I see where you show the gap between the box and tail gate. How big is the gap at the front of the bed (nearest the cab)to the box? I have a custom head ache rack that sticks out about 2 inches from the front of bed. Hoping it would not interfere with this DECK system.
Haven’t overly run into an issue from that. Like him I’ve got a shell on mine and you won’t really notice it. It really would use it to store legit jacks, straps, cables etc in it. Sure you could get a bed tool box but then you’ll loose 1/3 of your truck length.
So I’m paying almost 2k for less bed depth and something that isn’t fully waterproof? And If I’m pulling a trailer that has a jack mounted on the front and I can’t get my bed down then I can’t even get into it lol
You're in it for a couple of hours, but you'll definitely want an extra set of hands to help streamline the assembly process and help lift it into the bed. We'd estimate 1.5 to 2.5 hours start to finish.

I helped my buddy put his in and it took a couple of hours. The hard part was putting the drawer rollers in.

Don’t buy it then? If it’s not something that’s going to aid you and your truck… just don’t buy it

Decked stuff is crap....Highway Products out of Oregon is far superior and will last a lot longer. Not plastic crap like Decked.
