I' so happy you put this video up -- where you were planning something, and it didn't go as planned, and you showed yourself correcting it and going in a different direction. Because that's real! It also helps us see how to do the same. Additionally, your eyebrow situation is identical to mine, and I've been thinking about doing what you did. Now you've given me the courage to work on getting the tail of my eyebrow to be cheated upward as well. I'm so glad I discovered your channel.
Oh, I'm so happy this helps you, Sharrell! Literally, this is me all the time. Rarely do I get my makeup perfect the first time unless it's really basic. But I love to play and since it's my art therapy, running into problems actually can make it more fun.
Of course, it's fun because I'm not in a rush try to get to work or a social event. If I were trying to rush out the door, it wouldn't be so relaxing.🤣
I love my eyebrows now. I've been wanting to do that for so long. I was worried what it would like like when I didn't have my makeup on, but honestly it's fine. I'd rather have the lift.

Thank you! I want to play again with that first colour I tried. I think I just placed it in the wrong spot in the beginning. Dior released another palette for the holiday season in the Backstage collection. I love the Dior Backstage shadows. I've never been disappointed.
Ohh if my mother had see thoes blue colors she would have bought it, she always had to have blue eyeshadow on, she loved blue.

My husband went to Florida on Wednesday. He's never been one for noise in the house so when he's away, I let the kids have their friends over and let loose. It's nice to have laughter in the house. Lexie's is coming home from Brooklyn on the 19th. My heart will be so happy to have them all home. It gets loud with four kids and their partners but I love it.

Thanks for the comments on under eyes. I always feel like people are thinking they show so much texture. Maybe not since they aren’t looking through a 10x mirror? Lol
Right? If people are seeing texture and creases they're probably too close and if they're that close, it's most likely you're husband kissing you and I know he's not checking your under eye.🤣
In my experience, when I notice texture, it's typically because the concealer is too light or the wrong type of concealer.
A friend of mine has so much texture because she owns two cats and her allergies are awful. I suggested a really good eye cream and a cream concealer. The eye cream helped the texture slightly but until she has to settle allergies down. So issues like that are tough.

Thank you! I want to play with it again and use it in a different order. Maybe I'll film an Instagram reel with it. I think I can make it look more green and I want to play with that first colour more. To be honest, it wasn't the creamiest formula I've ever used. Not that eyeshadow always has to be creamy. It actually felt like it would stay a long time because it had a bit of a grip.

I used it yesterday and filmed it. I meant to do a check in but I didn't, so I'm not sure if the video will look good. All the kids were here last night with their friends. I love the noise when they're around. My home is full of life and I don't want to take time away from that.
I need to play with it again. I'm not sure how I felt about it. I think I need to use a sponge instead and press it in rather than use a brush. I think I agree with you, that using it for contour and highlight may be better. Interesting, because I love the HD Foundation sticks. I assumed this formula was the same.
Hi Julie, do you ever powder your eyes after using the MAC paint pots? I use Painterly too, and will powder my eyes gently before shadow application. If I don’t, the shadow seems to “drag” sometimes. That seems to do the trick for me. The look you created looks stunning on you! Yes, very elegant and I’d say complimentary to your coloring! Your brows look really nice, we are our own worst critic! You seem like such a good Mom! I can tell your kids/family are a treasure to you. Me too, they get the very best I have to offer-always! 😊
I don't normally but that may have worked with this palette. To be honest, it wasn't the easiest formula to work with or maybe I was having a bad day. I decided to return it.🫤

Hi Vicky! It's called PicoSure. It's safe for all skin tones and doesn't remove hair. I've had one session but it was combined with a radio frequency device so I didn't get the full strength of the Picosure. I would love to have it done. Mine are so pink.
I love Dior but the sometimes their shadows are a bit miss for me, they lack luster. The Heaven on Earth palette from Sydney Grace has very pretty shades of blue and earthy tones, have you seen it ? I love Syndey Grace. I'm going to go look at her site now. I found this palette was a little difficult. I love Dior Backstage shadows. They're smoother and user friendly.

@@JulieMeikle I will use NARS concealer from time to time, but not daily, however I put on makeup daily. I’ve started using Isdin eye cream and am a fan. I think it actually works. 💖
