Same
I remember growing up and looking at these cartoons
I'm glad MeTV TOONS set it up where other people can still enjoy looking at these cartoons even if they can't get this channel on their TV because they can still look at it on UA-cam even though MeTV TOONS show a different cartoon on UA-cam that they show on regular TV because they don't show the same cartoon at the same time because I was looking at the cartoon droopy on my TV but I was looking at Casper on my phone on UA-cam

Nice to see Baby Huey is on here!
Casper is such a friendly ghost!
That's how most people become interested in Classical music. By watching Classic cartoons!
Ditto here but also with jazz music.
@@aaronsarchive82 True.
@@ronald-xs7sp Yep most of the Classic Cartoons like these has good sounding music.
It's so good to see some decent cartoons for a change
I couldn't wait to scan my tv to new channel 2 6. 7 when I found out the METV broadcasting a new cartoon channel and they were going to play all of my favorite cartoons that grew up on because I love MeTV and I love MeTV+and now I love MeTV TOONS
I can't miss Casper! MeTV Toons you better be at Cincinnati on WLWT Right NOW!

I don’t think WLWT-TV is going to happen.
@@Musicradio77Network Dayton, Ohio, will be getting MetvToons on July 1, 2024 on its digital broadcast channel 7.4 -- which a special "best woman friend" of mine will be able to receive where she lives in northern Cincinnati!
And to encourage her to get her television rescanned so she can watch this new channel, I recorded the "Popeye and Pals" program that MetvToons presented at 3 P.M. Eastern Time on its second day of broadcasting (I was already subscribing to Frndly TV, so I was able to get this new MetvToons channel beginning on its first day of broadcasting, and I have an old digital video recorder that's able to produce recordings on DVD discs) -- and she called me as I was writing this and told me she's going to like this new MetvToons channel even better than the regualr MeTV channel she had been watching that's broadcast on digital channel 5.2 in the Greater Cincinnati area!
Still, as she and I were watching my little MetvToons "preview" presentation, I came to discover that I should have first taken the time to edit out of it the commercial that the MetvTonns presented during that hour that was for a particular safety razor that was marketed to women who like to shave their pubic hair -- HEY, THERE ARE KIDS WHO ARE WATCHING THIS CHANNEL, TOO!
@@H-B_Doraemon_Multi_Fantoons Which coast to much money, at least Tubi is free and better than others that are too much to pay.
18:14 The Harveytoon Show opening
I remember this. It was on Fox Family back in the late 1990’s. I have the DVD set from 2003 by Classic Media/Sony Wonder. Not a fan of the series, except the Casper cartoons that I watched each and every Halloween.
I remember those Harvey Toons when I first seen them in the 1960s. I wish all ducks were are strong as Baby Huey. No one will want to hunt them.
Hey I just remembered, I think HarveyToons was also on FOX Family Channel!😂🤣❤️📺🎶👍🏻
7:19- originally, this segued into the Paramount Pictures end title.
Thanks for the video
I been so excited to see MeTv Toon every since I first heard it announced
But I haven’t been able to see it either it’s not available in my area yet or I need to invest in a better antenna
Thanks again for the video
hope to see more MeTv Toons on UA-cam it’s really good idea for those who can’t watch it they can watch it on UA-cam if more is put on UA-cam
Thank you!
Boo Bop - Casper... litterbug, vandal and theif everybody 😂
Boomerang will be forgotten 🥺😢
Thanks, I didn't get this with optimum so it was disappointing to not enjoy launch day. But you preserved this 🎉
Electronica must be the early version of Rosie the Robot from The Jetsons.
I can’t wait until MeTV Toons HD finally comes to Xfinity in Minneapolis!😂🤣❤️📺🎶👍🏻
10:05 Dante’s another Ralph Phillips
44:18 The Smurfs episode is "For The Love Of Gargamel"
Live in Boston. This station was supposed to come to Boston on 62-3 but after scanning my TV air channels, it did not appear. Sometimes my TV will insert new channels after a while but so far nothing. Hope it happens soon.
WWDP broadcasts at a VERY low power, even though they are technically a full power station, in Norwell. They have a permit to move to the broadcast towers in Needham, with a stronger signal, before 2026. But who knows when that will actually happen.
Question what Kimba the White Lion ever come to MeTV tunes? What about Danger Mouse?
Metv is 🎉for the people who born in the 90s aye
Cartoon King 👑 Artoonist: You can always count on Casper for friendship
I remember Casper the ghost d..w.
Thank you for posting this but is this legal
I miss seeing this! We don’t get this channel
MeTV Toons is in my area, it's just that my antenna is just really crappy and refuses to connect
Well MeTV toons better be on Spectrum
We're not going to talk about this? XD

This is a brilliant master add and incredible move for Metv toons to add the massive Harvey toons library which was Paramount and a library that I believe the Harvey films also comes with the prior original noveltoons libraries, the New Casper Cartoon show and my favorites the many great Modern Madcaps library. They are a major compliment to the Loony toons library, MGM library, Walter Lantz, Terrytoons library which is also massive and been around maybe the longest. Terrytoons who people may wonder what they were may remember probably most famous for Mighty Mouse and Heckle and Jeckle, Deputy Dog characters. With the entire Hanna-Barbera, WB looney toons, MGM, Harveytoons etc. etc. Metv has the heavyweights in place to power the channel. On launch day I spent the day checking it out. Hanna-Barbera still rules the world and the dominant force but for me the real bonus of all is the addition of the Harveytoons. Was a really great line up.
Should’ve been noveltoons instead of Harvey
Noveltoons was like a prototype of Harveytoons.
@@H-B_Doraemon_Multi_Fantoons When these cartoons were originally shown in movie theaters in the 1950s, they opened with a scene showing a jack-in-the-box that had the Paramount Pictures' "mountaintop" logo on it, and then the clown would pop out of the jack-in-the-box and unfold the word "Noveltoons."
But when Paramount Pictures later sold its inventory of animated cartoons to television syndicators, they did so on the condition that their "mountaintop" logo be removed from their cartoons -- so on a Betty Boop cartoon I recently saw on MetvToons, it was supposed to have been presented by "UM&M TV," rather than by Paramount Pictures.
And as for the "Harvey" comic-book characters that Paramount Pictures made so many animated cartoons of, that company even went as far as to have its "Famous Studios" animated cartoon studio produce all new openings for them with a big letter "H" on the front of the jack-in-the-box replacing the Paramount Pictures' "mountaintop" logo, and then the clown would pop out of the jack-in-the-box and unfold the words "Harvey Films" instead of "Noveltoons" (and followed by the word "Harveytoon" on some of those cartoons).
These animated cartoons were then first broadcast on Sunday afternoons in the year 1959 on the ABC television network's "Matty's Funday Funnies" program, which was hosted by the animated character "Matty Mattel" and his "Sister Belle" -- and commercials for the Mattel Toy Company's toy of that time would be presented during that program's commercial breaks.
So how do I get this channel?
yea i wish i had metv toons but i dont have it in henrico
Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow. Why is this cartoon redub?
Because it was due to the character having a stereotypical black voice back then and so in order to remove that, they had to redubbed the cartoons that starred Buzzy
@@LooneyFan They could have at least made the dub actually good
@@LooneyFan
Unfortunately, all the Harveytoons got this treatment in the early 90’s due to rights issues with the original music. Sometime later, they got those cleared up and the original soundtracks returned. In 1998 however, the Buzzy toons reverted back to the redubs as shown here due to PC concerns at that time. It’s been rumored by some that according to Jerry Beck they may revert to the original soundtracks to Buzzy, though don’t take my word from it.
@@Gemz-wh9zb I first heard it & I'm like, what the heck happened? This is so far from the original it's a sin. I get the whole stereotypical voice & all that, but my lord it is terrible. There was no effort to make it work & it shows.
@@josecrane4132 It's hard to do Katnip's voice even after Katnip's voice actors death.
I'm curious why they don't show the same cartoons on UA-cam that they do on your regular tv on channel 26.7 because I'm looking at the cartoon droopy on my TV on MeTV TOONS but I'm also looking at Casper on my cell phone on UA-cam so I'm curious why they don't show the same cartoon on the tv that they do on your phone
Dave the childish dad be like in 50:14
0:22 Harvey FIlms?
yeah
@@egorychRYTP It was a rare variant, because of the “Matty’s Funday Funnies” name was attached since it was part of the show that ran on ABC from 1959 through 1962. After the series ended, it went into syndication as “Casper & Company” where the “Harvey Films” name was still remains and replaced it with the letter “H”, and that remained into the 1970’s and 1980’s. It would appeared on home video releases by Worldvision Home Video and on Public Domain VHS tapes that contains “Boo Moon”, “Seapreme Court”, “Spooks Over Africa”, “Crazytown” and “Pest Pupil”.
@@Musicradio77Network Yes. (Also. From Jerry Beck Garage Sale Paramount 50s DVD)
Aw, no! They changed the voices! I was hoping for the original Buzzy Crow dub! The bird's voice didn't even sound stereotypical in the original dub! Well, that does it. I'm sticking to the Buzzy Crow cartoons on UA-cam! At least I can have some real entertainment there!
