The Queen’s funeral: what we can expect over the next 10 days ► www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/sep/08/the-queens-funeral-what-we-can-expect-over-the-next-10-days
Dear Guardian News. This tribute u put together is very racist. U captioned it as World Leaders. Why haven't you captured the video tribute of at least one African President? Are we not qualified to be seen as World leaders? Is it only Japan and the European countries and Australia that are qualified to be called World leaders? We Africans and people of African descent make a fair number of territories which were once under the Queen in the Commonwealth. If you are doing this to us, it is totally bad and racist.
If she was still alive, she would say: "Alas, we are all mortal. Cry not, for I have lived a meaningful and fruitful life. I am thankful for all the time I had spend with all of you, but my time has come."
A Queen loved by many. She's in a better place now. My condolences to the family, I am saying this now as a fellow human being, sharing this planet with you.
My grandfather got a letter from the queen on his hundredth and it was the first time I had ever seen him break down and cry. It was that day I realised how much the queen meant to people, she wasn’t just a figurehead, she was her nation’s greatest pride and honour. Rest In peace your majesty and thank you for your 70 years of service
The day she made her speech when she was younger, she promised this. “I declare before you all my whole life, wether it be long or short, shall be divided to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong.” She promised she would stay queen until the day she died, she was a woman of her word and she kept it. Long live Queen Elizabeth II ❤️

I cannot find the words to say how much respect and love I had for my Queen. I think a quote from a former Prime Minister of my country sums up my feelings. "I Did But See Her Passing By…And Yet I’ll Love Her Till I Die"
As an Australian Queen Elizbeth has always been important to all of us and when I heard about her passing I felt my whole body freeze and ran down the hall to tell my mum, we were both devasted
I have been thinking nonstop about this since we all first heard about it and I wasn’t sure what to say and now I finally realised out of the millions of words in every language there isn’t any words to properly describe her. Her majesty had an insanely rare impact on the entire world and not just the realms within the Commonwealth but every country everywhere, there has never been a monarch like her and I’m not sure if there ever will be another quite like her. I knew she wasn’t immortal but I never actually expected her to go, she seem not above death but like death couldn’t touch her, at least she died peacefully in her happy place. Thank you ma’am, everything you have done will never be forgotten, may you Rest In Peace with your beloved rock our Queen 💖
Sadly there will always be people who are spiteful, as some of the comments here show. Me, I remember and honour Elisabeth Windsor not as a queen per se, but as a fellow human being, a person whose greatest contribution to life was made quietly, off camera and behind the scenes. Now at last she is free, of a burden none of us will ever have to carry. Free to be herself. Sleep well, lass. See you later.

Agreed, it's a time of mourning it's a shame some people desperately need attention with negativity during a time that should be respected, she was still a grandmother, mother, a queen to our nation, a woman of great power, respect, talent and class that many looked up to. RIP Liz, may she rest knowing she fulfilled her promise she made at 20 of a lifelong reign. No one is perfect but she was certainly unique and kind to many.
Among monarchs, Queen Elizabeth II will surely be remembered as one of the best. She did her duty and represented her country (and the Commonwealth) to perfection.
I'll always be against the idea of a monarchy, but even I have to say that Her Majesty was an incredible lady, and throughout unimaginable change and hardships in the world, she was the one constant. This is a very strange time now, it will take everyone a lot of getting used to.

When I think of the Queen two words come to mind: continuity and stability. That's the major benefit of a constitutional monarchy - the monarch embodies the state while the head of government is just that - the head of government. She was an excellent monarch.
The Queen will be sadly missed. She was an ambassador for the British people, she was the only person in history where every citizen has personally met her. I cannot find the words to say how much respect and love I had for my Queen. I think a quote from a former Prime Minister of my country sums up my feelings.
"I Did But See Her Passing By…And Yet I’ll Love Her Till I Die"
As an Australian Queen Elizbeth has always been important to all of us
and when I heard about her passing I felt my whole body freeze and ran down the hall to tell my mum, we were both devasted
