James 3:1 "My brethren, be not many of you teachers, knowing that we shall receive greater condemnation.
Rafael Bandeira, it is interesting to note that "wrath" comes from the Greek word "orge", which can mean wrath. It can also mean desire (as a reaching forth or excitement of the mind), that is, (by analogy) violent passion.
@Leif Espedal Joh 3:36 KJV He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the WRATH ("orge" - teeming passion and swelling desire; mental bent and natural impulse) of God abideth on him. Don't listen to Rob Bell's nonsense, repent and trust in Jesus Christ for your forgiveness and eternal life.
@@400BadR3quest No, you don't understand what Paul said when he said, "For the wages of sin is death..." He was saying that the old covenant stated that sin = death. And that word "death" mean "condemnation." So Jesus became that death on the cross. Now that old covenant is satisfied and completed. When Jesus rose again, he established a new covenant of Grace. That's why Paul said "But the gift of God is eternal thru Jesus Christ our Lord." Paul also said, "For we are no longer under the law (sin equalling death) but we are under Grace (there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus). So essentially Paul was saying that "The wages of sin USED TO BE death until Jesus became that death on our behalf. Now the gift of God is eternal life thru that blood sacrifice of Jesus on the cross." Romans 3:24 "...And are justified BY HIS GRACE AS A GIFT, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Hebrews 10:12 "But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God." Hebrews 10:1-18 Jesus the Only True Sacrifice for Sin The blood of animals could not obtain redemption. However, by His death, Jesus Christ removed "the sins of many people." A permanent sacrifice for sin is needed to deal permanently with our sin problem. The Levitical sacrifices could not deal permanently with our sins; however the once-for-all perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross dealt with our sins permanently. There will never be a need for another sacrifice for sin. The blood of Jesus Christ wipes the record clean forever.

At the very least one of those left out books is said to be the words of Jesus himself written down! It was The Gospel Of Thomas. If there is a Bible that was not altered in any way aside from translations so that we could all read it and had nothing left out of it what would it be? I am sure that a lot of people would love to get their hands on that! I just know there is something like that out there somewhere.

A beautiful idea with a lot of truth in it. I think that those in Hell, even there can accept God's love. But I do think Jesus wants us to be strong in our faith in God now, on earth. I think Jesus warns us about not being a good person and rejecting his teaching. But God is a loving parent and always wants his children to come to love Him at any point. But God also really wants his children to make good choices and show their love and obediance in action.

@@joshbeard9809 So your definition of a loving God is of a God that fails to save his children from sin and then punishes those children eternally for his failings???? Either God saves us from sin or we save ourselves. The gospels are very clear that we cannot save ourselves...that it is God who saves us. Do you believe God will save some and not others? And then punish those he does not save? You may say to me....God has saved us but we have a choice......but if that is true, if the difference between a saved person and a condemned person is a choice made by those people, then our salvation is ultimately down to a choice we make.....therefore we would be saving ourselves. This is often what Christians think, that they have saved themselves by a choice they make to follow Jesus...pride. Even the disciples did not choose to follow Jesus but were chosen. Salvation is the work of God and Gods work is finished. You are saved, I am saved, All are saved. This is the good news.....not believe and you shall be saved but YOU ARE SAVED BELIEVE IT. There is judgement of sin but not of sinner. Sin is judged and sinner is forgiven. Those that reject God, reject the good news are those that do not yet know the truth, they have not come to know their salvation. St Paul is the perfect example, he rejected the gospel, persecuted Christians, and he did not repent.....and yet Jesus met him anyway, Jesus revealed himself to Paul. This caused a transformation in Paul, he came to know of salvation. The same is being done for all people. We all reject the truth until the truth is revealed to us, we are all sinners, we are all saved. May our Truly Awesome God Bless you my Brother.

I’ve been away from Evangelical Christianity for 30 years because of these ridiculous beliefs about heaven and hell. However, I love Jesus. I really do and do not want to displease him. What kind of a God tortures people for all eternity because they don’t sign on the dotted line at the bottom of a list of doctrinal points? They say it’s about your heart and not your mind. That you’re drawn by God’s love and a desire to be in right relationship to God. Yet, cognitive dissonance rules in this strange fuzzy logic!
Jesus talked more about Hell than anyone else in the entire Bible. “Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to it is easy, and there are many who travel it.” -Matthew 7:13 “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of God, who can destroy both body and soul in hell.” -Matthew 10:28 And of the Pharisees he said: “You snakes and children of snakes! How do you expect to escape from being condemned to hell?” -Matthew 23:33 These are just a few. The reality of Hell is plain from Jesus’ own mouth. How can you say you love him when you reject what he said?
Completely agree with you. It makes absolutely no sense at all that we never choose to exist in a universe where there is disease, natural disaster, war, famine, drought. Yet despite the fact that we never chose to come into existence if we believe the wrong thing about God we have to risk being eternally tormented for trillions of years makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and is definitionally repugnant.

Jesus doesn't send anyone to "hell" for not believing in Him. You send yourself there for rejecting Him as your substitute for sin, so you no one can cover your sin other than yourself. And in God's government, the wages of sin is death.
This guy apparently never read the verse in the Bible that says, "the path is wide that leads to eternal destruction and the way is narrow that leads to salvation". That salvation is through Jesus Christ, repent and receive Him as Lord and Savior as the Bible repeats over and over.
Best book I have ever read on the afterlife. Definitely controversial, but historical defensible and more important it presents God's plan of salvation as a true victory over sin and death as opposed to partial victory for a limited few.
A good God is just in all his ways. Just in the punishment of evil and merciful in taking that punishment upon himself. A gift to us. Not forced but handed, if we accept it.
I have just accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. I am shocked, though, to realize just how much Jesus spoke about hell in the Bible, and in such uncompromising terms of eternity, torment after death, of burning and judgement. His words seem to exclude the possibility of this being temporary, or metaphorical, or a psychological state within this life. How can universalism explain this away, without doubting the Bible or distorting it? I really wish I could. I hate the idea of hell, but I have to love Jesus as he is and was. On the other hand, the traditional doctrine that God sent his son to die on the cross as a sacrifice to save us from eternal damnation, seems not to add up on the balance sheet; after all, Jesus wasn't eternally damned- he died an excruciating death in this world, but even that didn't save many mere humans from still having to die our own excruciating deaths in this world. The mind boggles ! All I can do, though, is trust and pray, and believe in the merciful character of God, whatever we see in this world.
Seems backwards... Jesus was condemned in our place on the cross so that we can no longer be condemned for sin. So THAT ALONE is our salvation. And since faith comes by hearing the word of God, it seems that HEARING the fact that Jesus already saved you by his finished work on the cross, you accept the fact that he already saved you by his sacrifice in the cross. When you hear something, you accept it. But salvation isn't hinged on your works. Meaning that it isn't hinged on your actions. Believing isn't an action that you actively DO. It's a byproduct of HEARING what was already done for you. But if you hear bullshit, you won't believe it. Most ppl are preaching bullshit and no one wants to believe it. When the gospel (good news) is untainted and pure truth, then people will FLOCK to it. Why is no one flocking to it? Because it's been trained with conditions and fear. People live in sin because they haven't heard the untainted gospel. So they settle for a pain-killer called "sin." Trust me, everyone would drop their sin for Jesus' love if it wasn't tainted with lies in the bible because the bible has been edited. Remember that people followed Jesus into a fvcking desert for 3 days without food and water because the things he was saying was water to their soul. It was pure love and they wanted it. They were made for it. The sh!t that the churches of today preach isn't even good enough for ppl to want to drive 1 mile and sit in an air conditioned building for 2 hours lol. THE BIBLE HAS BEEN EDITED TO REFLECT FEAR AND CONDITIONAL LOVE. No one wants it
That's not the good news. The good news is that Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day. All that believe and trust in Him have everlasting life. 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 *Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.* Romans 5:6-9 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Hell is real friends. Repent of your sin. That's the truth. Sorry if it hurts your feelings. The Holy Spirit clashes with our flesh. Nobody wants to give up their sin that feels good but it's destroying your soul. The more you know Jesus the more you only desire Him and not the world. God doesn't have to rescue us from Himself, God is rescuing us from our well deserved punishment because there is evil in our hearts. Because the fall of man with Adam. This message is completely misleading even though it sounds good.
The Kingdom of Heaven is like a wedding banquet where many are invited but few choose to come. Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it, but small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
This makes so much sense. The Christian faith is a paradox. The ONLY way to heaven is accepting Christ? What happened to all of the people who lived and died before Christ existed? After Christ died, do they get pulled out of heaven and put in hell? Just because of when they happened to live and die? What about the people who lived on other continents while Christ was alive and after he died? How would they have ever know about this local cult religion? It's all fake, it's all a lie.
Actually, before Christ died, it says God essentially gave the OT saints (not pagans) a loan of righteousness until Christ came and paid the full price. they believed God according to what had been revealed at that time and were preserved unto salvation. everything comes back to faith, to love God and love each other. Christ is the atoning sacrifice for sin. Love wins but without God there is no love. Thus the highest act of love is Christ to give Himself for us to atone for our sins. It's interesting because we live in a society that expects justice. If there is someone who commits a crime, you would expect he or she pays the price. Yet when it comes to God, we say, God has no right to justice and to judge righteously. We want full rights but say God has no rights. When you think about it, the fact Christ would pay the debt for our sin is very generous. From a divine standpoint God could have left you but brought the gospel message to you. The fact God steps into our situation and offers eternal life shows God loves us. Hebrews says Jesus endured the suffering of the cross with joy, not because He enjoyed the pain, but because He knew it was the only way to provide salvation for the world and a bring people home to God. The answer is believe in Jesus and repent, and you shall be saved. Revelation 20:15 says anyone whose name is not written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire. As Jesus said, if only you knew the time and the One who gives you peace, The truth will either be hidden from your eyes or revealed to your heart. May God open the eyes of your heart. Actually Jesus spoke about hell. He came to bring salvation and to offer forgiveness for all sins. That is good news. God created hell for the devil and his demons but he has once again subtly deceived many to follow him. The devil is the father of lies. If Satan could preach today, it would sound like Rob Bell. Satan is a master salesman, the best lie is 99% true. Christ is love, and Christ won on the Cross. Discredit that fact and you loose.
Rob, according to scripture, whoever does not repent of their sinful nature and confesses the name of Jesus as Lord and saviour will ultimately be rejected by God and be sent to hell. As uncomfortable as that may seem to many, that is what the Word of God says. So also that Word is Jesus Christ, God from before time, who upholds the universe. To play into the emotion of a modern understanding of love and "good people" rejects the truth and authority of scripture. The modern understanding of love and how you are using it here does not align with the biblical truth of love. We all fall short of the glory of God, we all have sinned (including Ghandi yes) and we all need a saviour, of which there is only one, who has clearly made His requirements, His way, The Truth, clear. Your errancy regarding teaching saying "Jesus rescues you from God" is quite elementary doctrine and the questions you ask have quite simple answers in His Word. Jesus is the mediator between us and a righteous Holy Father. Our sin separates us from Him. We cannot exist in His presence unclean. And so if we do not trust in the blood of Jesus to cover our inequities and have Him intercede for us, we will be eternally separated from the Father, also known as hell.

He doesn’t embrace universalism. He embraces annihilationism. He rejects hell. I’m not a Christian, but even after one semester in college theology, you’d be either stubborn or blind to believe that the Dante idea of hell exists. It’s literally a medieval ideal, that people can’t seem to shake because of either fear, or conditioning. Christians perpetually refuse to learn the proper scripture, which is far from The King James garbage you find in a hotel nightstand drawer. Countless doctrines deformed by the butchering of translations. I’m not saying Rob Bell has all the answers, but to keep clinging to the same schemes (when it comes to anything) is the characteristic of someone who is too hard-headed to accept anything other than what he learned growing up. From parents who are even more blind and stubborn. It’s the 21st century, with a vast archive of easily accessible information at your disposal. You can literally type in “proving hell isn’t real” into a google search bar, and find legitimately sourced information and proper translations to reinforce it. In a matter of seconds.

@@400BadR3quest No, you don't understand what Paul said when he said, "For the wages of sin is death..."
He was saying that the old covenant stated that sin = death. And that word "death" mean "condemnation."
So Jesus became that death on the cross.
Now the gift of God is eternal life thru that blood sacrifice of Jesus on the cross."
Romans 3:24 "...And are justified BY HIS GRACE AS A GIFT, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

Hebrews 10:1-18 Jesus the Only True Sacrifice for Sin
The blood of animals could not obtain redemption. However, by His death, Jesus Christ removed "the sins of many people."
A permanent sacrifice for sin is needed to deal permanently with our sin problem. The Levitical sacrifices could not deal permanently with our sins; however the once-for-all perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross dealt with our sins permanently. There will never be a need for another sacrifice for sin. The blood of Jesus Christ wipes the record clean forever.

....what do those verses have to do with the doctrine of eternal hell, exactly?
A beautiful idea with a lot of truth in it. I think that those in Hell, even there can accept God's love. But I do think Jesus wants us to be strong in our faith in God now, on earth. I think Jesus warns us about not being a good person and rejecting his teaching. But God is a loving parent and always wants his children to come to love Him at any point. But God also really wants his children to make good choices and show their love and obediance in action.

That you’re drawn by God’s love and a desire to be in right relationship to God. Yet, cognitive dissonance rules in this strange fuzzy logic!
Jesus talked more about Hell than anyone else in the entire Bible.
“Go in through the narrow gate, because the gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to it is easy, and there are many who travel it.”
-Matthew 7:13
“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of God, who can destroy both body and soul in hell.”
-Matthew 10:28
And of the Pharisees he said:
“You snakes and children of snakes! How do you expect to escape from being condemned to hell?”
-Matthew 23:33
These are just a few. The reality of Hell is plain from Jesus’ own mouth. How can you say you love him when you reject what he said?
Completely agree with you. It makes absolutely no sense at all that we never choose to exist in a universe where there is disease, natural disaster, war, famine, drought.

One where there is no Hell and God doesn't judge sin. This is idolatry. If God doesn't judge sin and the sinner and evil don't go to Hell. Then God does not love.
Love Wins! Jesus Christ is Love. (Heb 1:3 & 1 John 4:8)
God acts as the Supreme Father. I discipline my children because I love them. How much greater is his love. And then to sacrifice his son. Someone is looking for an escape hatch in Hell. Sorry, get right with Jesus. Everyone wants heaven, but don't want to repent
THIS IS AWESOME! This guy GETS IT. He holds the key to stopping the droves of people fleeing churches these days. LOVE, not FEAR, is the way to bring people around to the nature of God -- whoever that is. Please share this.
"Jesus rescues you from God." Priceless.
Most of these comments are from ppl who didn't care to, or have the means for an education. The church loves to keep ppl in the dark. If they started thinking for themselves, the church would be in decline and it is. FEAR is powerful and controls the weak minded. Anyone who believes in talking snakes, will believe in anything immoral and wicked. FDR, which most of you probably don't know, once said' "there's nothing to fear but fear itself." Wake up people. Stop fearing nonsense and enjoy the life in which your God gave you, rather than to wish it away by hoping the earth will end soon. Now that's DARK an evil.
Evangelicals LOVE fear. Most of them voted for Trump: the father of lies and fear. He scared them into voting! Yet, he's the antithesis of Christ. Go figure.
Thank you!! Finally someone clicking on a video to enjoy it and not bash everyone who agrees with Rob
May God bless you and your awesome ministry!! I am proud to support your ministry in prayer. Back in the day I was a missionary for 2 1/2 years and been a Christian for 40 years now and could never understand how organized religion could portray the character of God in such an awful way. I love your teachings and believe their spot on to what the Bible teaches and that God is truly love and wants to see ALL men and women saved. If not in this life then the next. I’m very blessed to be saved in this life and have the opportunity to be one of the first fruits and enjoy all the blessings and benefits that my relationship with Jesus gives. Whenever I hear the hellfire and brimstone message From other well meaning Christian teachers I always cringe and I think it does more to turn unbelievers away then almost anything my personal opinion. It gives me more passion to try to witness to people and help them get saved in this life then the horrible: “you must be saved in this life or suffer of the hellfire and brimstone eternal consequences” message! Anyways I could go on and on.... Again may the Lord mightily bless your message and ministry Rob and happy Easter!
Farewell Rob Bell.
To deny hell is to deny God's absolute holiness and our absolute sinfulness. Sorry to say, but Bell is a heretic.
newbirth35 what is hell exactly? How sure are you about your answer?
intresting perspective
A perspective that is NOT Biblical
These are beautiful lies
God is Love and Wrath. Mr. Bell has no concept of Sovereignty.
@@Hellohellohello803 Read Revelation
@@steveradanovich4962 your misunderstanding of revelation has no bearing here
All I gotta say is be careful with the false teachers..... read and gain wisdom ask God questions. Also, it is very easy to read the word of God and take it out of context.
Revelation 20:11-15 MEV
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. From His face the earth and the heavens fled away, and no place was found for them. [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. Books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to their works as recorded in the books. [13] The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one by his works. [14] Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:7-8 MEV
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. [8] But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the abominable, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars shall have their portion in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone. This is the second death."
Funny he’s asking questions that as a pastor he should know and teach. 🤷♂️
Matthew 22:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
A HOLY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When did Rob decide Jesus was a liar?
Love wins 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. " faith , hope and love , but the greatest of these is love " . Amen !!!!! 💓🙏💕💞🙏💖💓

@@slfudct Loving acts don't send people to Heaven. It through Jesus sacrifice on the cross and His work in one's heart where the person then accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jesus is the way God. Not loving acts.
Far as conflicts in doctrine. It is one thing where their is a difference of opinions on minor points. But when it comes to core doctrines that people like Rob Bell rejects and teaches what is false. We are commanded to oppose and expose any argument that is raise against God and bring it into the light.
Lastly, whether they are "words" of Jesus, Paul, or Moses. They are all words of God and the whole Bible is equal. None are more important. They all were inspired by God. Jesus Himself even used words of the O.T. to communicate God's truths.
@@slfudct My opinion is supported with the word of God and believed by every single Apologist who adheres to Biblical Christianity and worships the one triune God.
Yours apparently is based on feelings, culture norms, and the false teachings of people like Rob Bell who are leading people to hell because they avoid talking about sin and hell according to the Bible. "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions" 2 Tim 4:3
May God heal and set you free from deception of these teachers who preach a Christless Christianity that is devoid of Christ's Deity and reject hell and God's judgment on sin. God bless and have a Merry Christmas.
1:00 all these questions!! Show that this man doesn't read his bible.... Because if he DID... then he would know that yes God is love.... But he is also a judge... And he will judge us on how we lived! 🙏Read ur books ppl...!!!!
This guy has never even read a bible before. All of his questions would be answered if he cracked one open every once in awhile
And you don't even know who the hell this guy is, you look just as stupid as your claiming this guy to be.
Jesus saves you from God? No. He saves you from your flesh because Your flesh would choose Hell. Choosing Jesus means you do not choose Hell.
He loves you. amen.
Psalms 69:29
But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
Acts 5:31
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
2 Corinthians 7:10
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Love is the blood of the Cross, which Rob Bell denies. Rob Bell is not a Christian.
Actually Jesus spoke about hell. He came to bring salvation and to offer forgiveness for all sins. That is good news. God created hell for the devil and his demons but he has once again subtly deceived many to follow him. The devil is the father of lies.
Matthew 25:41
King James Version
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Q: Gandhis in hell? He is?
A: YES!
Yikes
This video is the example of biblical truth abandon!
“Ghandis in hell?”
This guy speaks nothing but heresy.
You didnt understand the gospel at all.
@@lamillaextraargentina9579 Hi Pedro. Do you mind explaining to me how you have come to that conclusion? What about my statement do you not agree with? And so, what then does the real gospel according to your view say?
Blasphemy!
Jithin Mathew Abraham yeah it’s super blasphemous to believe in love
This is blasphemy
Absolute rubbish -
This wicked man has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Avoid him like the plague.

Book sales and Heresy!

Cynthia Kelly He envisions and embraces universalism which, unfortunately, is heresy against the Gospel if Jesus Christ.
of*
He doesn’t embrace universalism.
Deceived, deceived, deceived Rob.
Wait this guy teaches the Bible lol
Nah
Haha... Can't see it
He thinks he does lol. I pray for the people that listen to him.
Rob bell why you a weirdo.
Woke universalism
