After I keep in moult to dry n few sec it's sticky how can I save on container till the function

For whatever reason, when I made lollipops with isomalt jt was so sticky.

It’s summer where I live, so do i have to place the isomalt piece in an airtight container as soon as it dries completely? I find that it gets sticky as it dries, so do i have to add silica gel inside the container as well?
