  • A great approach shot is better than a great putt!? At least it´ll help you out big time on the disc golf course. Tomas Ekström, world champion, teaches me, a beginner how its done. Hope you like it :)

    I love the honesty. It's refreshing that you show the failures and the triumphs -- it let's us all know that perfection takes practice. I appreciate it not just all technical "how to" footage. There is playful banter and levity, seasoned with a healthy dose of respect. Thanks for the entertainment mixed in with learning.

    These videos are great help even for those of us that have been throwing for a few years. There has definitely been take aways from each one to help improve my game.
    Suggestion : A video on being more consistent on every throw. I believe that is a major problem for alot of players new and experienced. Thanks for sharing this

Based on the type of shot you need. My bag is full of Latitude 64, River Air, 2 Diamonds, Saint Pro, Fuse, Compass and of course a bunch of Pure’s. Still trying to learn the right disc for the shot.

  • @mortendmortensen
    @mortendmortensen 4 роки тому

    One thing that they did not mention (even though Tomas did it) is to throw a bit nose-up. This will make the disc stall and you avoid going to far when you don't get the right height. It allows you to go for the bucket a bit more because it won't go too far past the basket.
    Also. Playing catch with a putter will teach you this. Try to make the disc lose it's speed before the other guy has to catch it. A flat/straight shot will hurt when you catch it, but a stalling nose-up shot wont.

    I have tried everything but if I want to get midrange even a bit further like 50-60 meters (about 150 feet), the disc is always turning too much right in a middle of the flight and its not coming back🤔

    • @Latitude64
      @Latitude64  3 роки тому

      you might want to try a more stable midrange. If you throw right handed and the disc flipps off to the right in the middle. Maybe try a Compass och Claymore :)

    Don't be afraid to keep your eyes on the target and throw a little nose up with upshots. I like to throw mids with lots of glide that are just barely on the understable side with about 15 degrees of hyzer and just change the amount of nose up to shape the line.
