Can you do a video on how to prep skin before using new products if I use one already
I have a dry and textured skin but not really bumpy per say, mine is rough (rash like) on my tzone and chin area. My routine is - simple moisturising face wash, acwell toner, paulas choice (2% salicylic acid), cosrx all in one cream and aqua sun screen. I have been using this together for like 1 week now if not more, though some have been in my routine before now but I don't think I'm seeing results as I should.

I just bought the Neutrogena 2 in 1 fight and fade toner that contains both salicylic acid and glycolic acid but I haven’t started using it and my face feels so textured and bumpy with acne scars and hyperpigmentation. I wanted to ask if I should use the Neutrogena toner every night or just three times a week and what’s the best product to get rid of this hyperpigmentation and acne scar.
PS: I have been using the Ordinary Niacinamide for close to a month now but then my face just feels worse.
First , too many questions 🙏🏽, so I’ll try my best to answer the one I can . Definitely see a dermatologist for the one I can’t . Exfoliation ( chemical) should only be done on the skin 2 ce a week . No matter the product you get .

Unfortunately salicylic acid doesn't work for me.. Makes me more irritated.. My skin loves Lactic Acid as an exfoliant tho'.. I'm oily acne prone
Yes that’s why I mentioned it in the video , it’s the consistency with the exfoliation that gives great results .

@@busolaadedoyinzoe don't worry you will. Skincare can sometimes be trial and error... Just use one active at a time first so that you'll know what works and what doesn't

No, don't use everyday.. You might be over exfoliating and might cause more harm than good... You can get a gentle cleanser without salicylic acid for everyday use and then just use the one with salicylic acid 2 or 3 times a week or when your face needs it.
No .. you need to get a separate cleanser and a separate exfoliant so you can get equal benefits in a structured routine that won’t irritate your skin .
Is it possible to notice visible pimples but when I touch my face it feels smoother to the touch like I have nothing on my face ? I hydrate a lot so I’m not sure if it’s the hydration I’m feeling 😂

I have the same issue 🤣 there's a lot of little point, like pimples on my face, but when I touch my face I feel nothing, my face feel smooth, but it's visually not. Btw 1 year later, did you find a solution?
@@kataraaa thank God you understood😂 . Oh my dear I have been using exfoliating cleansers that contains a combination of salicylic acid and glycolic acid . If you’re in nigeria you can get the skinscienceafrica gly/sal exfoliating wash or the Cerave salicylic acid wash . It has really helped me alot as I use it three times weekly . I’m also on prescription strength tretinion as prescribed by an aesthetician . My skin is in a really good place now .
