I downgraded from RX7900XT to RTX4060 and this thing can hold stable 70-100fps on 3440x1440 with Medium-High settings with dlss and sometimes with FG on. I'm impressed. BTW. I downgraded because my RX7900XT had issues with hotspot up to 110°C and never come back from warranty. Reseller still don't give me my money back so I bought rtx4060 yesterday. @@fili0pro339 hmm, there are a lot of things that I can suggest you. Depends on the settings in the game, if the settings are high, there will be no difference, if the settings are low, there will be 10+% difference, but not in all games If you need more FPS, it's better to save money by buying i5 12400F and 32GB DDR4, then you will have enough money for RTX 4060 Ti, which is 20-30% more powerful than RTX 4060.

I'm really impressed about my 4060, it performs so well at power consumption and temps and i'm more than amaze. For 2-3 games that i play especially Fortnite it goes beyond expections paired with 5800x3d.
It’s the best configuration for 1080p competitive titles. Cs2, valorant, fortnite etc. Also very good for triple AAA games with ray tracing and DLSS. Cyberpunk, Rdr2, spiderman MM, cod warzone etc

Those are great temps, idk if you are using the ASUS ROG Strix 4060 that has premium thermals, + the i5 12400F that is one of the coolest processors, you prob have one of the best PC setup in terms of temperature. And you can go even beyond with extreme cooling on the case and extra fans, ac and a normal fan on your room. That PC is gonna be ice cold even with playing gta 6 and its going to live a decade.
Using a i5-13400f with the 4060(Asus Dual OC). CPU has reached like 52c at max load so far(normal is around 40-45c) and GPU will reach around 60c while remaining quiet. Probably not very future proof, but I don't touch many games anyway. My old gtx 670 and i5-3570k could no longer handle PoE and temps were getting bonkers with modded Skyrim. Going to be more than enough for PoE 2, and BG3, when it's on sale.
