I just tried this sport at 65. I thought it would be like playing frisbee. Little did I know. My arm hurt after 18 holes. Sport is deserving of elevated status. Im going back to golf. It doesn’t hurt as much.

I absolutely love golf and disc golf. But disc golf is more economical and more physically active. I definitely prefer a serious round of disc golf over actually golf. It's also half the time.

A 500' hole was NEVER going to get "aced" in those days. The new plastic and the ability to utilize the new disc's advantages is mind blowing. P.S For those of you who have never tried disc golf,you should. Grab a disc,go out side,yard,park anywhere with some room and use a tree for your target. Call or look up your local course pro and pick up a disc or two and some pointers. Careful, it's addictive. You're for warned. Great Job guys!!!

Thank you for keeping all the language clean!! I subbed in PE a couple days ago and the majority of the kids didn't even know how to throw a frisbee. This will be shown next time I am in that class and we are going to learn to throw a frisbee!

I mean it is. One of the few sports you can play outside by yourself or with a group of friends for free. Very easy to start, very hard to get just OK lol.
I have a friend who is really good at dusk golf, and I played a round with him and you could hear the frisbee just buzzing out of his hand. Took me like three shots to get to where his first shot landed.

It definitely can be taxing. I have damage to my shoulder (unrelated to disc golf) that would act up every time until I started to improve my form.
