Would really love to hear more of his story of the process of how his relationship reconciled. Would like to hear so many more details on how him implementing the skills he learned in the program (5 step blueprint for example) directly affected his partner and how she reacted to his growth and overall a timeline of the entire process from rock bottom to where he is now.

    40:33. Geoffrey,
one of the reasons he settled for book learning as that there really wasn't anything else out there. Before you came along and changed everything.
    Thank you for your work

this is amazing. out of all coaches on youtube i saw in the past years, the youngest looking and the one that i turned down at first finally has the most value of all of them.

1:45:00 is a good point. Marriage Helper talks about the "pull" vs the "push". But you shouldn't need the pull behaviors.
Your changes should speak for themselves. You don't need scripts to say hey look at me and my changes.
    Actions soeak louder than words

I was really interested in the partner being angry part.
I am trying to figure out how I should have behaved in a particular situation.
My wife (who is planning a divorce) got furious about four weeks ago, when she noticed some scratches on the coffee table. She really gave it to the kids, who are careless with their computers and stuff there. A couple of days later, she calmed down and was able to fix it with some mineral oil and beeswax. Last night, same thing: another big scratch. She almost exploded, and wandered around the house bouncing from anger to despondency to sadness back to anger to resignation to … everything.
I do not say this to blame her. My own decision at the time was not to engage. I left her alone and made sure that I was ready to whisk the kids away if she started screaming at them. But … I honestly do not know …. Is there some way I could have handled this better?

I’m at the point where my ex of 4 months is telling me she has learnt from previous relationships to not give any chances, she’s lost feelings & knows she won’t get them back & she knows what she wants & it’s not me. She refuses to talk as she said there is no point because she’s lost the feelings. & tells me to change for the next person. I’ve tried to show her my changes & change of mindset. Not being defensive, & see issues as an opportunity now to fix them. & not playing the victim. I’ve told her that I’m going to continue to work on myself for me because I want to make someone an amazing partner & have an amazing relationship, & that I hope that in time she will see my changes & see that I am the only man for her. I’m just struggling to see how I can ask questions when she’s telling me the reasons she doesn’t want to try is because she knows she’s lost feelings & wont get them back.

seems like we have the exact same situation... even the 4 months. What ive been doing is giving all my worries and desires to God and trusting that he will restore in due time what was lost whether that be the ex or a new woman that we find a type of love with where we forget our heart was ever broken.
      Praying for you my brother!

If I admit the problem is me then I can fix it! if I continue to play the victim then I dont have to do anything.
I am taking atleast 100% responsibility for my 50%...
