Thanks to Lawrence & Elsha for sharing this. I recently joined the programme and have started my victim to hero mindset shift. Lawrence sharing his experience really helped demonstrate the perfect product illusion and the problems this can cause in a marriage. I've absolutely embodied this victim mindset in the past. Humbling down and I'm grateful for the lesson. I’m only on P1 M2, but I’m already starting to feel the benefit in regards to the way I think and reinterpret past events. Thank you so much Geoffrey for your programme from across the pond in England, UK.
This is my favorite one so far with couple. I am in the program and like to watch these in between practicing the Dpp and filling up the MM. ❤
I haven't got in a position where I felt like if I was in their position that I'd do the same because I've never been the one to end things. I can understand why she is ending things and hear and understand and empathize, even sympathize with her decision. With kids involved I don't want them to get hurt or at a disadvantage and even before having kids I don't think there was a thing that she could have done to make me end our relationship. Untethering and stopping trying to apply logic to emotions has been my biggest struggle. Now that she's started seeing other people while we still live together she's accelerated from saying she didn't have someone else and wouldn't have someone else while we lived together and saying she wanted a clean break and didn't want to financially ruin me to now telling people she's selling our house, child support and who knows what else. I've managed to keep my cool as far as not speaking badly about her to or in front of the kids and try to impress the attitude of gratitude with the kids. I'm hurt and I'm broken and these stories help me. Hell even one of her best friends is getting back together with their ex husband a while after they divorced and while I had hoped that happening for her friend that she holds in such high regard would have triggered her to reconsider reconsiliation it didn't have that affect. Instead is been confirmation bias seaking which I see that I do the same with me wanting to see and know how people were able to reconcile their relationship. I know whatever happens won't be easy and I desperately need to figure out for myself how to wear my bpv and truly become untethered from the outcome.
I am not in your situation yet, as far as I know she is seeing other people but not to get into relationships in that sence. How is it going for you, if I may ask? And, if I may ask, do you have any tips along the line of what Geoffrey is recomending?

To do absolutely anything and go through the internal changes to save my marriage and be a family again understand the untethered part, I've made notes of all your videos everything you have available but I just want to know more in depth the science to transforming from the inside out. I hope I make that 10%

This is so fucked up. I was just playing this scenarios in my head about different people and actually the Will Smith really popped up. And watching this video that is a year old and Geoffrey mentioning it blev my mind. Is he in my head like wtf!
This sucks I doing the hard work but I can't completely just give in that Ive wanted to leave too but Ive always loved my wife but I was living her her shadow so I didn't feel safe expressing...I did everything wrong, praying I get this right and win my partner back !
Your videos are very encouraging, Geoffrey. But my situation is really unique. She broke up with me even though i created some emotional safety and she told me that the problem is not about me and she is in love with another guy. Now am blocked from everywhere even though i didn't sent any messages, and i have zero contact. How can such a unique case be saved? Its just impossible.

one thing men need to understand is: alpha men are not those who can blame someone, shut the door and never look back. thats exactly the opposite of alpha. real alphas are able of controlling their emotions and facing their fears. choose light and love instead of hate and darkness.
