love your channel keep it up. don’t ever leave sc2 either. you can do other esport topics too but you know yourself the nicest to watch is sc2
I remember the last game (10 years, already?!) quite well... Life made shitload of small mistakes, mostly with widow mines that were tactically spread around counter-attack routes, which Life didn't care to clean. That resulted in huge losses that bled him into surrender.
He might have thrown the game on purpose.
I mean how is it even possible not to love this game? Absolute masterpiece!
Thanks for the vid! The game is a little darker than usual tho, so even with my phone brightness turned up, the scenes are still difficult to follow
Yeah, it's the only footage I could find, so the final map in Life vs Sjow is a bit hard to watch :(
I feel like most older tournament footage is super dark, probly nothing he could do about it
A lot of tournaments used to try cinematic gamma settings to make the game look "more HDR" in the early days. A lot of MLG streams from the old days have horrible contrast as a result. Afaik no one is doing this for a long time tho
I actually enjoyed this one even more than Soulkey's. Maybe because it was one single triumph.
I quite like your content!
So niche.
This reminds me of Maplez almost beating cure but then throwing the final game from a won position. Though i dont think it was nearly as big a tournament.
Holy shit you just BLASTED me with nostalgia chills
I recall Life also losing vs a low apm protoss player. I forget who, it was a european
The biggest upset I saw was Goody beating Nestea with bio. Goody playing bio is like Bly playing standard; it does not happen.
Holy shit i remember this game
Thanks, I stopped watching from 2013/2019 so I missed lot of stories lol
Even with low APM strategy still wins!
Matchmaking?
game with match fixers don't count.
second
life threw that game
You dont know shit bro
The big money matchfixing was in the Korean scene. While matchfixing offers still happen for foreign tournaments, considering the likely low amount of money and how matchfixing didn't start getting reported until 2014, I'm incredibly doubtful.
Additionally, unlike Korean tournaments where the match is advertised well ahead of time so the fixing can be set up easily, this was a weekend tournament. There's no way betting was fixed for this match, they would have had a mere matter of hours to set it up, during a timezone when Koreans should be sleeping. I find it doubtful if any bets were even open for this match given how short notice it was.
first
Imagine protoss winning like this, lmao, outrage would've been unprecedented umong zerg and even terrans
Always terran. Wheres the upset ?
