The Scorpions were one of the bands that ruled the 80's and 90's. Their album Blackout was fire from song to song. I started listening to the Scorps from 1981 and haven't stopped. I saw them in concert with iron Maiden in San Antonio Texas and my ears were ringing for three days after the concert. Loudest concert I have ever seen.
A tremendous song from a tremendous band! "The Zoo," "Winds of Change," "Still Lovin' You," "No One Like You," et al. There are so many songs you can react and review. I believe all of them will blow you away!!!
Klaus Meine is the singer of German band Scorpions since 1968. So he doesn’t sound like other people, other people may sound like him. Scorpions are still active and touring, they are in their seventies…
Classic 80s perfection. Heard this blasting as I walked through a giant amusement park back in the 80s. Bangin band. This has got to be their best. I'm a Scorpio too. ☮️
Fun Fact: The video was directed by David Mallet, who had done AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" and Billy Idol's "White Wedding." Rudolf Schenker credits him with capturing the essence of the Scorpions, saying in I Want My MTV, "He said, 'Don't be serious, let's get crazy.' That video is about attitude, craziness, and sexuality. That's how we survived into the video generation." -This Song Was In 2 Video Games That I Know. Gta Vice City Stories And On Guitar Hero 3.
Believe it or not, the original title of the song was Fuck you like a hurricane. For obvious reasons the title was changed. Listen closely to the lyrics. It makes sense
Rudolf Schenker is an older brother of Michael who has played in various bands (UFO, Michael Schenker Group and Scorpions). The younger brother was a HUGE inspiration to Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden. But the solo was played by Matthias Jabs and isn't underrated in the guitarists' world. ;) As a guitar player myself I've known this solo for many years and even though the song is okay for me, this solo is still spectacular. By the way - you REALLY need to check out UFO - Lights Out, live from 1979 I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong). It's also a classic banger. All best to you guys!
You're right, Ryan; it sounds fantastic in the car. Brings back memories of me blasting it. To me, it's a pleasure...as well as a guilty pleasure. All of the components work perfectly together. It just WILL NOT BE DENIED. For not coming from the Gulf Coast, the aptly named Scorpions captured the stinging sound/feeling of a whirling maelstrom pretty darn well.
Their biggest song, as far as the charts, was “Wind Of Change” which hit #4 in 1991. It’s a ballad and those tend to do really well on the charts. This song hit #25, but it was definitely massive in the 80s, and the video was played on MTV quite a bit too.
perfect arena rockband of the 70's and 80's, me and my buddies smokin humboldt skunkweed blasting this song on the way to our adult league basketball and softball games, song will fire you up man !!
Saw the Scorps live many times over the years, always killer live and Klaus Meine still sounds great... oh those guitars! But yeah, this album and the one prior, Blackout, are what really put them on the map globally as a monster rock band. World Wide Live recording on this tour is a fantastic live album of the era.
I was just 10 years old when this song was released… great era to be a kid in! I would have been shocked had you guys not liked this song! 😂 Big City Nights & I’m Leaving You are two others off that album that are bangers imo!
Yes, finally! It was about time to have some Scorpions on the channel. There are a lot of 80's classics to go on ("Blackout", "The Zoo", "No One Like You", "Coming Home", "Still Loving You" etc.) but I would really like to see you listen to some 70's Scorpions, the Uli Jon Roth era. It is a whole different game. Check out "Evening Wind" or "The Sails of Charon" and you'll see what I mean. And congrats on the 50K!
This guitar solo - voted in many polls to be THE BEST guitar solo of 1984 - was *never* underrated. Matthias Jabs (pronounced "Ma-TEE-us YABS") has always been such an incredibly melodic guitarist who can really tear it up. Scorpions were always such a great marriage of melody and power, at least from 1979 on. Everyone is at the top of their game here. They put on a great, energetic, exciting show, too. I saw them in 1988 on the Monsters Of Rock Tour and they ROCKED GIANTS STADIUM like a hurricane!!!! 🤘🏻🐻🤘🏻 Back before Glam-Metal ruined everything Metal in the late-80s, THIS is what we listened to. It was FIERCE, IN YOUR FACE and LOUD. Scorpions, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dokken, Queensrÿche...THIS WAS THE SHIT!!!! 🤘🏻🐻🤘🏻 Some of the greatest music ever!!!! 🤘🏻🐻🤘🏻
Oh Ill just say it for tye thats EPIC!!!!!!! Finally I was asking you guys and other reactors that were all Reacting to other good scorpion songs why are they not doing rock you like a hurricane classic awesome amazing song ripping guitar drums rocking singing amazing I love it Epiccccc thank you for reacting to this. Its a great video to I remember back In the good old days the always played this and dire straits videos money for nothing and song sultans of swing they played them all the time on mtv. Id sing it with sting I WANT MY MTV
Their early albums was much heavier. Check out Speedy's Coming and Polar Nights with Uli Jon Roth live. Also Another Piece Of Meat feat. Michael Schenker on lead guitar.
I don't know if you guys have reacted to One OK Rock yet but you should if you haven't. It's a group from Japan and every song they sing live is like an epic anthem. The audience participation is also amazing. I grew up in the 60s / 70s rock era and these guys would have fir right in. Recommended songs, We Are and Renegades to start.
One thing you didn’t touch on, is that songs like this weren’t just amazing lyrics, melody and instrumental performance, but the production in the studio was absolutely cosmic!! And pretty likely that there was no digital recording used; meaning that in addition to the raw musical talent, the engineering also required amazing talent!!
My father told me that he had a friend who collected records, but he only collected the Scorpions group, he was a fan of one group, it happens, he had all the concert recordings, all the albums and photos of the group, recorded on vinyl. If possible, I want to see your reaction to the group "Slade", you don't have a single reaction on the channel.
SCORPIONS - " Blackout " another Heavy Rockin' Jam from 1982 🎸🎶 also Check Out this song by DEEP PURPLE - " Space Truckin' " it's Crazy Good and Heavy Rockin' too. 1972 classic and " Space Station Number 5 " by MONTROSE w/ Sammy Hagar on Vocals a Heavy Rock Metal JAM 🎤 1973 New songs & New Groups
If aliens ever come to earth and ask me to show them what hard rock is.. this is the song I would play them. (Monkey Business is a close second) I wish Ty had been here to sing for us... "Here I am!!!"
People rave about Worldwide Live. It sucks compared to Tokyo Tapes. People just don't know 70s Scorpions - I'll take " kojo no tsuki segued into Robot Man" anyway over their 80s stuff. Once " all night long" starts, you know this live album is gonna smoke
Scorpions were awesome. We loved them. " wind of change," " still loving you," " no one like you.""
Top 5 guitar solo all time
Those screeching guitars 🎸
Best band to ever come out of Germany…
The incomparable Mathias Jabs on lead guitar!
Hell yeah 🤘🤘🤘😎

You've gotta do "Still Loving You" from the same album. One of the GREATEST ROCK BALLADS EVER!
"Still Loving You", for sure.
Tremendous song; tremendous group. So many great tunes.
Listen to Big City Nights and Still Loving you and No one like you...etc...very great band!!!
University Of Miami’s football field taking song through the smoke
Classic 80s perfection. Heard this blasting as I walked through a giant amusement park back in the 80s. Bangin band. This has got to be their best. I'm a Scorpio too. ☮️
Happy for your 50K guys ..onwards & upwards!⚡🎉🎆 Great reaction.

Congrats on hitting that 50K mark! Very well deserved. 👏 Looking forward to celebrating with that German "Hurricane".
The music video for this song is perfect! You guys should see it. The guitar solo is iconic. One of the most memorable solos from the 80s.
The best Scorpions is When The Smoke is Going Down. Classic. 2nd best: Still loving you.
And congrats on 50k!

All i can hear in the end is big city nights kickin in.🤘
"Damn Yankees - Come Again" one of the last super groups of the 90's.
💜💜💯
Congrats on the 50k, great reaction as usual.....
Congrats on 50K gents!
Scorpions is my ALL TIME FAVORITE, please deep dive into them.

World Wide Live, baby!!
So happy for you guys hitting 50K!!! CELEBRATE!!! Love to you all from your old Hippie girl.

unfortunately it's so cheesy it's unbearable.
The Scorpions best song has to be the awesome rock ballad "Send Me An Angel."

I got to see them at MSG in N.Y. with bon jovi opening up such an amazing show great selection guys great reaction keep on rocking 🤟
There is a live version acoustically (recent) from MTV Greece. Klaus’s voice is still tight on that one.
Here is to 50K. Thanks for bringing back memories. True rock and roll Scorpions, how about some Bowie Suffragette City would be a good start
70'a Scorpions
Uli John Roth 🎸 guitar
" Speedys Coming"
How many here realize there debut was in 1972!
Such a great song. Check out Noone Like You or Still Loving You next. Scorpions are fire 🔥 ❤❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite bands ever. Their "World Wide Live" album is freakin fantastic!! 😎🔥🤘
You hit 50K🎉🎉
First scorpion song I ever learned on guitar.

Matthias Jabs on lead guitar. Top 5 underrated players imo
The Zoo. omfg
Congratulations on 50K!!🤘🔥
My favorite song by them
What more do I need than to smoke a bowl and enjoy watching you young dudes listen to a song I know you'll dig!! Cheers!!! 🤘👍🖖
Blackout and No one like You off the Blackout album are right up there.
The Scorpions have quite a sting as you could arguably assume.
🤘🤘
50k! Congrats!!! 🎉😊
Ok , PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN TO OPEN INVITATION by Santana. The studio version, it will leave you absolutely breathless.
Arena rock is right! Great song that comes in hot and does not let up.❤❤❤❤ great video guys!!!❤

Top 5 80's song in my opinion

Playlist or what..? Definitely!
Great song for sure, but i always preferred "The Zoo"
Try 70s Scorpions - " we'll burn the sky"

The cure please lovesong👍👍👍👍👍
Please introduce Ryan to The Zoo.
I slightly prefer Ratt over these guys but they both rock.
I am confused: are these guys not in the same room? If not that set up is very clever.
Put on Animal Magnetism and crank it up!
Big hit in the 80’s and still rocks today!! Thanks guys your the best. Maybe we can get you guys to dive into some Billy Squire soon 👍🏻😍
No one like you next 💯
No question, this is a great song. Check out any song from Animal Magnetism. It's their best album.
Nick Rocks me like a HURACAN! Request for Men at Work OVERKILL
IMHO this is good, but their earlier stuff was better.
My first concert, Worchester Centrum 1984(?).
Bon Jovi opened. Nobody had heard of the opening act, at the time.
Life changing concert
If anyone is offended
Well tough shot
Scorpions on a par , let ' s say a notch better than that crap american band who goes by the name kiss
Way Over played ! Plus they have much better songs! Loving You Sunday Morning is just one! In Trance,Sails of Charon,Coast to Coast!
They have much better songs than this one. Listen to the live album Tokyo Tapes.
People rave about Worldwide Live. It sucks compared to Tokyo Tapes. People just don't know 70s Scorpions - I'll take " kojo no tsuki segued into Robot Man" anyway over their 80s stuff. Once " all night long" starts, you know this live album is gonna smoke
No one could sing this at karoake though lol
