really want to give this a go!
Same as everyone said, you kept me interested in the whole video!! Ty for your knowledge!!
I just wish you kept the music playing throughout it was soothing and nice for note taking 😇
Thanks for taking the time to teach us and I’m definitely interested in the online course
Super dope info! I have been wanting to get into this and have watched a lot of videos but this beats them all. Appreciate it
Prestomatic FPV stoked you’re into it man 👍
Thanks man you just answered alot of questions and taught me alot in need to window shop on your online store like yrs ago glad U know where to go now
Good job, dude!
Thanks dude, lol, as you can tell I’m not super worried about the judgement of being real and screwing up pretty often 👍
I tend to be the same way. Dont like me? Dont look at me! Dont like what i do? Dont buy my shit! Hahaha props bro, looking forward to more from you!
i randomly came across your video, youtube was just running. I loved it, i have no intention to do any of the stuff that you do, but big shout out to you for taking the time to put the video out on your craft. truly amazing. Please let me know how i can get in touch with you i have a few ideas after watching the video.
