Love the new plant series. A little tip for you is to use seaweed solution as it prevents transplant shock. It’s a health tonic rather than a fertiliser and works by strengthening cell walls of plants making them stronger to fight off pests, diseases and adverse conditions. I’ve been using it for years with great success and it can be added to your liquid fertiliser as well. Keep up the good work, I really look forward to watching your videos.
I have been following Christine for year’s.She is still very sweet and kind to her follower’s. Now that I took the jump into plants 🌱 I am rewatching all of her video’s and taking notes. I am up to 15 plants, and I just ordered 7 new plants from Steve’s Leaves and I have a baby Monstera. Once you start planting and you get the hang of it, it is hard to NOT become a plant 🪴 lover/hoarder. Thanks Christine 💜
Fabously informative. Absolutely love that u showed how it is different depending on where the strength of the cutting is. I would expect that that would be the same or similar with most propagation of leafy plants. You are my new plant "go to" channel.
I’m a couple of years late on this video, but I’m SO HAPPY I found it. I am currently 1 week into water rooting some cuttings. Now I know time wise what to expect(or at least hope for). Thanks for the soil explanation and the picture of the bag in the background, especially the worm castings(seeing the bag really helps). Thanks again and thanks for being for informative. Liked & Subcribed!
Thank you so much Christine, I really really enjoyed watching take the cuttings and put them into the soil once they had grown roots. This video is so helpful and useful information too. I have two of these plants and I’m going to try out the method you’ve shown us all. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Christine enjoying the plant therapy I been trying to buy a Monstera Adansonii here in the uk but they are not to popular, I managed to get a cutting from a big Adansonii and I have had it in water for 3 weeks but no root it looks like I cut it wrong so thanks for the UA-cam video I now know what to do to get a good cutting so going to try again x loving the channel best wishes
This is great! Bought two plants today and looking for the right Monstera. Thank you for renewing my interest and helping me remember the joy Of plants. I moved 5 years ago from Missouri to Florida so plants here are a whole new experience!!
sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any assistance you can give me
@Emanuel Muhammad i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Found your video at the perfect time. I bought a nice lush Adansonii today. I plan on propagating it to get a fuller pot. Thnx for the video and instructions!
First I want tobsay, so glad I found you. You are extremely knowledgeable and straight forward and to the point. I have a couple questions. I see that big Monstera in the background. Will your cuttings turn into that big beautiful one? Another question....I have just the stem and leaf someone gave me to propagate. No nodes. Is it possible to somehow get that to root? I have it in water, but it doesn't look like it's doing anything but dying. Hope you see this. Have a plant-tastic day. ❤️
I am loving this series, I started with propagating succulents on Maui, now doing the same here in Victoria, so knowledgeable look forward to every episode, have a great day Christine 🌺
Hi from Spain, Christine 🤗! Since I bought a Monstera adansonii a few weeks ago, this video is very useful for me, thank you! 😍I'm loving this series, I hope you'll keep sharing. It doesn't minds if weekly or monthly... Whatever you do is so cool and positive that we enjoy it so much. Take care and be happy as a plant 😘💚☀️🌵🌺.
I love to grow plants as well...have many but my favorite one is the african violet and christmas cactus....I hope all is well....your nails are looking lovely.........blessings...........MINDY
What a FANTASTIC propagation video :-D I LOVE this Monstera adansonii and its so much fun to propagate and get more plants, thanks so much for sharing Christine, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a fantastic Friday today XXXX
Hi Christine! I have been following your videos for years and really enjoy them and i am a plant newby... Is it possible to put in the description box of your next video the products you use to make your own soil for your house plants? If you could give the name brand of each one would be even better! 😊😊 I live in the UK so I need to research and try to find those products here first.Thank you 😊😊😊
OMGosh!!! You are so thorough!! Your plants are amazing!! 🌱🌿Love this series!! Plants are so healthy for a home....cleansing the air and super beautiful to be among!! So fresh!! Excellent therapy session....really enjoyed all the information!! 🥰🌿🌱❤✨💯🌿🌱🥰❤💯☮
Watch her video prior to this one. She shows you exactly what to use when making up the proper soil mixture. It varies though somewhat depending on the plant. 🦋🌿🌱🦋
My monetera got developed root's within a day because I placed it in kitchen where it gets good light guys if you want your monstera to develop root faster then place them in kitchen
Is there a particular season you should propagate monstera adonsonii? Currently my monstera has grown much bigger than I first got it but I have a feeling I have to stake it to encourage it to grown upwards instead but I was also considering to propagate to make it more fuller.
I am propagating a monstera Adansonii, it’s been over two weeks and they have no roots…. I cut between the node and they are sitting in water (I’ve done water changes). I’m not sure what I did wrong
Its so funny when i lived on Maui and you were still Pink So Foxy I saw you and the hubs at Costco in Kahului in the food vourt in line. I took a picture of you guys i was so excited 🤣🤣 my kids were like go say hi mom and i was like no i dont want to be a creeper. Then i saw you guys again at the Sat swap meet. Now I live in Tucson too. Crazy! My parents moved here too from Cali. Maybe one day if i see you again ill say hello and chat.
i got a young monatera from my friend, and three of the leaves are turned yellow, the soil is damp but not over watered nor under watered. i don’t want the whole plant to die, what can you suggest?? (i don’t think there’s root rot as well)
New subscriber here, so I apologize if this has already been answered. Can you share your recipe for the potting soil you use for this video. My Adansonii is in desperate need of a haircut and I want to save the cuttings to plant and give as gifts.
If it's fungus gnats, there are a few options; watering less and allowing the top of the soil to dry out more between waterings, yellow sticky traps for the adult flyers, some people have success with mosquito bits, hydrogen peroxide watering/soak to kill larvae in the soil... Or if it's a bad infestation using systemic granules will wipe them out.
4 mins ago! 1st comment! 😹😹😁 I LOVE your videos! ♥️♥️You definitely are convincing me to get a plant but I’m hesitant because I don’t want to kill it! 😩
Thank you so much Jean! Don't worry, we all lose plants occasionally even the best plant growers and nurseries. If you see a plant you love, go for it! Since each plant is unique and has its own care requirements, the secret to growing healthy plants is in getting to know your plants "personality" (its likes, dislikes and care preferences). ❤️
I have a Monstera Adansonii that I've had for a couple months. It's in about an 8 in pot. It's putting out a lot of leaves, but it's not trying to vine or climb. It's all around shape reminds me of a peace lilly, but it's definitely a Monstera. Is this normal? How can I encourage it to vine and climb?
It sounds like it's a younger juvenile plant, which is totally normal. Eventually it will start climbing, they can change a lot during a single growing season, it's amazing, hang in there with it. 💖🌿
I share a variety of interests and hobbies on this channel but yes I've just started a new plant series, called Plant Therapy Thursday. Healthy recipes are in the Healing Through Foods series and playlist. If you'd like update videos on that, I'd be happy to share more.

Your plant videos are always full of vital and interesting information yet so easy to follow and understand. 🌱
You are the first person that said to sterilize your pruning shears. I've never heard this before, but it makes sense. Thank you!
Thanks Kim! 🌿
Really? I hear it all the time.
I’m a couple of years late on this video, but I’m SO HAPPY I found it. I am currently 1 week into water rooting some cuttings. Now I know time wise what to expect(or at least hope for). So they need leaves to propagate?
Thank you so much Christine, I really really enjoyed watching take the cuttings and put them into the soil once they had grown roots. This video is so helpful and useful information too. Many plants can live for years in the water....which gives another ascetic look💚🌱💙

I’ve just taken a cutting for water! Excited to see the growth!
Thanks so much for helping me with my Adansonii that didn't look well. I'll check in two weeks and see if mine is okay too.
I'm really liking the plant therapy series. Thanks, Christine.
So glad you’re doing this series🙌🌻 Thank you!
Thank you so much Jelizabeth! ❤️

Found your video at the perfect time. I bought a nice lush Adansonii today. I plan on propagating it to get a fuller pot. Thnx for the video and instructions!
Very clear and concise. Really appreciate this video. Thank you!
Great video ! You provide really good info for people just starting to propagate. Thank you 😀
So informative! Will surely follow your advice on how to propagate. Thank you Christine!

Hey Nadja! Thank you, that's awesome, I hope you're doing well in Victoria. I'll have more succulent videos coming soon.
Christine Kobzeff 😊
Thank you. Your explanation is so clear how to properly cut the plants ...

Thanks Mindy! Christmas cactus are beautiful!
Very helpful thank you!! 🪴🙌💚 after watching this I propagated my adonsonii! 💚
I'm going to go buy this plant!!

This was reassuring! I received 2 leaf cuttings. One has a lovely long root, the other has a green nubbin...I'll continue to watch it like a hawk :D
Ok but this home decor is something else ❤
Please do a video on pilea plants. Repotting, propagating, etc.
What a FANTASTIC propagation video :-D I LOVE this Monstera adansonii and its so much fun to propagate and get more plants, thanks so much for sharing Christine, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a fantastic Friday today XXXX

It's called anal.
Now I have an urge to repot my plants :D
I’m currently waiting on a Monsterra vine that I ordered from Etsy! If you sell your cuttings pls let us know!
Love your plants
Would you be able to share your mixture of planting soil for indoor plants?
Watch her video prior to this one. She shows you exactly what to use when making up the proper soil mixture. It varies though somewhat depending on the plant. 🦋🌿🌱🦋
The stem where I cut, in the water it's beginning to turn soft like mushy
Hi! Love your video. I just wanna ask if you can keep your Monstera plants just in water and not pot them?
This is amazing. Really nice and helpful.
I have propagated pothos in water, it gets good roots, but it never grows in soil. Just dies 😭
Good timing I've just started First time yesterday
Perfect! 🌿🌱
Where did you get your white pot from ?
My monetera got developed root's within a day because I placed it in kitchen where it gets good light guys if you want your monstera to develop root faster then place them in kitchen
I like to see the seat or pondo
Is there a particular season you should propagate monstera adonsonii? Currently my monstera has grown much bigger than I first got it but I have a feeling I have to stake it to encourage it to grown upwards instead but I was also considering to propagate to make it more fuller.
What happens to the node on the mother plant? Does it grow back?
Christine, you’re plants are stunning 🌿🌱
Stunning plants! 👍🏼💕🌿
You make it look so easy.
Where did you get that big bag of soil at !!
Great tips/techniques all the way thru! Thank you! 💚🌿
I am propagating a monstera Adansonii, it’s been over two weeks and they have no roots…. I cut between the node and they are sitting in water (I’ve done water changes). I’m not sure what I did wrong
Can you tell me exactly what kind of soil you used and what else was mixed in, thanks😅
Always so informative. 😊😊😊
Great info on the nodes! Thanks!

Hum..I feel therapified already!
Did you cover the new little leaves?
Where are you? - was waiting for Thursday. 😊
New subscriber here, so I apologize if this has already been answered. Can you share your recipe for the potting soil you use for this video. My Adansonii is in desperate need of a haircut and I want to save the cuttings to plant and give as gifts.
The Swiss cheese plant grows like crazy!!! My scindapsus doesn't propagate well...🤷♀️🤷♀️ Indonesia knwhat I'm doing wrong....
Have you used any product to get the roots? Or just water? Thx
I'm really enjoying these video's 🙂 🌱
I wish you would link the plants you have. We don’t have greenhouses near us
What type of water do you use?
I have alot of the white hairy roots left over and I don't want to get rid of it
in. water propagation is. it. true not to. change the water until. roots comes out?
Does the motherplant grow further from where u cut her?
your home is wonderful
YOUR VOICE IS SO CAALMING AND RELAXING TO MY EARS .I ALMSOT FALL SOTHING SLEEP WHEN I HEAR YOU ...
This is awesome! THANK YOU
You should NEVER cut flat, as that increases the chance of infection. Always cut at an angle.
Great video! 🌱 very informative 🍃💗
Very consice video.
Thank you
How do you prevent tiny flying bugs that come out of soil???
If it's fungus gnats, there are a few options; watering less and allowing the top of the soil to dry out more between waterings, yellow sticky traps for the adult flyers, some people have success with mosquito bits, hydrogen peroxide watering/soak to kill larvae in the soil... Or if it's a bad infestation using systemic granules will wipe them out.
@@christinekobzeff Thank you.
I use "propagating sand" as a layer on top of the soil to stop fungus gnats.
This is awesome , I just bought a house and I want to start growing more plants 😀
I love a baby leaves 💚🌱💚🌱💚 Adansonii
Does it continue to grow in water?
Thank you 😊
What is the hand sprayer you are using?
Thanks Romy, it's the Delta 48oz plant care pressure sprayer.

Helloo i m newbie here...i look ur videos..
I want propagate my adansonii too
Christine! Do you still have your elephant vine plant?
If you do, I would love to see how it looks now!
I’m horrible with this plant , leaves keep turning yellow and dying
Why do monstera leaves droop??
Interesting you open up with tropical bird sounds, but you're in the desert. Different, nice.
I change the intro depending on the type of plants we're working with in the video. 👌
I just snap then is that ok too 😞
Great video!! :)
Nice video...

No, I wish though! The intro is recordings of nature sounds.
LOL i'm the opposite, i need to stop making so many plants
Same
Haha I guess most of us should. 😆
So beautiful lovengnit xoxoxo
I never propagate it even for 5 years🤣🤣🤣
This has turned into a plant and cacti channel. Whatever happened to healthy recipes and wellness videos?
So funny, I didn’t know she did recipes, I come for the plant stuff!
I share a variety of interests and hobbies on this channel but yes I've just started a new plant series, called Plant Therapy Thursday. Healthy recipes are in the Healing Through Foods series and playlist. If you'd like update videos on that, I'd be happy to share more.
