Insane multitasking in that first game. Absolute insanity, I love this small moments eg. that he finds time and brain capacity to build that turret @17:15 while still attacking everywhere ....

I have some ideas for challenges, some of them may be stupid:
- A challenge were you place your nexus or whatever it is in a slightly wrong location which makes it non optimal for gathering resources.
Similar to the disadvantage you get with bongcloud.
- A challenge where you tell your opponent what your strategy will be maybe as soon as the game starts or after a few minutes.
- A 2v2 challenge where you only build widowmines(or some cloak unit) and fill the map with them, and your ally is in charge of destroying any detection system. Can a raven prevent a planetary from scanning? I don't know.
- A only rockets challenge where you can only build cyclone, banshee, turrets, etc. Maybe it's too easy? I thought the same can be done for lasers and protoss.

Planetary doesn’t scan, I think you meant orbital. The disrupting ability that ravens have only target units I think, but you could have a Zerg player with overseers contaminating the orbitals to disable scans

You can EMP orbitals. Remove energy so no scans
Another great episode! Might be worth watching HeroMarine's "Cyclone Only" twitch stream from circa 1 November. At about 30min there is the game he plays u, then after he has some really cool games doing fast cyclone drops where he wrecks some 5k terrans & zergs. Terran dropping on tanks & wrecking mineral lines, jumping between natural and main; zerg he drops, snipes queens & ovies, picks off drones, boosting out and dropping all over the show. Some really cool plays - shows the strat has a lot of outplay potential of the kind u thrive on. I think if you're looking for a new challenge ideas, cyclone only has a lot of potential given the unit's rework. HM shows its viable up to at least low 5ks including vs terran.
It takes a long time to max out on cyclones, which HM has commented on, but they are also very supply efficient (2 same as a hellion), so u can eventually amass a large army. Incidentally, it's also why HM seems kinda passive in the game he played u a day or so ago, he was confident he was way ahead economically so he just macroed hard to try to max out. Watching it from his pov as well as yours, sadly it was a bit less close than I think u thought it was at the time (myself included). He was still on 188 supply after he took out your 3rd & 4th & lost those offensive armies. But was a fantastically entertaining game. HM said he enjoyed it also.
Also, have you thought of a "macro cheese" series?

First of all, I want to say that you are the starcraft player I enjoy watching the most!
I want to offer you a new Grandmaster challenge. No scout at all to Grandmaster! The only time you are allowed to move with troops from your base is only when you intend to attack the opponent's base. You will only do the scout when you attack the base.
Of course this also means no scans.
That wouldn't work unless he'd cheese every game, and he already did all the cheese challenges. Being a macro GM = scouting. You'd just lose in the army comp sense if you're not scouting

I will clarify what I mean.
Many players (I am among them) lack the macro skills that the professional players have. For me doing a scout necessarily means sacrificing my progress in building my forces. So apart from doing a close scout (in the main, in the natural and in the third), I just react to what the opponent is doing and in the meantime I try to defend as best I can. I usually only time my attacks after the opponent has taken a lot of losses trying to get to me.
The ability to understand what your opponent is doing without checking their base is an ability that requires a very deep understanding of the game, something I still don't have.
So for me to see such a challenge will be very helpful and instructive.
So to avoid cheese situations, it is allowed to scout only the first three base positions. (Maybe 2 more if you think it's necessary).

A lot of people played mass cyclone in the challenge games. Nice to see it from the POV side more
Nice games :) I can't say I'm that surprised that this challenge is a bit weaker on the mid to late game now, WP for making it work anyway.
2nd game, i don't get the tank position, why not keep it on the high ground, or get something in front of it for protection?

I think with the last protos if you had more widow mines in defense, the outcome would be different
I have an idea for a Zerg challenge: the Monomania build, wherein you can only attack with one type of unit at a time, and then must tech switch into something completely different and decimate any remaining units of the previous favorite type. Repeat until receive GG
If you see a cheese at Pro levels, you probably saw a variation of it with Uthermals challenges. 😝

In fact... I would watch you try for "x" instant nuke/burrow kills for many episodes. Maybe a passive challenge... if you're willing to throw a game for click bait.

Because the initial videos you did for cyclones outlined it's speed and range nerf was detrimental
The first game was absolute chaos.
maybe the Terran saw one cyclone and thought that was it. Also... I think you had that tank dead to rights, it could not have been saved it was unprotected.
Why does he have something burrowed there? And more importantly, why do I have all these marines I don't remember making standing on top of the burrowed stuff?
Killing cyclones with zerglings is so much fun when you're a zerg, but once you're Terran you're like "how the hell is that possible?!,", lol

Cyclone isn’t spell damage anymore, the lock on does auto attack damage now

Why not fully upgrade the cyclones to 3-3?
If I'm correct and they didn't change it Cyclones do "spell" damage using lock-on. It doesn't upgrade. You could do armor but most people just do something else that utilizes that or ignores it.
@@nicholasmoen1000 But non lock on hits would be stronger, correct? I am just trying to understand things better. And by the same token armor should work against all non-spell casted attacks. Armor at 3 should last longer against zerglings since they are not spell casters.
I guess I was mistaken. And you are correct. They deal both types of damage. And yes armor is good in general. I think my point was most people before the patch would get 3-3 but be building tanks or hellions and using the attack upgrade for the super long range lock on unit was an afterthought.
