Been fighting myself not to get one because of my dog. But finally this video gives me the approval to get one. My dog doesn't eat plants and I plan to have it up high. Everything I was looking for
i would certainly like to see how you switch over the poles for the plants as they get taller without hurting the plant in the process. more good information today.
Great idea! I need to do this to a few of my plants! Upcoming video! Thank you so much for inspiration 🙏♥️ and also thank you for watching and commenting 💕🪴
Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️🪴 I’m getting ready to do a make your own Sphagnum moss pole video…I really love them and I want to put a few of my plants on them. Tune in for that one too🪴❤️
Gorgeous plant! How do you get the leaves to all face out in the right direction? I've tried wrapping them around, as well as just tying them straight up the pole, and both ways the leaves face up/down/sideways and it just looks messy 😔
Hi Linda! Thank you for watching my videos! I rotate my plants, I think this might have something to do with the leaves going in the right direction? :-) maybe it is also because I am always staking it on a pole and the leaves don't have a chance to go anywhere else? haha I am not sure, actually. But that's my best guess anyway. . . thanks again for watching !
Great video just bought a Swiss Cheese 2 day's ago today we have rain here in Atlanta so it's going to get it's first taste of rainwater : I have the same Neem Oil have not used it yet
Hi James! Neem is great! My adansonii responds well…don’t put in direct sunlight though🤣 lesson learned long time ago 🤣 Thank you for watching and commenting🪴💕 I appreciate your support!
You have mentioned several times that you prefer Jack's fertilizer. Can you please tell us which one you use on your houseplants. I would like to try it, but not sure which to order. Thanks
I use 20 20 20 complete fertilizer...I will be selling it on my website soon. I am going to launch my website in about a month. Check it out if you want to be notified when I launch😊🌱🍀🪴💕
Wonderful plants! How I wish mine will become like that. I have a question, my adansonii became droopy. I do not know what to do. I checked the roots, and they are fine. There are no signs of pests. What to I do?
Hello! It may be over watered or underwatered? Try propagating it and that might help perk it up. Also, it might have weakened vines due to weight? Propagating it will help. Let me know what you ended up doing. Thank you for watching and commenting❤️🪴
Hello , stunning plants , always enjoy your videos , when they try to climb higher than top of stake , are you trimming off to keep lower than top of stake ?
Sometimes I will trim them! Its up to you though really and if you want to repot the plant and get a bigger stake. It all just depends on how much space and materials I have if I chose to repot or trim!! Sometimes the plant does still look good with the leaves growing further than the stake too :)
I think with the size of round pool that you have you might be able to get one of those little two-headed type screw things you know they have threads on your end and drill yourself a hole in each piece and threaded it in,and then thread the top piece on put some wood glue on it and I think you should be fine doing that because it's pretty strong you don't have to go to tall to start start with if you don't want to but I think that might work I kind of wish I had that option with some of mine cuz I need more length to but I didn't use that type of a pole that would allow that anyways this video is perfect because I have one and I'm having troubles with mine a little bit with brown and yellow spots and yeah I do have some big leaves on its I haven't had it too long so thank you I appreciate it cuz I've got one of these and having a little issues with so thanks for the help
STILL LOVE THCHANNEL! LONG TIME TO TALK RIGTH? I NEED YOUR HELP WITH MY ALDESONI! I HAVE ONE THAT HAS FINALLY GOT TALL ENOUGH TO REPOT. I DID SO AND OVER NIGHT, ALL OF A SUDDENT A LOT OF LEAVES HAVE TURNED COMPLETELY YELLOW. THE ROOTS ARE FINE AND THERE ARE NO PESTS. WHAT IS HAPPENING! IS IT THE REPOT THAT FREAKED IT OUT?
Hello Megan! Thank you for your kind words! Adansonii can be put in a pole anytime. Use a moss pole. They are easy to make. I will post a video on how to do it 🪴💚♥️…. The root rot question you emailed: I cannot tell from the picture you sent whether your plant has root rot. The only way you can tell that is by taking it out of the pot and examining the roots. If you have any other questions, let me know!
Hi Jeanette! I moved my Rojo Congo to another spot, but will move it into camera soon! I move my plants around in the winter months to get them sunlight and to make space for my monsters🌿💚🌱❤️
Hi Dara! I’m posting one tonight! Sorry I didn’t post yesterday...I was out of town and left my external hard drive at my moms! she’s mailing it to me. So I went ahead and filmed another video for you guys! Thank you for your support and for watching! I also post to my story here on UA-cam if you want some plant eye candy 🤣🪴🌿💚
If it’s the concentrate, follow the instructions and I would add maybe a drop of blue dawn dish soap, or the preferably, the Bonide turbo spreader sticker (it acts as a separation agent so the oil doesn’t clump up as bad). I tried the concentrate in the beginning, but it’s a pain in the butt, it’s tons easier to just buy the pre-mixed...
@@jayesbeautifulchaos2244 hi thanks well I bought one off Amazon not sure if it’s concentrate and I did add dr. Bronners soap so who knows do I try dish soap instead ?
Thank you for the video! I just got a new lovely Monstera adansonii- it is a 'teen plant' - not tall, but lots of leaves. I am waiting until it starts growing vines - so I fox it to the poll hoping that mine will grow as large as yours..😊
@@Jackson-nw5fi You can get the same quality at a department store for a quarter of a price. Small plant shops don’t even charge that. She buys wholesale for most of her plants doesn’t grow them herself. It’s a rip off not “quality”.
Oooh yes facts, I can't buy from planterina anymore. She had a 40% sale recently and i had two plants in my cart. I closed the page though when I saw that the shipping was 19.00. Nope
I tested the humidity issues. At 99% humidity, the new growth was fully healthy. At 15-25% low humidity, the leaves started yellowing out. One container was in a western window; one container was under LED lights....humidity highly recommended for adansonii.
I love research.... Thank you for sharing this...I recently have had issues with my scindapsus pictus and realized too late it was because of humidity....I moved it away from a humidifier an south facing window and it stopped growing like a weed. Now it just looks like a weed. 😥😢Straggly... I am doing a video on humidity and “plant surgery/ makeover solutions”
I just bought my first monstera adansonii…you’re videos give me tips and hopes of growing it large and beautiful like yours! 🥰😍 new subby!

What kind of a humidifier do you use?
If you look at the description box, there are brands mentioned..
Hi I started using neem oil but I made my own and it started to clog my spray bottle what do I do to prevent that?

Of your humidifier
If humidity in house always over 80%~90%,the residents who live in the house will sick, definitely!
I can't imagine what the electric and gas bill would be either :-) !
