Beautiful! The only change for me would be an eyelid primer. NYX has a white one in a pot. It’s mineral oil based. People seem to like the ABH one too.
I thought of that too, Julie. Do you mean to even out her skin? The shadow stick made it stay all day and acted as a primer but it didn't cancel out discolouration. Valerie doesn't wear much so I didn't want her to feel heavy.
Valerie looks great and so do you. As the mother to a son who is my only I pray that when he gets married my daughter in law can do my makeup as well❤

Beautiful video Julie❤ and Valerie is a stunning, elegant woman!! Natasha Denona’s N4 is what I use to spot conceal my face (in winter) and N2 is my inner eye brightener (I don’t use concealer under my entire eye area… I do inner and outer corners only🤷♀️) and I LOVE, love, love it!! It’s so lightweight and yet full coverage at the same time. I’m gonna have to try that foundation you used on Valerie… it looked amazing on her❤❤

Obviously your husband set out to find a beauty like his mom to spend his life with! I would love to see you try the Mane thermal brush on her hair.
🥰 I styled her hair the day before and I thought of using it but she doesn't have the energy all the time to style it and the more it's smoothed out, the flatter it gets. Her hair is pretty fine so I blew it out in a way that would give her the most volume to have it last the whole week. It would have worked beautifully though. Great minds think alike.
@@JulieMeikle my hair texture and length is somewhere between yours and Valerie's. The reviews on Sephora are so mixed. The positive ones are mostly from incentivized reviews. I picked it up in store and was surprised and how lightweight it feels, almost too much so. But it seems to work great for you.
if you put the dark shadow higher on her brow bone would it recede that a bit?
I wouldn't with eyes shaped like Valerie's. She has a lot of lid space and her crease is already pronounced. It's more important to outline her eyes and open them up with mascara. However, it doesn't mean your wrong. In this case I know Valerie and if I added darkness there she wouldn't be comfortable.

Does that whirl lipliner suit most lipstick?
Clarins is a luxury brand, that's for sure. Are you in Canada? I would use my Shoppers Optimum points and buy it on Seniors day. I'm sure that's what Valerie does. Shoppers senior discount starts at 55. I'm almost there.🤗
Oh, and I would say yes to Whirl. It's a muted rose tone. I consider it mauve but it's not bright mauve. It goes with a lot. What lipsticks do you wear? I can help you choose a lip liner if you'd like.
I am 64 and would like to re start using a full coverage foundation. I don't like matte - what would you recommend ❤
Hi Teresa! May I ask what you've been using? What are you wanting to cover? The foundation I used on Valerie isn't full coverage but it evened out her skin tone beautifully. Do you have sun spots to cover? If you can give me more information it would be helpful. In the meantime, I love Dior Forever Glow foundation. It's beautiful.
Can you also tell me what skin care you use? That will help me understand the textures you like.
I use Clinique moisture intense , for foundation I have been using Clinique Redness control, or color science tinted sunscreen. I have a few sunspots but mostly uneven skintone redness and fine lines

How much ND concealer did you use under her eyes? I think I'm using too much based on how beautifully yours blended out.
Hi Sherry, I used very little. I put it on my hand first and dipped my brush into it. Maybe you could try that instead of applying it directly on your skin.
