If you use Agoda in Vietnam you need to stop and watch this.

I found out about a Hotel Booking tourist trap hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, while booking through a hotel through Agoda. After contacting an Agoda agent, I learned that the hotel, located in District 2 of Ho Chi Minh, is participating in a scam targeting tourists. I am still gathering information, but it appears that the hotel accepts credit card payments via an illegal partnership with a Chinese payment processor based in Hong Kong and when you show up the front desk lady demands more money from you.
