I love watching your videos again and again. Good trick to use rooting hormone and Jack's to induce aerial roots. Just ordered rooting hormone. Could you throw some more light on the quantity and frequency to use it along with the Jack's.

Hi again, Chris! You'll love it...Jack's is a great product! My plants are getting so big that I have to frequently cut and propagate. My daughter and I were talking about how I might have to buy a greenhouse to put all of our propagations...it is getting VERY jungle-like in my home, haha!

I will use the same little table for the plant stand and found an antique apple basket to set the liner pot in to then set the nursery pot into. And combining the three plants. On my shop the garage I also found a short stubby Cream can to use some where as another plant stand. Hummmm But where. Hahahaha OH and just got notice the Jacks has shipped. Arrival supposed to be July 2 just in time to do my next watering. I LOVE the jungle vibe going on in my old hip[[ie/boho house space. Hahahaha I never grew up. Once a hippie always a hippie. YES I am that old.

Please share how you water all those giant monsteras? Mine are getting too heavy to lift out and fully water it. But then top watering leads to the water just running through and collecting in the pot
Hello! I water from the top and can’t take them out of the pot. My pots have a built in reservoir in the bottom (got them at Home Depot and Lowes) , they are also on a dish with wheels haha so the extra spills out the bottom of the pot. Hello! Thank you for watching my videos! Root rot has never been an issue for me. I put about 4 inches to 6 in bottom, depending on size of the pot that I am up-potting to. I let it dry out on top of soil about 2 to 3 inches before watering. I use a well draining soil mixture, potting mix. Hope this helps! Come back and see me again soon!
Nice vid but i'm confused about if they can stay indoors with just window light. I have a couple different variations outsides some are 8 feet tall. obviously i have many options for and indoor cutting, but when I do they just dont seem healthy,. do you give the every couple day outside rotaTIONS to get more sun?

Hi Ronnie, Brown spots on a Monstera could mean a couple of things. What is your lighting situation? Fertilizer regiment? Pest past? Treatment regiment of pests or to prevent pests? And, do you have pets? And is there a heating vent or AC vent nearby? Last Q: have you taken it outdoors?
plantluxxe thank you for the response! I just got it a week ago and it looked nice and green. It’s not in direct sunlight, no ac or fan hitting it. The soil was moist so I didn’t water it until two days ago. How would I know if it’s infected with something? Just saw that a new leaf growing turned soft/mushy almost at the root 💔 it was one of the ones with the brown spots. I have two pugs and I have not taken it outside.
Yes they can grow these in water… however I’m not fish savvy and couldn’t tell you what fish species you could put in there with that plant 🪴? That might be something to look into! I bet that one was the Rojo Congo! It was breath taking. RIP due to rust spots. 😭😭 I plan to get another one this summer and give that a go. There so prone to rust spots though and they infect other philodendrons. I tried everything to treat that poor guy. Better luck next time💚🥲

I propagated a few Monstera cuttings. 4 to be exact. Two are growing lots of new roots. One has been in water over a month with barely any new root growth. Maybe a 1/16th of an in of one new root. But the leaves still look fine. (Is this normal?) i also have another that i put in soil to fast. Which i placed back into water. Is it ok to do this? Thanks for any help or advice.
Hi Johnny! I have done that before and everything came out okay ...I have also tried sphagnum moss. Each one is good, but I have the most success in water or sphag ... soil works for me too....I did many propagations that way. I have so many now that I’m running out of room 😂 . Thanks for watching!

Hello! It sounds like an over watering or an underwatering situation. If it were me, I would propagate it. I would also repot it with new soil. And, I would recommend a water meter as well. Be sure you have it in enough sunlight--these plants are notorious for browning at the tips when they aren't getting enough light.
Hi! Do not cut them....the plants needs them for all kinds of reasons! bury them in the soil if you don't like the looks of them. They are really helpful to have when you are propagating! Thanks again for watching!
Hi! No you don’t need to wash off neem oil after use! It protects the leaves by preventing pests and it won’t clog the pores of your leaves. Just be sure to follow package instructions for potency and you can dilute it a little more, if your worried about your most delicate 🍃 leaves... thank you for watching!🥰🪴
Hello! There are several types of pests. Which pest are you asking about? Mealy bugs- white cottony looking, whereas thrips are black. Spider mites are nearly invisible but most oftentimes leave webbing in the petiole of the leaf and/or in the fenestrations …Would you like me to create a video about the most common pests on monstera? Hi Johnny! I have done that before and everything came out okay ...I have also tried sphagnum moss. Each one is good, but I have the most success in water or sphag ... soil works for me too....I did many propagations that way. I have so many now that I’m running out of room 😂 . Thanks for watching!

My monstera deliciosa plant has New leaves growing out but they are browning at the tips before they even unfurling... Help? I watered it once since I got it about three weeks ago it's in a 10 inch pot
Hello! It sounds like an over watering or an underwatering situation. If it were me, I would propagate it. I would also repot it with new soil. And, I would recommend a water meter as well. Be sure you have it in enough sunlight--these plants are notorious for browning at the tips when they aren't getting enough light.

Hi! Do not cut them....the plants needs them for all kinds of reasons! bury them in the soil if you don't like the looks of them. They are really helpful to have when you are propagating! Thanks again for watching!

Hi! No you don’t need to wash off neem oil after use! It protects the leaves by preventing pests and it won’t clog the pores of your leaves. Just be sure to follow package instructions for potency and you can dilute it a little more, if your worried about your most delicate 🍃 leaves... thank you for watching!🥰🪴

Hello! There are several types of pests. Which pest are you asking about? Mealy bugs- white cottony looking, whereas thrips are black.
