1) The average ratio of men to women on dating apps is 12.3 to 1. This means that women have more choices than you (no matter how you look), so they will be insanely picky... there's another 100 000 males with a "V shape", there's no reason for you to stand out unless you have some other striking features and if you are a handsome man with a chizzled jawline women will be all over you whether you are in shape or not.
2) The insane amount of fake/bot profiles on these apps to compensate for the lack of real people.
3) The insane amount of females who use the apps for an ego boost and have no interest in dating (or sleeping with anyone).
4) An OkCupid study shows that women find 82% of men on these apps unattractive. Yes, not even average, just straight up unattractive. That means that no matter what style or "V" shape you have the majority of women WILL find you unattractive.
5) Not to mention the catfish.
Dating apps are for suckers, only about 6% of men on dating apps have success with women and that means by sheer statistics alone you probably wont be part of that majority. You will have much more success meeting people in public and not listening to Pick Up Artists like this guy who are just trying to sell you garbage.

They don't get anywhere near that much validation even in bars/clubs. Even if you are a decent looking guy on these dating apps, you will have tons of fat and/or ugly women swipe no on you, implying they can "do better" than you. This is hilarious because in real life, bars and clubs for example, they will never have the chance to do that to you because a decent looking guy will not even approach these girls never mind even notice them and these girls certainly aren't gonna go up to you and say "I'm too good for you". I am getting results, but what I am noticing is they are looking for a texting, ego boost buddy... If your online set up a meet up immediately withing a week span. Do not become a texting buddy. I get better options with day game, I noticed the women I game in reality I get over time...
That was my experience as well (texting buddy). Soon as I asked to exchange numbers and meetup she stopped texting. These women just want to sit on the computer and get lots of texting buddies to give them validation (non-sexual attention).

Dating apps are the worst. I've deleted them all and genuinely have had more success just approaching women when I'm out with friends. Have a 10 minute chat, get their number, arrange to meet. Always going to have a stronger impact.

Just like all things in life - online dating requires work. As men, we need to do the work if we want to get good results in any facet of life. Online dating is no exception. Work on yourself, your body, your style, your grooming, and then put it all together with some good professional photos to market yourself on these apps.
I'm getting some professional shots done today. Let's see what happens. I spent a decent amount of time being unsuccessful online because of grainy quality club/bar pics with my bros. Time to change that.
Sure, it's "wEiRd" to get a photo shoot done for online dating - some of my close buddies have already made a fuss about it. But fuck em. Going against the grain (average bottom 80% of Men today) will yield positive results.

It works! When I did online dating, I got professional shots done and it made a world of difference. I had women writing me first and almost every woman I wrote answered back.

I haven’t had any success on dating apps, and I think I’m decent looking as a tall, fit guy. It must be my poor photos, which I took of myself wearing unstylish clothes in my home with poor lighting. At the time, I thought showing myself in a better light would be putting on a facade. For example, I don’t get out much, and I don’t have any friends. Why portray my life differently when she will find out anyway?

It's a game I point blank refuse to play, yet it's the only language women seem to understand these days. Working on my health and wealth is far easier than building a social media profile/social proof/selfies/bragging/ narcisism etc. My life is littered with things that would tickle a woman's hypergamy but I don't plaster it all over my FB as it's not in my nature. I have no problem getting matches with beautiful women on tinder, my issue is I have trouble translating the matches into dates. Can you make a video about the game aspect of online dating?
Unfortunately matching doesn’t mean anything. I have gotten many numbers or matches at speed dating only for them to never respond. Sometimes matching is simply an ego boost for them.
Dating apps also affect attraction in person as well since she feels she can always do better since the "supply" is the WORLD!
Bingo! In the end it works against women because sooner or later they have to realize that they don't have as many options as they think they do thanks to dating apps.
Dating apps suck. They are far more favorable to women to the point that they are a waste of time for guys. Women love to use them to boost their self-confidence and find texting buddies. They are very picky, get 100:1 response ratio compared to what men get on the apps (not scientific stat, but it's close to the reality). They'll drag out the back and forth forever and often it will just fizzle out without a real meeting. They're a huge time sink with little gain and the people that own/run them know that it's a joke on the guys.
And anyway, the women on them are not going to look like they look like on the app and since looks are the number one criteria for guys, you're going to be disappointed most of the time.
Act like Christian Slater would in this situation. Give it a couple of text echanges before getting down to meeting. If she stalls, you cut her off. That ensures you don't waste time. Remember what staying within your frame means.

I have used black and white photo effects to good use. I have olive skin but it has worked well. Richard is right looks do matter I workout a decent amount. Remember women trade up if they think you are an 8 or 9 they are around a 6. She will only want you from a looks perspective if she thinks you are better looking than her not the other way around.

The key with the dating apps is the algorithm. If you can give the algorithm what it wants in the right way at the right time you’ll get the max amount of matches.
Im a solid 7 and usually get around 25 matches on tinder in a month. I switched it to guys just to see what would happen. Within 1 hour I had 200 likes.

I think internet dating ruined my marriage, although I do acknowledge there were problems in the relationship prior to me leaving a 20 plus year relationship. Unfortunately, I felt bogged down by the burden of responsibility of a long term marriage and escaped to searching for women on online dating sites, (just curious). Then secretly started "going on dates" which eventually ended the marriage, and broke the kids hearts.

Nothing new here at all, but it's a decent reminder if you still believe for some reason women are worth all the work you need to put in in order to attract them. Dating apps are looks based first and foremost and the number one thing that's rarely discussed in these communities is that many aspects of your looks (race, height, facial structure, bone structure, eye color, etc) put a hard cap on your SMV. Do the best you can obviously, but if someone better equipped than you puts in the work too, you wind up in the same place you started because women ALWAYS choose the top 20%. At best you'll only be able to out-compete the 6s and 7s who didn't do the work. That's just how it is. If you can accept that and still want to play this game, you'll have the proper mindset for it.
Be realistic about whether the juice is worth the squeeze. Most times it isn't.

I use to be so good at getting girls online but noticed I could only keep their interest for a week or two and was curious of what I was doing wrong. Here's the thing. Even if you meet them offline "in the wild," they're still using Tinder to see if you really are the best they can get and to trade up.
There's something about professional or thoughtful photos that says, "I put effort into dating" that makes higher-value women more likely to swipe right when they otherwise wouldn't. Someone who puts effort in will also be drawn to effort.
Women also make assumptions about what we think you are like as a person based on your photos.

One time I went to a bar and one side was benches the other side was a chair
I sat on the beach side which was maybe six inches shorter than the chair and the lady ended up a little taller than me
I got some drinks and made us change places and then I towered over her and all was right in the world :)
If you have a girl who is a little taller than you or about the same height you can choose the location well and just sit on the taller chair/bench/whatever

This is great advice, I would add for guys who cant get a good or great paying job right away, clean your damn apartment or house while you workout and do better, on the off chance you meet a "test women" in your path you can have some things that signal right away you have your shit together, also clean up your credit. I say test women cause there is always one that will come around to 'test" your resolve, especially when you physically improve Here are some other cheap easy and "quickish" ways to get more status and network quickly
1. Start a blog and update regularly with good photos and good word play.
2. Become the actual photographer and when there are events go to those events and mini blog on Instagram and Facebook.
3. Take up Archery, take pics good pics, even better when your in shape. Sleeveless shirts with the bow drawn...It works
4. Animals anything with animals is almost instant with women, I took a pic with a damn goat once and 3 chicks Dm'd on bumble based on that pic. They where 7 out of 10's no kids, in shape Hung out with all three still in casual contact with 2, Current Entanglement with that 3rd lol, Above all do it for you but there is nothing wrong with wanting to meet more women within that mindset.
