Hi
Quick question: can I have that PC? It runs the games I play perfectly
Acer bifrost a770 costs 250 dollars and outperforms a 4070. Not to be rude but more performance for less money and you went nvidia?...this isn't geared towards the viewers best benefit. Intel already beat out AMD's ray tracing and FSR with xess. I believe this is why there's still a pricing problem. If you want actual price to performance folks.. get a cart together and do research on MOST CURRENT benchmarks.
Hi please build me my dream pc build I'm from South Africa I live in a village❤🙏🙏🙏
I built the same system with a 3060 and it was basically bulletproof. Sold the system to my roommate and he has had literally no issues with it. solid build my guy
Man I love your energy in videos, it really feels like you are having a great time! Thanks brother!
i'm literally spec'ing out a 4060 build for my nephew for christmas, this is great. Thanks!
I’m overly thankful for this guy, didn’t know nothing not long ago and now I’m getting a pc soon, thanks for all the budget builds ima be using this one
i love watching all the new videos expecially the budget pcs
You are absolutely great at this. Nice energy, not too overdone or fake, just you being bright. I love your editor's sense of humour as well (this is Marcus trying to install DDR4 RAM into a DDR5 motherboard / GPU: "no click, like the motherboard ABSORBED it" + edited: "my favourite bit" all stretched). Only here for the Palit 4060 installl, but subbed for the quality.
With all the 4060ti bashing on the Internet (I get why), then showing what the 4060 can do, acts as a reminder to not get all your info from the enthusiasts. Kinda like when researching cars. The reviewers who get to test drive so many vehicles are going to naturally form biases.
the pairing of the 124f with the 4060 gave me phenomenal benchmarks. ATI eat your heart out.
Sound of static bag is actually quite satisfying imo.
i need this video and i got it, thanks dude 👍🏻
Love the videos man! Keep up the great work!🙏🏼👊🏼🍻
He has the Best thumbnails!!! Even a 4060 can cause him to make a face like that. Amazing
Thanks for this video, we built this PC successfully this weekend (03/24). Our starting point was zero knowledge, and following this video (and refering to the manuals throughout) we managed to get it working first time, much to my suprise. Lessons from our build experience - neither the CPU nor cooler come with a tube of thermal paste (I assumed they would). Also the Windows install (which I learned how to do frrom yoru other video!) got stuck at the WiFi page. In the end I had to carry the box to my router in order to connect to a LAN cable, in order to progress. Once Windows had installed and updated the WiFi card was visible and worked fine. The whoel thing would have been much easier with a long neck philips screwdriver as shown - as my Wera one was very fiddly to use for certain screws! I also bought three Thermalite RGB fans, so the cabling isn't quite as neat, but we're playing Fornite and Vaulthunters - thanks PcCentric!
Thank you for this video. I ordered MSI ventus 2x oc 4060 but still doubting if it was a right choice. Returnal in 1440p with some RT is well enough for me. I also want to make it in tiny case now!
Marcus: I am a man who learns from my mistakes
Me looking at him every time he’s trying to fit an AIO: sure…
Too accurate
I guess this the pc im gonna build thanks pccentric 🙏🏾
love the placement of the wifi card on that motherboard, easy future upgrade to wifi 7
This is actaully awesome. Ive been looking at all sorts of pc builds but i think this is something ill go for as a start. Would this be very upgradable?
Thank you very much for the video, I considered building a PC with this 12400 but the game I play is CS2, you can put the bench in your next videos please, And for programming, is it better to go on this processor?
Happy New Year everyone
I’m waiting for this budget
W Editor Kyle!
Who is Kyle? It's KARL!
Between the available graphics cards available at the low end then the RTX4060 is ruled out in favour of the A770 for an integral intel PC or the RX7600 for a hybrid build, AMD/Intel in this case
Which bios are you set at ? I am P 2.12 . would you upgrade to P 4.0 ?? Great video 👍👍
literally just about to start building this build for my daughters xmas present except i got her the white fractal pop air and white gigabyte 3 fan aero coupleed woth asus b760 prime plus. also got her the gold plus 750 corsair psu
Literally about to do a 4060 build in a SFF case and legit it's gonna have performance similar to a ps5 so I'm happy with that 🙌
4060ti is better than a ps5
@@yoyoyo3531tbh even a 3060 is better than ps5, 4060ti is years ahead
Looks and performas really good for tha price!!!!
I know the 4060 gets a lot of flak, but it’s a pretty decent card, especially for someone like me starting on a new build and upgrading from a Series X. The fact that it gets over 60 FPS in Starfield using DLSS is basically enough to sell me on the card since that is the game I’m most into at the moment. Watching videos of the 7600, it usually sits 20ish frames lower in the game. I know the 8 GB of VRAM is disappointing, but by the time I run into other games that need more power/VRAM, I’ll likely be ready to upgrade anyways and can get something like a 5080/6080 when those drop in the coming years.
Nice case
I've been on the fence, Costco has a cyberpower right now that is almost this exact build. It has the 13 gen CPU, and a 2tb gen 4nvme, everything else pretty much the same. It's on sale right now for $899. Think this video just convinced me to pull the trigger. I can't even replicate their unit for that price
Can you please make video on the parts you’ll need to make a cpu compatible with editing content vids and gaming. I want the phanteks nv5 case. Just need the components to build it correctly.
Might build this for my son he plays alot of fortnite at 1080p would this be good for that ? I wanted to build one with him rather than buy a prebuild 😊
I may try a cpu cooler fan , sometime.
Not a aio , on my backup
underrated cooler fr
I heard the thermals and airflow are terrible on the case, can you advise?
I built mine for a little over 900 and I have 32gb of ddr5 at 6000mts and a full size atx board i paired it with a rtx 4060 and a i5 12400f
i recently built the same rig with i3 12100f and it is performing wonderfully!
I3 13100f is very underrated
@@denzelyeess4 core 8 thread in almost 2024 that’s why. The i3 14100f is decent though because it’s 6 cores 12 threads.
I’m getting me another pc next year, Should I build this one or are there better options at this price? I don’t want to spend more than this pc.
Hey! can you use the new Gigabyte C301G V2 in a video, I really like the way it looks on photos but i want to see it in a video so I can maybe buy it later for my pc
In this price range, here in Canada the 4060 is being pushed out. 6700XT is the competition from a money standpoint. The 7600 is around $50-$70 cheaper than both of those. Unless you have a personal reason to choose Team green it's not really a good card. Even a Team green loyalist needs to ask if maybe the 3060 12GB isn't the better option. 4060 is what you get in a prebuilt and that isn't based on best option. it's based on availability. I don't blame prebuilt people for going with it.
Just built a $1500 5800x, 6700xt. Probably could have done it closer to $1200 if I didn’t do as an ITX build.
Majority of steam is team green. Only game I play is Fallout 76 and there are reports on people having issues with amd as their GPU with that game. Imagine other games ....or think about what card a dev would focus on to optimize when it sees that a great great great majority on Steam are using Nvidia....
I actually build the same pc, but I changed the intel core i5 for an Intel Core i7-11700F and upgraded to 1 TB SSD
I did a 7800xt with 7800x3d pairing ! Waiting on parts to come! Excited to see the performance ! Could’ve went cheaper but couldn’t pass on the 7800x3d deal! Any thoughts ?
You could get 7700x and be absolutely fine (since your GPU will be your bottleneck anyway), but for extra 50$, I would take 7800x3D too. Overall great build that will last long and potentially good upgrade path for new CPU+GPU in 4 years or so.
Excellent CPU however you are GPU bottlenecked know. The required GPU’s for a 7800x3d is a 7900xtx, 4080 and 4090. The 7700x is a far better pairing for the 7800xt.
@@daniil3815His CPU will greatly outlast the GPU especially with AM5 having an upgrade path to Zen 5.
@@ZackSNetwork price to performance is better, but overall who cares. That 50$ difference isn’t enough to upgrade gpu.
@@daniil3815If that was the price difference then obviously the 7800x3d.
in general, do i have to do all the fancy stuff when i first log in, or can i get straight to playing? Yes. I am a new pc player
Hi @PC Centric, I'm wondering about the optimal time to build a PC. Should I wait for the 50 series launch, or is it a good time to proceed now? I'm aiming for a high-end system for gaming, game development, and video creation, and this will be my first upgrade in six years. Any advice would be appreciated!
I’m not pc centric but I can say that you’re gonna be waiting for 50 series until at least 2025.
If jump on a 4070 system so you don’t gotta wait that long, then when the 50 series comes out upgrade
@PcCentric what’s a good budget mouse and keyboard that you recommend?
Looking to get into PC gaming and thought i'd go with something on the more budget friendly side while still being somewhat capable, After pricing up this exact build in my currency (sales included) its $1720 (NewZealand) !! For reference a PS5 is worth $820 - Think I may need to reconsider unfortunately :/
are you from uk? really appreciate someones taking into consideration of uk prices etc
Any other case recommendations for those that want more rgb on the case
I know It's an older game but can we see some BORDERLANDS 3 tested in one of these videos. I feel It's one of the best gameplay and visuals mix in an fps
msi b650p/ryzen 7700x/32g of ddr5/3060 12g for $610. Gotta love black friday.
What do you use to benchmark?
would the motherboard hold 2 32gbs of ram? (64GB's) planning on doing some machine learning and other data science stuff with it in the future.
Nice Video! I was really surprised by the great performance of the 4060. I'm currently looking to buy a 4070. Would you recommend replacing my i5 12400 processor for gaming? Maybe with an i5 13600k? I'm already exited for new content about Intel 14. gen budget CPU's 😊
Go for 4070 if you can, but the 4060 is actually decent for its money, not crazy value but still good enough, 12400F can still handle the 4070 well
Currently using an i5 11400 with my 4070, running MW3 multiplayer at 180fps +, so yeah your 12,400 will be fine 😂
I know I'm pushing my i5, but will upgrade at some point, but still getting great numbers from it.
Thats at 1440p
Ok great 😂, thank you very much for your sugesstions! I'm glad i can keep it 🙂 (also going to use 1440p)
@@Cyac_360 by the way, that's graphics settings set to high.
1440p will get the graphics cards working harder and give the cpu an easier job. Even fortnite runs well, bit more cpu intensive so I'm led to believe. So you'll be just fine. Go 4070 over 4060, power draw is about the same so your psu won't need to be changed but performance is a step up. I upgraded from a 3060ti.
What are you currently using?
So I just got the 4060 and it’s my first time building a pc. But the picture doesn’t show on my monitor the lights and fans turn on but the boot up light stays on. Could you assist in anyway? Thank you!
hows it possible for you to make the exact video i need right when i open youtube dude

I am trying to upgrade my cutmrrent relatively but rig currently but I am struggling. I currently have the Omen Obelisk 875 and I need o upgrade it fr 400 pounds. What should I do?
Idk what the fascination with ddr5 at this level is when ddr4 16gb actually performs better in most cases for gaming.
Would this still be good with same 16gb ddr5 ram instead of 32gb
I found all these parts in Thailand (where i live) and it costs 627 pounds, do you think thats good to still do?
Hello , My question was if I waill play all the AAA title in 1440p max setting on 4060 , will it damage graphic card
What is the best way to upgrade the Omen Obelisk 875 under 400 pounds?
I recommend the 12600k as you will get a pretty good increase in fps and price isnt bad
No because it's more expensive and doesn't come with a fan.
can youmake a short how to download wifi and bluetooth driver, I have the exact pc and motherboard but i cant download it (i'm new on this sport btw :) )
Out of curiosity do you ever make pcs for people?😂
Is this good for video editing ?
When will I be able to game on pc like this 😭😭😭😭😭😭

what monitor does he use in this video?
The 3060 is still worth buying atm. :P
oh my god, it's basically the pc i have in the basket right now xD i'm gonna use 1080p monitor anyway so it seems just like a perfect rig.
btw. right now i can buy 12400f for 120 pounds, is 13400f worth 80 pounds more? Asking just out of curiosity, how big is a difference, because 120 quids for 12400f is an irrefusable deal xD
Technically it is much better in Multi-Core tasking by 35%, you can look it up on internet how it performs one on one
New Egg has the 13400f listed for 200$ right now and 12400f as 160$ don’t know if that’s helpful since you’re using Brit money
I thought you warned us against buying 4060’s

I7 is overkill for a 4060ti😂
is this motherboard compatible with the ryzen 7600?
Can you upgrade the GPU, I'm gonna build this since I have the cash right now, so in a year can I upgrade the GPU for a 4080? bur my build its with a ryzen 7 8700x3d since i got one for a friend.
Got a 4060 for 160 USD for black friday 😂😂
Is it trustworthy to buy a 4060 on amazon as of today in 2023 coming into 2024? I'm trying to settle on a 4060 and I'm just debating on it's reviews and trust
If you prefer to play at 1080p with high settings and dlss frame generation to maximize RT, you should go for it
What would I need to run fortnite at 240fps
Underrated gpu😅
I like that James Geekawhat.
I dont hate the 4060, what I don't like is Nvidia nor AMD just adding 2 extra gbs to a minimum of 10 in 2023 ISNT to much to ask and wouldn't cost them anything to do.....thats why I'm not a fan of the 4060.
whats the monitor called
i used the pc bottleneck calculator with this and its got around 8% bottleneck. not good. i would go for 16gb ram rather than 32 and get a more powerful processor like the i5-12600KF. other than that its a pretty solid build. also i would go with the montech air 100 argb cuz its only £50 and it looks way better
I think the 4060 isn't a great product just because of its price. At $300 retail, I would expect it to have at least 12GB of VRAM like the RX 6700 XT has. At that performance range, I wouldn't consider using RTX and I would imagine a lot of people who want this card would be aiming for 1080p, so DLSS isn't gonna be great unless it's a necessity. So, for gaming purposes, I think it makes way more sense to go for something like a 6700 XT, which sells for the same amount as a 4060 while having similar performance and 50% more VRAM.
AMD is always the way
hi! you seem to know what you’re talking about so i wanted to ask you a question. I’m thinking of doing this build, i think this is a good start for me bc I haven’t had a PC in a decade, but the PSU 650 bronze is out of stock. Is it worth it getting the 750W?? it seems a bit overkill i think since this build doesn’t have that big of a power consumption?? It’s less expensive too which makes me wonder why.. I also found a asus dual RX 6700 XT like you were talking about, which is good for 1440p.. Should i get a monitor that’s 1080p or should i get a higher definition one?
Right now, i’m looking at :
Case: cooler master Q300L V2
PSU : NZXT C650 Bronze (though it’s out of stock rn)
CPU : intel core i5- 12400F
SSD: Samsung 980 1T (instead of 500gb from the build in this video)
GPU : Asus RX 6700 XT OC edition 12GB GDDR6 (instead of the Palit Dual RTX 4060 8GB)
Mobo: ASRock B760M Pro R5
Cooler: Deepcool AK400
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB 52000MHz
what do you think?
@@morwenk4910 So in my opinion, getting the highest wattage (and still well rated) PSU that you can is always a good idea, so that if you decide to upgrade in the future, you don't have to worry as much about having to get a new higher wattage PSU to sufficiently power the system. For example, when I built my first PC, I got a 750W PSU and a 2080 Super. A couple of years later, I upgraded to a 3080, but if I had gotten a 650W PSU at the start, I would've had to buy a higher wattage PSU when I upgraded to the 3080, but since my PSU was 750 watts from the start, that was enough to power the 3080 with the rest of my system with no other upgrades necessary. Also take in mind that just cause a PSU can supply more wattage, doesn't mean that it will use all of it all the time. If a system needs 500 watts to run while you're gaming, it will only use 500 watts even if the PSU has higher wattage capabilities.
As for the GPU and monitor question, it's going to depend on a few things. Can you spend a little more, or is the budget for the GPU strictly in the $300 range? What kind of features would you want to use (like DLSS, Frame Gen, Ray Tracing)? And the most important question, what kind of games are you gonna be playing?
For the monitor, 1080p is definitely easy to get cheap while still being decent these days. In my opinion though, 1440p is the perfect sweet spot between image quality and performance, and 1440p monitors are more accessible and affordable than they've ever been, and they offer a much better image quality than 1080p does. Furthermore, if you were to get a 6700 XT, that's more than capable of playing games at 1440p. A 4060 technically is too, but it only having 8GB of VRAM is a red flag for if you're wanting to use 1440p for a while as that resolution demands more VRAM than 1080p.
Let me add this in here for the features. If I'm assuming $300 is the strict budget for the GPU and you're playing at 1440p, there are a few different things you can do:
1. Get the 6700 XT. Right now it's the best price to performance card out there, and it's right at $300.
2. If you want to use RTX, Frame Gen or DLSS (DLSS is NVIDIA exclusive), then save up and get a used 3080, 3080 Ti or a 4070. I say that because you will not get a card at $300 that will give you good RTX performance. Frame Gen only works on the 4000 series NVIDIA cards. If you want to use it in supported games, I would only do so if you're already getting at least 60-70 FPS before you turn it on as it adds a bit of latency which can feel kinda bad if the base frame rates are lower. DLSS is a better upscaler than AMD's FSR, but FSR is in more games at the moment and can be used on any GPU.
I realized I've typed in way too much, so let me summarize.
1. Getting a higher wattage PSU is only a good thing and won't cost much more than getting a lower one (like getting a 750-850w instead of 650w).
2. Go with a 1440p monitor, preferably one with at least a 144Hz or higher refresh rate (The Monitors Unboxed YT channel recently uploaded a video on the current best monitors for the price across both 1080p and 1440p resolutions)
3. Get the 6700 XT, or save up/spend more and get a better NVIDIA card (The 4060 is bad value for what you get, especially at 1440p).
4. Additionally, I would recommend getting a 2TB NVMe SSD over a 1TB as they're currently at their best prices and aren't much more expensive. Also, I would recommend getting 6000MHz RAM over 5200MHz, also with CL 36 or 30 speeds if you can. If you can't afford or don't want to pay for the better RAM or bigger SSD, that's fine. For the money in this case, the most important thing will be the GPU.
There's no game that doesn't run fine on 8GB, with the exception of AMD as that needs more memory due to inefficiency. For nVidia 8GB is fine.
@FietserRTCW But how long until games need more than 8GB? We're already starting to see games that want more than 8GB even at 1080p High Settings, not to mention that a lot of people are swapping to 1440p which demands more VRAM. 8GB has been fine for a long time now, but games are getting more and more demanding (and unoptimised), especially since devs don't have to make games with the last gen systems in mind anymore, so I really don't think getting a new card with 8GB of VRAM is a good idea.
I spent $90 more and got an i5 13500 instead. I need the extra juice or 1080p gaming
Thank you for your videos I have recently purchased my parts and they are very good. Probably some OLEDs if you don’t work much on your PC.
Why did you go with slow 6000mhz ram Intel benefits from fast ram as well? 7000mhz or higher is the only benefit of going DDR5. Also I would only recommend a 4090 if you are going for 4K because it bottlenecks at 1440p.
