$69 Craftsman V20 Leaf Blower from Lowes | CMCBL70001

- On Black Friday I purchased a Craftsman Axial Blower for $69. Model number CMCBL70001. This leaf blower comes with a Craftsman V20 2ah battery that's part of the V20 Max line that powers all the current Craftsman battery operated tools.
I found the quality of the blower and design to be nice, especially for the low sale price. Speaking of price, retail pricing is $99, but I've seen this regularly on sale for $89 in the 6-months I've been considering the purchase.
Performance: that's definitely light duty. The 90mph and 340CFM output works well on leaves, but the run time limits with the 2ah battery will keep this out of favor for those that need lots of power and runtime. Think a blower for dry leaves on a driveway or sidewalk vs trying to tackle wet leaves on a yard.

This is best and easy to understand guide line, instructions to assemble and use Craftsman V20 Leaf Blower. Thank you very much
I really liked your great review! I just bought the leaf blower this past weekend and I'm looking forward to using it.
We just bought one today, but we use it to air dry high end cars after a detail. More than enough power and gets the job done. 😎
Interesting use 👍
👍🏼☀️😀
looks great and awesome. i like it
awesome video ty you for sharing going get one to blow light leaf and debri outside and in my gararage thats all i need
I just purchased this product. I only need it for very small jobs like blowing leaves off my front stoop that ultimately end up inside. I also will use for blowing out trash and debris out of my garage, in corners and sides, my garage is too large to manually sweep. So, based on your review, I can’t wait to use it. One really con. To this product is that it is super light for me to handle as a “seasoned “ adult. Got rid of that gas powered one!
Worth it, cant wait to see the 4ah video
still waiting or its already out?
With my 40v Ryobi lawnmower I got a free leaf blower with it. I could see how a smaller battery would be nice. The 40v 4ah gets heavy after a bit. And curse you .....I thought it was your other channel lol!
Thanks
I got a combo kit w the blower and trimmer for 100.00 cant beat it it is a great price, tool
Where
I purchased the 9 amp hour battery since I use craftsman weed eater as well. Good lord, the battery last forever with that blower.
Works good for me . I bought it with the combo trimmer. An some extra batteries. 129 dollars
Now $59
@@joshygrero9720 not with a weed eater and 2x2Mah batteries.
The tool might be $60, but do are the 2Mah batteries lol
Which trimmer? Sounds like that was a great deal 👍
I have so many of the 4MA batteries I can "blow" for a couple hours
It'll work perfect for drying off your mountain bike after you wash it.
DAMN! I live in a city, but have a corner house and it takes me a good 1/2 hour to leaf-blow. 6 minutes isn't enough for a city house!
There are things where battery operation is doable. This is not one of them, IMHO.
I need to get one.. I need to dry my car :)
nice
Get the 9amp or 6amp battery
6 minutes?!?!? I’m not sure that I could blow all my grass clippings from the sidewalk and driveway in that amount of time.
That 2aH battery must be like the starter ink pack that comes with a new printer. Just enough to tick you off! 😂🤣
6 minutes?!?!?
Yes, just attempted to use it and I am already pissed off. I hope the 4ah battery makes it at least usable.
😆
its garbage. i returned it and bought a gas blower
Hi, thank you for this video, would the 6.0 Ah batteries work on this blower?
Yes. Even the 9Ah V20 battery will work
I just recently got one of these because my neighbor doesn't keep his place well lit or lock his garage at night. Was hoping for the bigger battery but got the 2AH with charger, among other stuff I needed more than he did. This thing blows just enough to dry my balls after a shower, no butthole just balls, with the 2ah battery. So unless you got really tiny nuts, like a wet butthole or enjoy being irritated. Get the bigger batteries. So i returned the piece a crap with a note tellin my neighbor that he had better get some 4 and 6 amp hour batteries if he ever wants to see his table saw or lawn gnomes again. Will update with my final review after I'm done with this jail stint. Cops just surrounded my house. They're yelling a me to come out, saying they know I'm the cat burglar the people in my neighborhood call the dirtbag bandit. Confused because I have never stolen a cat before in my life ...
So would this be great for that every fall blow off for just a homeowner?
It can be used for other uses, such as cleaning gutters, cleaning the porches and even cleaning cars
I bought weed eater and blower combo the blower kills batter after like 5 min prob need 4 amph battery instead of 2amp
exactly my problem. 5 mins on a fully charged battery, i returned it the same day and bought a gas blower
Any updates on the 4.0ah batteries? I just got into the v20 line this xmas and was wondering if i should get the 2-pack. Also, I didn't know you had a review channel! I'm a long-time subscriber to your bicycle channel and I'm now going through your videos. Great job!
Thanks. Yes. I filmed a video on this blower with the 4ah and never uploaded it. The runtime almost to the second was double that of the 2ah - which surprised me. They also now have 6ah and 9ah batteries, but they’re priced beyond reason currently.
Just got this for Xmas as well.. attempted to blow out my garage. The low setting left a lot to be desired. Using the high setting is almost necessary, but with the included 2ah battery it becomes frustrating, lol. I will definitely be purchasing the 4ah batteries.
I was able to get 9ah battery from eBay for $69 new… just have to wait for the deals. Lasts me a long time one one charge
@@jasonreed7608 thanks for that comment/ review/ info 👍😊
To get the run time on 2ah down to 6 minutes that thing's gotta be using like 12+ amps. The BMS won't let it go to 0% so you're limited to about 90% of stated capacity.
They should've sold it with a 4ah battery in my opinion to at least make it moderately practical.
Are there any other brand 20v batteries that will work with this blower?
A 6-AH battery is ideal.
What ever happened to you reviewing the V20 cordless stick vacuum?
Interesting timing as that will be coming soon after I finish a few new modifications to the bike barn
Is that a total of 6 minutes?
Can you leave the battery on the charger (plugged into outlet) between uses?
I asked craftsman this very question and they said yes
Would you say it would be decent for drying cars?
As long as you kept the nozzle far enough away to not accidentally bump the finish.
I got the trimmer blower combo and it came with a 6-7 inch metal rod....any idea what the rod is for??
Edit: I’m not sure, but it certainly wouldn’t be from the blower. Maybe a part for the string trimmer?
KevReviews I believe it was placed in the box opposed to the flower guard. It wasn’t there but that 6-8” rod was. The guard I seen in store was not silver. Not really a big deal.... hey I still haven’t used it yet but got batteries all charged up but do I make the string come out like on traditional trimmer by bumping it on the ground?
anyone tried using this while on roller skates?
I recently purchased this, however, it keeps or pausing/shutting off. Any idea as to why this is happening?
You have to make sure the battery is fully charged.
Mine shuts off after a few seconds when the battery is depleted, so the other commenter may be correct.
UPDATE: I ended up returning it and got a new one. I let it charge for more than 4 hours and the same thing happened. So I returned it again.
How long were you able to run it before it shut off?
@@kev-reviews The battery gets hot and shuts off.after a half hour?
Does a bigger battery help with the auto turn off? this is a very annoying feature
Are you referring to it turning off when the battery voltage drops? A larger battery does increase the runtime
@@kev-reviews feel like it auto turns off after 5 mins of use
I have a 2ah hour battery and it takes forever to charge.
Mine can take a couple of hours if they’re depleted
Nothing is wrong this blower, battery life is not good. Make sure you have a extra battery cause you will need it
wo 69% its like 150$ now
It's on sale at Lowe's for 99.00
On high, it dies after about 10 minutes
Ended up using the motor out blower to power an old tired and worn out battery blaster red rocket model 69G. The original motor wore out it's brushes but this one being brushless is much more efficient. My woman says she don't need me anymore because she now has The Turbo Tickle 1000. Should I turn her into the neighborhood watch for possession of stolen goods or just swap her out to the original 2ah batt? I figure then she'll need me again due to the thing being useless as tits on a boar hog with that stock orignal battery. I dont care what you use it on.i😂
i bought this, the fully charged battery lasted 5 mins, i timed it. i returned this piece of garbage the very same day. stay away from it
