So the Freakazoid portion of my video got copyright claimed. Don't know why, doesn't make sense, it's just the intro with fair use commentary and no audio from the show. But I tried appealing it and it was rejected. So I have chosen to remove it from the video, otherwise they get the monetization for the ENTIRE video. So just know that Freakazoid airs Sat 12:30am after 2 Stupid Dogs.
BOOO!
I’m exited for this
Fk copyrights.
I can’t wait I will most definitely be recording the beetlejuice cartoon & the real ghostbusters cartoon & two stupid dogs! & a bunch others! & the jetsons meet the flintstones omg I’m so excited!
Mr c from happy days was the voice of the main character in wait to you’re father gets home
WB getting rid of their animated properties on MAX is MeTV's gain
That's for sure! Huge loss for them! 😆
I agree
Even if they're far more recent than anything else here, part of me would love to see Me TV Toons (or any channel, really) pick up some animated series that Max (nee HBO Max) dropped, like Close Enough, Infinity Train, OK KO Let's be Heroes, and Uncle Grandpa.
@@JohnPannozzi agreed but uncle grandpa isn’t that old of a cartoon
@@JohnPannozzi eww no, that's exactly what ruined Boomerang, when they started putting in newer shows into the mix and kept pushing out the classics
God, start a petition for Andre to be THE spokesperson for this!
They've got the voice of Porky Pig, Bob Bergen, as the voice of the network.
@@coreylineberry8557 and they even have Jeff Bergman, the voice of other Looney Toons chiming in as well.
They should give Andre a show where he hypes up the shows and introduces new addtion to the programmation!
@@Undravehe has the personality to be a Tv presenter
@@coreylineberry8557 The modern/living voice of PP.... Obviously it's a bit hard to contact Mel Blanc at this time. (Bob Bergen is pretty darned good, though.)
Watching old cartoons makes me happy and nostalgic. Screw these live action remakes, just watch an old movie or cartoon and enjoy the classics. Watching MeTV Toons is gonna bring back memories of me having the classic Boomerang channel growing up. New stuff has nothing on the old stuff
Nothing beats good old cartoons, this is something I just need in my life.
Just the language they use is so different
I definitely agree
Classic cartoons feel so cozy. Like a warm hug.
I Hope They Add The Snorks And Sailormoon The English Version In The Future
This kind of schedule takes me back to 90’s television, man do I miss those days.
Don't we all,miss it.
Boomerang was the best
@@snailwithmailUnfortunately it didn’t do what they said that they were supposed to be showing and that was All Old School and It’s All Coming Back To You. They took it away with all of that garbage that had just been airing on CN and took away all of the Old School shows.
the greatest block of cartoons was the Cartoon Express show that USA network would do. You learned about so many old cartoons.
@@fehner27 They were mostly cartoons that had been out for the past decade or so but they were still a good cartoon selection.
So basically this is like the old Cartoon Network lineup during the early days of Cartoon Network only thing missing is jabber jaw speed buggy etc
And Clue Club and Funky Phantom
and Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics
@@joshuabrunken3848 everyone always forgets Clue Club and it's a shame because it was a wonderful show.
And the Hair Bear bunch, Banana Splits, Paw Paw bears, shirt tails.... Heck, even Centurions
@@MentalLiberation I own the complete series of Centurions on DVD. Do you remember when CN used to do a marathon run of episodes for 3 hours called Super Chunk? I wonder if MeTV Toons will do something like that and not just the same thing that CN did but better with mixing up things with the shows that don’t get as much air time.
Hi there. I am programming manager with MeTV Toons. This is just a rough schedule that'll change over time. There are a lot of placeholders in this one. For instance. the 3 hour block on Sunday from midnight is a temporary block reserved for MeTV Anime, brought to you in collaboration with RetroCrush. We wish to give people that old nostalgic Toonami feel. We just finalized that deal, btw. We're also bringing in some of the old Cartoon Network shows from the checkered era, such as Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog and Ed, Edd n' Eddy, and of course a wide range of Hanna-Barbera classics including Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw, Funky Phantom and Speed Buggy.
0.0 HORY SHIT REALLY ???? WAT ANIME WILL BE ON ??
you have the best job in the world. the possibilities with this channel are endless, from old school Boomeraction (Centurions, Sky Commanders, Superfriends, Herculoids) to old school saturday mornings (Tarzan Lone Ranger, Thundarr, Dungeons & Dragons, Pole Position, etc). Excited for what is coming is an understatement.
@@zayaespinoza6088 That I do not know, as it's their block (RetroCrush). But they carry a ton of good classic anime.
I know this is crazy, and might be a lot of work, but imagine if you had vintage commercials during the shows? get McD, Colgate, M&M, etc and instead of a modern commercial, show one from the 70's, 80's, or 90's. Would be a cool touch.
HI, there. I was wonderin' if you were able to license the DePatie-Freleng toons. I miss Pink Panther, and all the rest.
I really hope they add shows like Batman: The Animated series/ New Batman adventures, Batman Beyond, Static Shock and Superman: The animated series.
I agree, I was hoping to see more modern stuff instead trotting the same old, tired Hanna-Barbera public domain stuff! I want to see stuff that I grew up in the 80s/90s/2000s. Hopefully they will get more contemporary stuff.
MeTV Toons should be released worldwide.
yeah!
If it gets popular enough, maybe it will happen.
Yeah. Unfortunately for right now, it’s only in certain tv markets across the US. Which sucks for people like me in the Midwest who won’t be getting it
This!!!
I believe it might be because I heard rumors about a app for it that way you can put it on TVs ect. But I’m just so excited for it can’t wait
UA-cam is also another option for old cartoons I watch them on UA-cam sometimes
Andre dropping a Toon Heads reference... Toon Heads was SO DAMN GOOD.
I'm excited for this new block but man I would have loved to see The Snorks on this roster. I have very fond memories of that show!
hopefully there'll be show rotations
80's cartoon block Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera ( Yogi's Treasure Hunt, Paw Paw Bears...)
I got to thank you for letting me know about MeTV Toons, I never would have heard of this otherwise and I'm really excited for it.
Real ghostbusters is on the schedule so you have my full attention 😊
Same! I loved the Real Ghostbusters!
As a Brit, I guarantee you that you're in for a treat with Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and all those other Gerry Anderson shows being on this channel!
I'd like to know why Stingray is absent from the Supermarionation block though.
Hey, it looks like that the 3am EST start time for this (unofficial) Anderson block is 8 am BST? Maybe MeTVToons is sending a nice shout out to you all! Fire up your VPN and join in!
We can watch them livestreaming on UA-cam all day. Too bad if anyone wants to watch them on TV, they have to be up really early.
I'm surprised The Secret Service isn't included.
The Thunderbirds already airs on regular the MeTV channel Sundays 6am est.
It's crazy to see you talk about METV. When they expanded outside of Illinois, they turned Svengoolie, a Chicago legend, into a country wide success
Sven is the best.
WGN did the same with Bozo the Clown. As soon as WGN became a Superstation, their local Bozo show became a nationwide hit!
@@christiangonzales7429 that's right!
@@christiangonzales7429
Exactly the same process, just in a different set of years.
Son of Svengoolie
I’m ready to have this channel play on my tv 24/7 once I have it. I also love Wait till Your Father Gets Home and I’m so excited that it’ll be on there.📺
2 Stupid Dogs and Wait Till Your Father Gets Home!!! I am in nostalgia heaven!!
Cant wait! And Toonami's old block is coming back (OG Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z Kai and OG Naruto) soon. Wooo.
Edit: It starts airing on May 31st, 2024 (check your local cable/live TV stream services for your local time when it airs).
Wait WHAT!?? Show meeee
They can keep dbz kai and give us OG dbz and keep Naruto and give us tenchi,g force, thundercats etc..
same!
@@Corneliusbryan8806 True, tenchi was my favorite out of the Toonami block back in the day.
Not saying I didn't enjoy the other animes too.
I’m hoping for the Original Pokémon anime to
I actually love MeTV, I watch it all the time, so glad to see them showing toons all day on a new channel, that one might enter my rotation of exclusively the MeTV channels
Okay, that’s an impressive library list so far honestly. The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley is a show I completely forgotten since back then! Like no way… Wait Till Your Father Gets Home! OMG WHAT?! 😳 I remember that too! Obscure nostalgia over here. Those two in particular I am remembered for the first time since back in the day. That blows my mind. 😂
Omg, I was so surprised… our parents made us watch the Greatest Adventures series when we were really little… but the Mr T cartoon, Captain Planet, Speed Racer, and Wacky Races were my favorites!💖
MeTv Toons is going to be insane......AND I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
You know what this channel needs? The Laff-a-lympics
Yes!!
13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo and New Adventures of Johnny Quest would be awesome.
Johnny quest is on schedule
@@FrankGalvin-w2f The original Johnny Quest is listed, there was another called The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest from 1996
I get the feeling this schedule will drive the sales of recording devices, some of these shows have been hard to come by and they're airing in the wee hours.
Like you mentioned I hope they add Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and maybe down the line Batman the animated series and Superman the animated series.
Maybe if it goes well they will be able to play around with the schedule and have more on their without showing a cartoon more than once on the schedule or have different cartoons air on certain days
We Can Do That Soon
They need an action block with Extreme Ghost Busters, Voltron, Thunder Cats, Swat Cats, and maybe throw in some more Speed Racer and Space Ghost.
I remember Cartoon Network had a block of action before it became Toonami
Later on down the line they could maybe do different blocks like he was saying cartoons created from movies
@@jasonelliott7977Yeah, Power Zone. I loved that block.
@@jasonelliott7977the original Toonami was a bunch of 80s shows like Centurions, Thundercats, GI Joe, and Silverhawks before they were bolstered by Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z until they got the rights to more shows…
How about The Mighty Hercules, Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles, Birdman and The Galaxy Trio, Dastardly & Muttley, Yogi’s Gang, Yogi’s Treasure Hunt, Superman (1988 - 1989), Superfriends featuring DC Superheroes (1973 - 1986), The Robonic Stooges (a takeoff of The Three Stooges Comedy Anthology series) (1977- 1978), Speed Buggy and She - ra & the Princess of Power
I'm never changing my channel, thanks MeTV
I'm hoping my area gets this channel.
This is going to be my happy place. I grew up on the majority of these cartoons and it warms my heart to see them back for everyone else to enjoy.
This is a great tribute and celebration of some of the greatest cartoon characters/shows of all time!
If they throw in Pac-man, Turbo Teen, Laugh Olympics, Snorks, Jabber Jaw, Speed Buggy, Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch, and Dragon'a Lair, we will have a complete Cartoon Express revival. Also, I want to see some He-man, Voltron, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, Robocop, Rambo and the Forces of Freedom, Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos, Teen Wolf, Silver Hawks, Camp Candy, and maybe even some Bobby's World.
OMG!!! We must be about the same age bc u mentioned Thundercats, Transformers & Laugh Olympics 😂
10:16 Oh I remember that. I have always remembered it. And I'm glad it's on the roster.
Speaking of obscure, I wouldn't mind if we got "The Pirates of Dark Water" as well in the future
I watched Wait til Your Father Gets Home when I was a small child. It was over my head then. I will need to watch it again to see what I was looking at way back then.
I think the most surprising entry is 'the mental misadventures of ed grimley' ... I never got into that show, LOL! but some pretty solid picks from all over my childhood here for sure. hoping we get a local affiliate here near san diego I'll definitely fire up the TV antenna for some retro cartoons.
Man, seeing Beetlejuice in the line-up and it's on 730 weekday mornings.... It takes me back to when I used to watch Beetlejuice on Fox Kids on weekday mornings at 730, lol. I'm telling you... if they start airing Batman the Animated series, Some Fox kids and kids WB series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, DENNIS THE MENACE???? Oh man, MeTV TOONS would be the major go-to channel for my kids... It'll be cool if they add some toy commercials and cereal commercials as well (Not retro of course).
Oh boy, I'm looking forward to seeing Freakazoid.
same!
Freakazoid is my sh.t!
My local channel often preempted Freakazoid, back in the day, so I'm looking forward to seeing stuff I missed!
"Here He Comes, Here Comes Speed Racer" YES, YES, YES !!!!!!
😃😃😃😃😃😃
Scooby-Doo Where Are You, Yogi Bear, Johnny Quest, The Jetsons, The Flinstones, Underdog -- TOTALLY AWESOME !!!!!!!😃😃😃
CAN'T WAIT !!!! 👍👍
2:42 I have rocky and Bullwinkle on DVD full series actually along with Animaniacs, Flintstones Jetsons etc
4:00 mask , Thunderbirds and speed racer . Heck yeah 👍👍
I absolutely remember the Ed Grimley cartoon (it was _”totally decent,_ I must say” 😋). My favorite part was always Count Floyd’s “scary” stories ( 10:32 RIP Joe Flaherty 🧛♂️) Fun fact, the show ran on Saturday mornings for the same three months (Sep-Dec 1988) as Jim Varney’s equally short-lived kids’ show, “Hey Vern, It’s Ernest”. Probably not a coincidence, considering it was smack in the middle of the Pee-Wee’s Playhouse era 😅
Ed Grimley!? I DO REMEMBER that cartoon it used to air (in Mexico that is) on sunday nights only when cartoon started, alongside Wait till your father gets home.
The Bible stories.... huh, I NEVER THOUGHT I would heard from that again, because I used to watch some OLD VHS tapes that showed to us at elementary school (i went to a catholic elementary school)
UA-cam TV better have my recommendations prepared to automatically switch to MeTV Toons
It’s like Boomerang. This is gonna be dope
Top Cat, the most effectual, Top Cat, whose intellectual close friends get to call him T.C.....
That's one of my favorite shows. I used to watch it regularly when Boomerang was the hot thing.
All we need now is RoboCop the animated series, the swamp thing, animated series & Toonsylvania
This is a great start. Personally I'd love to see in the future:
Galaxy High School
The New Archies
Thunder Cats/Silver Hawks/Tiger Sharks
Teen Wolf
Pirates of Dark Water
Earthworm Jim
C.O.P.S.
Toxic Crusaders
Bucky O'Hare
Tales From the Crypt Keeper
I remember Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home (I loved old school Cartoon Network)! I can't wait for June 25!
*Totally Tooned In was Antenna TV's cartoon block. They showed mostly the old Columbia/Screen Gems cartoons (and UPA stuff like Gerald McBoing Boing.) Columbia also had a cartoon series called Color Rhapsodies (similiar to Disney's Silly Symphonies)
I am looking forward to The Casper and Company Block.
Not only does it have Casper but I was told it would have the other Harvey cartoons as well like: Baby Huey, Little Audrey, Katnip and Herman etc. Also looking forward to the Woody Woodpecker block which will also have Chilly Willy, Any Panda and the rest.
I can't believe rabbit ear TVs are still a thing now
And still serving a purpose no less!
@TreyMcDonaldAnimator the best part is it doesn't cost a thing.
I cut cable and went back to Over-The-Air TV in 2008.
@@TreyMcDonaldAnimator How can it when satellite TV is the main way TV's been broadcast for sometime
@@gerawallstar3487 I doubt that
They should add in the future Alvin and the Chipmunk, a pup named Scooby Doo, probably the Adams Family Cartoon just named a few.
Absolutely love this and most definitely be tuning in! My hope is we get the kind of more obscure stuff on this channel like creepy crawlers, the90s Adam’s family, tales from the crypt, toxic crusader, fox’s Peter Pan and the pirates, earthworm Jim,the adventures of T. rex, cowboys of moomesa, and Bucky o hare just to name a few! I would like to be punch in the face with nostalgia lol
I gotta get myself a TV antenna...
Also look into getting a tablo. tablo is a pay once dvr that records tv antenna shows.
No just A digital box
@@tareapeters5215 why get the box when an antenna is WAAAAYYY cheaper
@@tareapeters5215you need the antenna to get the station over the air and a digital box if your tv is analog.
I would be good if the schedule was Men in Black, The Mask, Beetlejuice, and The Real Ghostbusters.
Woody Woodpecker's my favorite cartoon of all time! I love certain episodes, like Knock Knock, Wet Blanket Policy, The Dippy Diplomat, Operation Saw Dust, etc! I have a video game of Woody Woodpecker for my PS2 & a DVD that I watch Woody Woodpecker episodes of too! I'm just so happy Woody Woodpecker is on MeTV Toons! I love that bird, a lot!
So Totally Tooned In was a show that Jerry Beck compiled in the 90s that showcased theatrical shorts from the Sony/Columbia Library that ended up not airing in the US. So cartoons like Mr Magoo, Gerald McBoing Boing, Fox and the Crow, and Scrappy will be represented at that time
That's great! As an aside, if any of you are at a convention and you see Jerry Beck is there to give a panel, GO TO IT! You won't be sorry!
Amazing Schedule! COME ON PHILO! I WANT TO DVR ALL OF THE CARTOONS AND WATCH ON METV TOONS!
There will be a free fast channel available as well. That's been confirmed from many sources. I think pretty much anyone who will want to access this for cheap or free will be able to in one way or another.
"Go Go Gadget! 🙏🏿" Is crazy 🤣
Wait Till Your Father Gets Home?!?! I remember that theme song vividly… but the show still felt like some weird core memory I have but no one else remembered. 😂
Would be great to see them play The Halloween Tree over the Halloween season. Always remember seeing it on Cartoon Network around Halloween, would be nice to keep the tradition alive
This makes me so happy, especially when I saw top cat, wacky racers, and the penelope pitstop
Of course I would love if they had Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly dog, I am weasel, puffy amy yumi, Juniper lee, billy and mandy, Time squad, ed edd n eddy or even sheep in the big city was shown
Tbh, it sounds like a free version of classic boomerang
Yup but better with cartoons who don't have a complete set of DVDs yet
*HISTERIA?!? FREAKAZOID?!?*

Histeria helps fill that darn educational content requirement
both Kids WB! shows back then
Let's pray animaniacs comes to METV toons ❤

dude, I would love to see Taz-mania and maybe the ones based on videogames like Captain N, Super Mario Bros Super Show or The Power Team. And more action cartoons like C.O.P.S., Pirates of Dark Water or any of the toy based ones like Visionaries, M.A.S.K. or the Centurions. Hell, get me some of those early anime that showed up too like Astroboy and Kimba the White Lion.
There is no way that freakazoid at 1230 am wasn't on purpose
Perfect timing!! 👌🏾 😂
It's definitely on purpose 😂😂
Just wait till tiny toons, animaniacs, Pinky and the brain and pinky, Elmyra and the brain join the midnight lineup
At least they know their audience
@Black Nerd Comedy Hi Andre. Remember Fantastic Max, or the Double Dragon cartoon? Things like that or Flintstone kids are the real old school vibe! Speaking of old School, can I recommend you check out Tekkaman Blade, if I haven't already. Now that takes me back! Weekend morning nostalgia at it's finest, and once you see it, there is no going back!
The early morning is the best time to watch Beetlejuice.
Yeah I wish it was on the Saturday morning lineup like it was in the early 90's.
Cool! Fantastic announcement! There’s many cartoons that I hope will be given a chance to be part of this lineup in the future but this initial lineup is really good and I especially love the weekend schedules myself so I may tune in more on the weekends however I respect how the full lineup has your attention as you are more connected to the older cartoons than me and also I really need to say that I hope that they add on Pup named Scooby-doo because I really think that should be a regular feature too in my opinion. Anyways fantastic lineup and thank you for hosting this video so well!
I hope they add Thundarr The Barbarian and maybe Batman the Animated Series
I hope they out this channel on PlutoTV!
Wait til your Father gets home. I was really surprised to see it re-air after seeing it when I was a kid when it originally came out
Awesome! Thanks for the breakdown Andre! Wish they had Superfriends on there somewhere but this is still an amazing schedule of programming.
I hope to eventually see shows like Danger Mouse and Count Duckula, but I'm impressed with the lineup so far.
I hope they add Batman The Animated Series,Superman The Animated Series and Justice League because they are WB cartoons now that Weigel owns them I see why not lol 😂
BROOOOO, when I heard Underdog I couldn't believe it AND THUNDERBIRDS AND THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS?! Dayum, they're giving us the classics!

I know they're supposed to get Xiaolin Showdown. I hope they get Jackie Chan adventures in the future
Another show I would like to see on the channel is Mucha Lucha
Andre, you and I are in perfect sync when it comes to these old shows. It's just too bad I have Roku and no satellite. This thing needs to stream, and so does regular METV. I'd have this channel on 24/7.
I agree, metv toons should have a Saturday cartoon block full of cartoons based on movies like men in black, RoboCop, Rambo, the karate kid, Jumanji, the mummy, Godzilla, bill and ted, dumb and dumber, Godzilla, ace Ventura, back to the future and all dogs go to heaven
One of em will show up eventually.
Give it time.

They must've got Police Academy for a discount as much as they're showing it lol I can't wait for this
They might have gotten the bulk rate on Ruby Spears toons.
They need to host you for this channel!
I am so EXCITED!!!!!!! Now the Millennials Kids can enjoy the same classic cartoons that we grew up with back in the 70s and 80s and 90s 24/7
they could swap out one of the toon hour blocks for strictly action and/or adventure focused cartoons like transformers, swat cats, thundercats, ect...
I hope they aquire 'Roads Rovers' along with 'Animaniacs', 'Pinky and the Brain' and 'Tiny Toons' so that we can get all the shows Tom Rugger created🤞🏾🍀🤞🏾

I like the lineup so far, especially “Wait till Your Father Gets Home” & “Speed Racer”. There’s another overlooked HB cartoon I hoped would be on the schedule called "Where’s Huddled?" It was a show about professional football players & their lives on & off the field that also ran in prime time around 1970-71 I believe.
The urge to set this up on my crt to run in the background is so high
Have no idea what id need to do it but im down to do it
Absolutely wonderful.
Over the air gem of a channel!
I would love it if it came to Australia
MeTV Toons is what I need after Checkered Past & Toonami Rewind!
I’m just too excited about this! They’re bringing back the old Cartoon Network and boomerang back and I absolutely love it. My childhood memories are coming back to me!!😊❤
What kind of antennas are you guys using to pick this up? I need a 70 mile range antenna for the attic, but I don’t want to mess with grounding it and all of that.
Maybe this will just wind up on tubi or Pluto.
