NCR in Primm when the legion wins: we need to get out of here, sorry guys. Primm slim when the legion wins: HERE THEY COME, HERE THEY COME MY BROTHERS, FIGHT MY BROTHERS!
NV was my first ever Fallout game, so in my first playthrough I did alot of ''bad'' choices despite trying to get a good ending. So after completing it the first time I made a second attempt, determined to right the wrong so to say, not realizing that in the world of Fallout there is no good or bad, only lots of grey...
Best overall is NCR. Primm gets to be a major spot with a slight tax increase. Next is Meyers. In game text says Primm is back kicking after he gets into position. He seems to be a good guy and I doubt the bodies that end up on the road are innocents. Primm Slimm is the next one. However Primm has a risk of getting sacked by raiders since hes slow
For me FNV will be always be a great game to roleplayer or 1st timer playing this game So much endings and bad/"okay" endings Perfect to tell how world isnt rainbow and sunshine
The music's the problem. They should have used one that wasn't quite as melancolic; in order that it would have felt just as interesting and involving, whilst not so eerie and saddening.
@@TheTriangle444 He's also a very expensive and very powerful model of Protectron. Unlike the dime store units the department store's in Boston bought, Primm Slim was built to last and built to kill.
The amount of endings for just one town clearly shows us that Obsidian are the far superior developers to Bethesda. We need another game in this spirit!
I agree. I don't hate Bethesda fallout games. I just find the quests a lot less intresting. Like in Fallout 4 we didn't even get a ending slide show. Everybody got the same ending cutscene.
honestly bethesda is a very capable company, hell take for example morrowind who was put a similar quantity of love than fallout new vegas and you see that their style has changed, i mean they still make great games but they tryed to mainstream it without the actual need to. i honestly think that if fallout 4 had some characteristic of new vegas and skyrim of oblivion or morrowind they could do just as good. you know mix the good of each one. edit: sorry for bad english im not from the us.
I like the NCR ending for Primm because of a variety of reasons: -NCR gains more of a foothold -Communities along I-15 benefit from merchant traffic, while collected taxes are used to maintain the NCR’s operations in the Mojave -Primm becomes a major stopping point on I-15, indicating that, should the NCR ending be canonical, Primm grows from a small trade town into a large prosperous city -As Mcgee (NCR sheriff) is from The Hub, it is possible for many traders from the Hub to set up shop there. Additionally, if Primm residents gain voting rights, they can elect their own representatives into any form of NCR government.
Meyer is basically a more grey morality version of that guy from Junktown, the Sheriff one. He's basically in between the one we got in final Fallout 1 game and a version of Sheriff in development(the one who is mega ruthless)
Way I see it, Meyers is pretty much wasteland Dirty Harry, and compared to a ineffectual robot and a military, seems like the best option to me for anything other than an NCR ending.
Legion also seems pretty good if you dont give prim a sheriff. "Constant watchful eye" doesn't seem as bad as heavy taxes or extortion. Not saying Legion is good... but in this one instance they'd be the best choice.
@@iamtheteapot7405 but at the ending stated,if the NCR win the town became a major trading hub with actually make it pretty nice. Being taxes doesn't seem bad when you make 5 to 10 times compare to without them.
In my opinion, if the NCR designates martial law on Primm and they win at Hoover Dam, it will be the best ending for the town despite taxation, because Primm actually became a major stopping point for trade and such, making it prosper. However for other endings aside from the Legion, Primm suffers from either anarchic independence or overtax from House. Meyers is the best if the House/Independent route is chosen because he never leaves the town like the NCR after he is elected (even though some poor hooligan may end up dead with no evidence). Doing the Legion route while he is sheriff dooms the town which is the second worst ending for it. Primm Slimm? In all honesty, I love the idea of a robot running the town but it has it's own limitations as well.
Primm slim always seems to be the easiest and best ending for prim , kind of surprised they didn’t do ending with primm slim and the ncr or other factions guess they just destroy him ?
People don't respect a slow moving robot. They probably scrap him once he opposes their takeover. After all, House made the Securitrons superior to the protections.
The irony is that primm is not that logistically or economically important, yet all sides keep fighting to hold control over it. it’s just a town that’s caught up in the middle of two (three) super powers, there is no happy ending in the end of the day for it.
I never got why the sheriff is an option exclusive of the NCR. The Legion wouldn't have a separate sheriff because of their totalitarianism, but the NCR would very much benefit from having Primm Slimm or Meyers since they're local and don't have to provide leadership and public protection entirely. Slimm and the NCR would be the "perfect" ending, and Meyers and the NCR is the more bittersweet but still very good ending. I feel Meyers is he kind to follow the rules when it works, but will do what needs to be done regardless of what the rules say. That's a very New Vegas Mojave kind of ending.
Glad Prim Slimm I chose Prim Slimm this run. He seems like the best option. Fuck Deputy Beagle getting fired is just a plus... He seems super incompetent
We got one "Sheriff" that works only through bureaucratic means, a former sheriff with a shady history, and a robot that's programmed to do their job. Gee, I wonder which one I'll pick for Sheriff?
@@trouslinabone yeah that pretty much it, if you don't help the tension between free side and NCR citizen the Kings would attack them and house would leave the Kings alone due to him seeing it as a sign of loyalty.
