OMG the "copy scene to playhead" ... I nearly jizzed! so good!
As usual, showed exactly what I needed! Your tuts are brilliant!
Thanks for the simplified explanation that is easy to follow! I watched a couple of other videos and was totally lost until I watched this! No one explained the "copy scene to playhead function" that is totally necessary to use this awesome tool. Thanks :)
Could you please do a video on how you’d use logic live loops like a guitar pedal looper with a midi foot pedal?
You ever found a video like that ?
you da best! thanks for all your efforts man you've got a real knack for simplifying the seemingly complicated
Just what the Dr ordered. You're the best Josh. I opened Live Loops when it came out and quickly lost my way. Your tutorial awoke the giant within. Just for basic arrangements and structure, I can see how this saves hours of time. Looking forward to more. David (President of 'The Music Tech Guy Fan Club of Switzerland).
Thanks Josh, the sign of a great tutor is making things simple> you've done that so well here. Its sheer joy to follow you all the way on this tutorial and benefit 100 percent. God bless your shoes mate!
i've been looking for this for a long time! thank you!
VERY good tutorial! You explain content extremely well and make it very applicable. Please continue!!
Thanks Josh, I've struggled with this feature since it came out - all makes sense now and really useful for the kind of music I make!
Thanks Josh, for another thorough video about Live Loops!
Excellent video. You explained these features really well. I'm going to use this as a technique to work on my live looping arrangements for when I'm performing with my RC 600. Thanks for posting!
Superb presentation. Clear, precise and most helpful. Thank you.
Made a track in two sittings, with the help of this video. Thank you! It’s going out tomorrow.
if only every instructional youtube video was as clear and console as this, we’d all be geniuses. THANK YOU!
Thank you so much! Always so straightforward and useful.😊
Awesome video! Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Your video is so helpful and make everything so easy to understand. Thank you so much.😊
This was EXTREMELY helpful. Thank you!
Been trying to wrap my head around Live Loops, the built-in tutorial leaves a lot to be desired. This made it so clear and concise! A million thanks! Subbed!
Excellent tutorial like always! thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial on Live Loops on Logic Pro X. It helped me to know how to compose music from using them. 🙂
You are an excellent teacher and by far the best explainer of Logic Pro X. I appreciate your ability to explain and follow easily
Excellent video. Full of good ideas clearly explained.
Exactly What I needed !!! Thank you
Great introduction - thank you.
Awesome video. Great explanation
This is really helpful! Thanks man! 🤠
Thanks for all this information, great video tutorial!
I’ve been waiting for this one
Great help! Thanks so much!
Am I the only one performs in Live Loops? I have mapped an Opt - Ctrl - Cmmd + my numeric keypad for Play selected scene, Play next scene, Stop all cells, all the views, zooms, etc. I got a couple videos in my channel if you're interested, also Logic remote helps a lot when performing!
I DID have to BiP and freeze a couple things, have a 2015 laptop, so yeah, less power, but I did my first gig a month ago and it was a blast!
Thanks so much. This has really helped me. I’m a beginner with Live Loops 💙

Thanks buddy. It is really helpful.
Cool video tutorial that gave me an idea how to use Live Loops. I don’t know if I use them at all, but I‘ll see after having watched the full tutorial which you gave me a link in an answer of yours. Thanks very much! 👍🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
Meanwhile I found out that the other link leads to MacPro-videos. Well I‘ve got quite a few videos of yours from macprovideos.
This is awesome, thank you 🙏
Helpful. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!!🔥
I don’t know anything this well. Good jerb!
very good tutorial, love ur work always.. very deep and useful. a video which explains more live loops workflow for real world work like orchestral, percussion work, would be great.
Great video
Excellent.
To use liveloop usefully I really need logicpro videos like this everyday. . . . .
This is so helpful. Th so you so much.
Thank you so much!!!!

Thank you!
Wow... as always!
Super helpful.
thanks for the cell loop inspector tip
super useful, ty
Muchas gracias!
Thanks!
👍🏽 good video.
nice thank you
BIG THANK U
Thank you~
Thank you. Excellent intro to Live Loops. I wonder how exactly this differs from Ableton Live's Session View/Clip thingy. I was hoping to comp vocals and guitars in Live Loops as well, but it doesn't seem like the best workflow. I'm wondering if Live is better suited.
It would be nice to have a video combining Live Loops and the new Session Players (drummer for example). This is so good for guitar/bass/keyboard players looking to jam.
Love the way you teach 👍🏽👍🏽- Can an existing song turned into loops? Can you do a video about that? Cliffi
EXCELLENT , CHEERS , SUBBED . 👍
Great stuff as always. Do each of the loop scenes have to be the same number of bars?
Gems!
Thank you. This is great.
How can I set up a Kizomba song with this?
Should I look for Kizomba instrument loops and import them?
Thanks for a great tutorial! Is there a quick way to midi map to a controller? I have Looptimus pedal and a FaderFox controller. Thanks!
You're just a nice person 🙂
This reminds me of Maschine workflow. I think they should develop this for live use or incorporate it with mainstage.
You can do very complex fast shifting arrangements. I'd love a video on the launchpad series. I've been struggling with Pro X 10.5.1 and a launchpad mk2 ..and a launch pad pro. when i have had either one of them working ..the pads crash like crazy ..totally unusable.
Big love ...simply the best.
In 10.6 they added support for the launchpad as a control surface. I have both a launchpad pro and a launchpad X and both of them are just plug and play in Logic 10.6 and later. And all of the controls automatically map for live loops.
讚讚讚 👍
Awwww man those 70's toms are the best. lol
Hey! SO Helpful + Concise. Thank youuu. I know you said at the end that loops is not made for live performance, but what would you use if you were going to do a loop based performance?
A stand alone looper or Ableton. But looping live in real time can be a trick. Theres little margin for error if you’re looping tash sultana style. You might consider setting up a backing track depending on your skills with a looper.
👍 merci….
Hey @ musictechhelpguy! Big thank you! I'm curious if these features work for live performance on ipad?
How can I enable the snap feature to appear on my bar like you have. Is not showing on my logic and i’ve been trying to enable it. Thanks again
Great tutorial. Can you recommend a good keyboard controller that's premapped for Logic Pro?
I'm ready for that Logic Pro X start to finish 301.
Great video! Question... is it possible to just let the loops run while I solo over them for as long as I want? Yes this would be more like session view in Ableton. Sometimes I want to do that while I work out solo ideas and I don't know in advance how many bars it's going to be. Thanks!
hi do you know if there is away to set the same configuration for all cells?
When we performing live loop it this possible to record multi cell in same time, some as guitar and vocal at the same time??
