I've sat here and read all the comments - so let me take you on a little trip - it's the end of 1973 and your older sister is dating a well known Aussie singer they sneak you into Chequers (because Casey will turn a blind eye as long as you dont give him grief) and up and coming musos from Burwood (if I remember rightly) were doing their first gig - nice enough guys, awesome performers. A few months later, in September '74 they replace Dave (their original singer) with a scruffy but lovable roguish fella (who your 15 year old self absolutely swooned over) you get to know these guys and have some great memories. Fast forward 50 years and here I am 65 years old remembering a bunch of great blokes who tolerated their mates girlfriends annoying little sister, I sit in a suburb of Brizzie and smile - because yes, some of you saw them 5 or even 10 times in concert but I sat and talked to these guys between sets before they became who they are today - you know the "idols" i know the cheeky, irreverent, hard working, modest, funny and humble guys behind the name ACDC - I wouldn't trade those months of knowing them personally for all the tickets/backstage passes in the world - to me they were more of a phenomenon before they hit the big time.
Great reaction guys...I grew up in the 80's and was lucky enough to see almost every Rock band...I saw ACDC a few times but Thunderstruck was hands down their best concert!! I could kick myself for getting rid of all of my concert shirts!!!!! The 80's were the greatest time to be a teenager!!!!
I don't care how simple their music is to play. When they come on you know who it is and they always put a smile on your face. Will never get old. One of the best bands to do it.

Oh, you’d remember watching them on TV, wayyy back, playing on the back of a flat bed truck going down Swanston St Melbourne. Easy to pic the Aussies in here lol
Do research AC/DC's origin story. And also check out the lead singer they had when they became famous: Bon Scott. The lead singer for this performance was Brian Johnson--who's been their lead singer since Bon Scott's death in 1980.
The greatest Hard Rock group of all time. No one Rocks it like these Scottish boys. Best Rock band ever. They are still doing constant Rock shows and he's in his seventies.
Incredible song! Just a banger. One of the best bands EVER! Their powerhouse genuine rock n roll cannot be beat! The drum beats, the guitar riffs, those bass lines and Brian Johnson's gruff vocals just kill! I have seen this band a handful of times early on through the 90's and their live shows sent chills through you the whole time. The crowd makes it even more incredible. We all know the lyrics and rock out the whole time. Nothing like it! RIP Malcom Young.
Malcolm Young wrote this song to try and settle his nerves when they were on a plane to Texas from Australia. They were flying during a severe thunderstorm, and the turbulence was getting the best of him. Angus was laughing at him and told him to write ,as it was always calming for him. Malcolm said, " Every time the thunder struck the plane, I thought we were going down." So, he wrote some of the song during the flight and finished it a day or so later after their strip club experience in Dallas.... hence," We met some girls, some dancers who gave us good time "......He said Thunderstruck was literally based on that experience and they were really surprised when it became such a big hit for them. Angus wasn't on board with it initially, but Malcolm was the leader of the band, so they decided to record it.
With that huge smile/grin when the beat kicked in speaks volumes how you enjoy this music. Good for you stepping out of your genre 'box'. Hope you convince some of those folks that don't want to what they are missing out on.
Thunderstruck is w/o a doubt my favorite AC/DC song. Absolutely no way you're sitting still to this song... if you still have a pulse. Lol. Brazilian vocalist Dan Vasc (Vasconcelos) and Greek band Orion's Reign actually did a symphonic metal version of Thunderstruck that's awesome, too. I now have 2 great versions to enjoy. Btw, if you've never checked out Dan Vasc, that's a great rabbit hole. He's independent & the man's a vocal chameleon who does everything from folk, opera, 80s, rock, & metal, plus has his own band called Fearless. He's classically trained & very talented doing everything out of his home. Just hit 1 million subscribers in May, too. His "Amazing Grace" was my intro to him & is probably my favorite version. It has about 12 million views. His Nessun Dorma, Time to Say Goodbye, Phantom of the Opera covers, Kiss From a Rose (metal version w/Violet Orlandi), Iron Maiden covers, all of the Witcher Series bard songs (that he converted to metal versions & have more views than the original versions), Mulan's "I'll Make a Man out of You" (metal version), Handel's Messiah Hallelujah Chorus (One Man Choir), Bohemian Rhapsody, etc are amazing. He's quite the comedian, too. If you ever chk out his Nation Anthem, which was done as an Independence day homage to the U.S. for his audience here, you absolutely need to follow it with his "Apology" video...I won't ruin the surprise.😀
Great recommendation! Just like to add he was also in the Brazilian Army. He has covered more ground than most people in the music industry. He also has a vast catalog of covers. I recall when he just had a couple thousand subscribers. Back then, I was new to UA-cam and only watched music videos and documentaries on bands, artists, etc. I soon discovered YT was overflowing with talented artists from around the globe. Dan Vasc was one of the first channels I discovered by way of a cover of Amy Lee/ Evanescense song. Been a fan since. I knew at some point his channel would blow up. I use to recommend his channel to music reaction channels before his name was known but never got lucky with any of my recommendations. It took a number of years for his name and channel to gain traction. He so deserves all the praise and attention he now receives, and more. I also highly recommend the National Anthem. Apology, too. Love that American service men and women are in awe of his cover. No denying this young man is beyond talented and intelligent based on his career path and philosophy.
@emmef7970 He has paid his dues for sure. I was late to the party with his Amazing Grace. So very happy for him & I try to catch him on Bro Science as often as I can.

As a 63 grandma who rocks out to ALLL the genre’s so my kids & grandkids know music- I’m laughing my ass off at this reaction 😂🎉
AC/DC - you got to get some Back In Black now.
YES!
Exactly. I haven't seen many reactions to back in black. The crowd shots are a better than this to me
That would be awesome! Would also love to something earlier, to see a reaction to Bon Scott as the singer!
Wow! I was just counting up the years, it has been 35 years since I saw ACDC live.
44 years since I saw them
I don't care how simple their music is to play. When they come on you know who it is and they always put a smile on your face. Will never get old. One of the best bands to do it.
Laser light show, ACDC vs Def Leppard at OMSI in Portland, OR (mid 80's, I believe). Best night of my life.
Welcome to the acca dacca rabbit hole love from this Aussie gandma who got to see them live! I loved telling my grandchildren that they didn't discover this ,
Oh, you’d remember watching them on TV, wayyy back, playing on the back of a flat bed truck going down Swanston St Melbourne.
Easy to pic the Aussies in here lol
Do research AC/DC's origin story. And also check out the lead singer they had when they became famous: Bon Scott. The lead singer for this performance was Brian Johnson--who's been their lead singer since Bon Scott's death in 1980.
I saw them live at the Quebec City FEQ in 2015... Along with 60,000 other fans outside on the plains of Abraham... WHAT A SHOW!!!
One of the best concerts I've experienced. The young lady in the row in front of mine to off her shirt to "You Shook Me"
Ac/Dc was mostly 70s and 80s, but then, this and " money talks" were their 1990-91 comeback
You need to hock him up with sum " derty deeds dun durt cheep" your homeme gone love that one
River Plate, the most powerful and hot stadium. Amazing!
Love ac/dc their playing is so tight real talent a great band absolutely legendary..
The lead guitar player Angus said that lick he plays from the beginning was a exercise that his older brother taught him.
Love the reaction!! But most importantly, I LOVE THE HAT!!!! Da BEARS!!!! His face when "Could we come again please?!" Priceless!!!!
AC/DC and Metallica are my 2 Favorites... Thunderstruck my all time favorite song... I'm 60 and been rocking with AC/DC since I was 13.. In Jr. High.
The greatest Hard Rock group of all time. No one Rocks it like these Scottish boys. Best Rock band ever. They are still doing constant Rock shows and he's in his seventies.
Love the understatement "this little rock group"😅😅😅
Fabulous! Best listened to as loud as you can take it! This is what it was like when I was growing up and attending concerts. It was absolutely incredible the vibe at these great shows. Everyone enjoying and living the music.
💙💙💙💙🔥🔥🔥🔥 loved this reaction!
This is my all time favorite rock group and this song was our middleschool (U.S.A)/jr high (Canada)/highschool football team theme song because they are called the Thunderbirds❕❗ This song will always be Iconic❕❗
im a 57 yr old headbanger from way back, love AC/DC
I am 57 too , it isn’t that far back !!!!…😂😂😂..or maybe it is….crazy how fast times goes….
I'm 57 too, going to be 58 in two weeks 😊and I loooooove that song, still works at any party, so keep on rocking! 🎉
59 year old. Saw AC/DC in 1980 at Newcastle City Hall. Back in Black tour. I think they did 1 or 2 nights at the Mayfair first then City Hall to launch the tour
Growing up listening to ACDC was the best 🎉. Their concerts were epic and an experience unlike anything else!!! Now days too many would be glued to their phones😮. Definitely some of the best concerts that I got to experience during such a time of kick ass music❤
Def Leppard "Hysteria " the Drummer of yhe band lost his arm in an accident. relearned to play the drums with both feet and one arm . On this album.
The drummer from Def Leppard's only got one arm!
I'm nearly 70 and have been to their concerts several times. Great every time. I will go again if they show up. It's a shame to get old.
Dude makes a great point about these shots of a live event really made you feel like you were there.
Was privileged to see them in Dallas, TX when this song came out. AWESOME !!!!
I'm 63 and have seen a lot of concerts and they are my favorite. Not music but experience.
you all need to watch live RIver plate- entire concert- the energy runs non stop! THey are touring now in UK and Paris
Takes me back to high school football. This song of the AC/DC Live CD was our pre-game “play at maximum volume and get ready to hit somebody” tune.
I love seeing how you appreciate the music itself... I saw AC/DC and Cinderella and quite a few others back in the 80's and we truly had the best music and the best times.
AC/DC is easily my favourite band ever. I listen to them all the time, and rock hard every time! I got to see them in concert with 42,000 people, but they have filled stadiums five times that size!
Watch it live at donnington... In the daytime. The crowd was unreal. It's the best live version. It's so loud at their concerts, that your ears will be ringing for days, while still sounding like the record
Saw them live back in 1982 during the For Those About to Rock tour. Grew up blasting their music before I went out. Love AC/DC.
Absolutely amazing reaction, LETS GOOOOO
AC/DC has been one of my favorite bands since my parents showed them to me when I was a kid. I’m in my early 30’s now and my husband and I play all kinds of music around the house for our 18 month old son and he jams out. But so far his favorite is AC/DC and Ozzy. I’ve seen them in concert for their Black Ice tour and it was the BEST concert I’ve ever been too
Saw the Razors edge concert two nights in a row 1991, this song was the opener...was at front of stage, could feel the drum and base rattling my ribs.
I went AC/DC in Florida in 1995 it was this tour of Thunderstruck and they're fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ they're show was fantastic the concert was sold out I was on the floor Row F but Brian Johnson walked down the runway and I reached out and touched him this was the best concert I ever went to I waited for years im been listening to them since I can remember I'm 60 and I'll always bang this music till I die
Best energy of any rock concert you could go to. They're just hard working, know what they like, what the audience likes, and they're going to give it to you - over and over and over. Also, perfect music for the gym. Ya'll should check out "Whole Lotta Rosie" they have an inflatable on the stage for that - it'll either give you nightmares or make you crack up.
my 8YO son loves this song... I have loved this song for a long long time, its on multiple play lists on my phone.
Watching you two discover the music of my teens is so much fun.. LOL I've seen ACDC a ton of times and they never disappoint. Incredible band and the energy is off the hook.
For me I am an old school Rock/ Metal Head.......SO I love watching your facial expressions when you hear this music for the first time!!!
