Another good one. Thanks, brother. Still doing the calf project, right? Today's the 1st day I've taken off from hitting mine.
can you make separate video about upper middle back since it is so over looked area?
If u have a single pulley lat pulldown , sit on one side of the bench
we miss you brother
I checked them out later buddy
My workout will be dedicated to you today, thank you for everything. RIP
RIP? No!!
Fr?
@@thanosk2067 Look it up, he's fucking dead dude. Someone uploads videos on his channel for him.
@@thanosk2067 Alright then.
@@reddragon4482 lol
Came for the Yoyo, ended up getting a great back pump.
Same
That kid is a beast at it and the Rubik’s cube
Yeah buddy hes tough on the yo yos...Great job!
Poor kid RIP John Meadows , I’m gonna start your gamma bomb program and dedicate my workouts for you thank you
Them yoyo skills tho damnn
What's his Instagram?
@@elcambio96 no idea mate go on john's insta maybe you would find it their
meadowsgang48 or 42 i think
He makes me at 29 want to try things I never even attempted when I was younger with a yoyo😂
@@mountaindog1 oh hey John
I think its ADORABLE how you plugged your son with the random yoyo clip. What a loving father. Made my heart melt.
Been binge watching Meadows training videos the past few weeks while getting ready for a prep and just got the news of his passing this morning. I didn’t know Jon, but he seemed like one of the good guys… RIP Jon
I came here for a good back workout, and was thoroughly impressed by Alexander's tricks. He's an absolute beast with that yo-yo! Awesome work, Alexander, and thank you, John!!
That yoyo trick was fire! Had to find a place to comment lol!
Same!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So is jeff cavalier
Yoyo man, jr. That trick was like 12 tricks in 1
The biggest thing I’ve learned from watching your back videos is to let my elbows guide me it’s helped me feel the muscles in my back so much more in damn near every lift
FACTS!!! Helped me so much.
Same, once I learned this my back exploded in size!
“My back is way behind the rest of my body... “ Made me laugh :)
👍
All of your advice is working great for me, and I'm 57 years old and a fan from the UK 🇬🇧 ... Thank you so much, John... Rest in peace. God bless you
How does it feel having invented an exercise and it getting popular and named after you
Dream Goal
Speaking from experience it's pretty awesome, not trying to brag but the bench dip is actually named after me.
@@fattdamon1980 your name is bench dip?
Ask Eric Bugenhagen and knock out some Upright Hagens
What or where is that exercise?
John, you’re Everyone’s bodybuilding dad. Teaching us what you have had to learn the hard way, so we don’t waste our time. So much wisdom, and class.
John, you’re a legend. I appreciate the knowledge you share. This is the best channel for lifters in my opinion. Thank you for everything!
Exactly
Rip brother, Australian here and doing my sets tonight in honour of you, you have helped me even though you never knew me! My thoughts and love go to your family.
Gonna hit these back exercises today and get some massive growth. Thank you for everything John. RIP.
I've always loved how these specific exercises aren't the norm and some are easier to do than what people claim. Thank you John for always trying new things and gracing us with your knowledge and wisdom gleaned over many years. What you've shared is still greatly appreciated.
I recently started following John Meadows, and I love the calmness of this gentleman. He is smart, and so informative. We lost a great man. RIP John, and thank you for giving us some gems in the fitness industry.
It took me a couple of months to “find” my back when I first started lifting...learning to focus on the elbow was the game changer. Thanks for the video sir
That YoYo trick was insane 🔥
Thank you for everything!!! RIP. You always reminded me of those super jacked fit older dudes at the gym that have been working out for 30 years and still look better than everyone else.
John gives great advice. I've been using his exercises to build my own three day routines. Since I only do 3 days push legs pull, I need each day to be lengthy and very hard. I do one of John's full chest routines and love it. It's brutal, I'm sore for three days after.
Rest in peace, John. You were such an inspiration and so generous in giving away all that information for free.
Dude idk which one is cooler, the yoyo tricks or how supportive a father you are
Forever giving us quality information for free. Thanks as always John!
I love watching these videos. It always feels as if you are still here and advising in the gym. I always learned a lot from the seasoned guys in the gym.
Especially when you find the one's that could explain why they did it, what doesn't work because of experience ,trial and error, and him being a dedicated family man.
I share these with mymkids, my daughters boyfriend.
This man even after his death inspires me. Having such a humble and positive person in the fitness industry is rare and we will never see another man such as john meadows again. Rest in peace sir, I will always wish that I could’ve met you in person. Thank you
Mr. Meadows your kid is so talented that in a few years people will come to this channel to just see the kid and not you. Love the content as ususal. Meadows row is the king of rows and the activation it gives me everytime is amazing
Extraordinary video as always, thank you! Just tried all 7 as a single back workout as described and it really hit me hard (in the best possible way).
Thanks for everything you did John! I watched this about 2 weeks before I heard you passed. RIP 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Man, are you ever missed. I never met you, but feel like your family from watching all your videos, and being inspired. You can see from watching these vids, that you are a good man. Big love wherever you are. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge. .
Thanks John. Really appreciate everything you’re sharing.
Love these videos, as always, John! But your son is starting to steal the show with those yo-yo tricks! Both of you keep up the good work!
John thanks so much. I am working over in Warsaw Poland at an International School. We have a small but good gym. I appreciate all the tips and exercises. Still trying to go hard at 50! Thanks for all that you do!
Thank you John! I just finished a back workout with your exercises included. I felt a difference between my normal back workout without those exercises.
Fantastic!
Fantastic get down! Plus the yo-yo tricks were killer. Looks like the whole family has a great amount of talent.
Great video, John. Thanks for sharing your workout experiences, and great tips, too!
My pleasure!
8:19 best back workout tip
I always learn something new in your videos, even after seeing them a few times. I loves this series, I will add a pull up movement and a single arm row to my training.
Nice! I love the meadows row. My favorite back exercise by far. It blows up my rear delts. I feel like it was the missing link in my back workout.
I love those single arm pull downs. I gotta do them on the floor at my gym to make it work, pulley and angle wise. But these have been a game changer for me!! Thank you
Great show John and the banded pull ups are now on my routine...great back workout and I’m 62 and from Australia...still training hard lol
Sad to see you go big John. Thanks for all the wonderful advice that helped me in my workout life. My condolences to the family.
so thankful for all these videos.
Happy his stuff still gets recommended. Just the sweetest dude.
I’m always so happy when I see you post exercises I can try when it’s actually back day😂
Amazing video John!! Always giving out free content!’ Apreciate it a lot!!
My pleasure!
Your son is going to be just as dedicated to whatever he does as you are. I see his passion. That's a word for him and over his life. God Bless.
Hi John,
Awesome video! So glad you made this video as I'm about to change my exercises for back and needed some ideas.
Big thank you for making the video.
Cheers,
Billy
Happy to help!
hope to see a posing routine guide soon! Love the content!
My back has been growing from this! Thanks so much. That Meadows Row wow, great one. Not bad when one can grow at 58!
Anytime I need to work on bettering my form or add something to my routines, this man is always the first option I choose.
Miss you sir
Great list! Thanks John 💪🏻👍🏻
First vid I'm watching since he's gone. Not afraid to admit, tears came when I saw him at the start of the vid. Composed myself and gave it my all with these exercises.
RIP MOUNTAINDOG☝😪
The one arm barbell row is a new staple for me so much better than with a dumbbell, especially at home since I don't have tons of weight to play with. Can't wait to try the meadows row once I get an olympic bar again!
Lookin' good, John!
John it’s been a long time since my lats actually hurt the day after but I did this along with your trap workout and my god I’m one sore dude today!
That yoyo trick was never-ending! My favorite so far.
Man, seeing his son kinda crushed me. I hope he knows how many people loved his father, and just how many people John influenced.
I currently do four sets of barbell rows, three sets of pullups and finish with three sets of Meadow’s rows. I strech my lats in-between each set. Really good feeling in the lats! I do Romanian deadlifts on leg day.
I seen other people put up videos on this.
Skipped them and went straight to you 💪💪🔥🔥
I KNEW it would be BEAST
Thank you for posting these!
Much love & respect! RIP brotha
The more I re-watch these the more I miss John and realise just how knowledgeable he was. Even many science based folk understand that John was special and so much of what he said works regardless of what “studies show” etc. So great we have so many of these to watch again now.
greeting out of the next shutdown from germany due to limited equipment at home i tried your meadows row ...i'm so so thankful to you :)
Always great video
Great video man, very helpful. I was looking for a film like this
Always had the best advice. 👌
Love your T-shirts, thanks for the vid full of good information :)
Late seeing this one John but great vid as always.
John, I just included Meadows Rows in a session today for the first time. Wow! That is a great exercise! Thanks for the advice/tips on it.
Rock on!
Thank you for what might possibly be the most informative yet joyful channels on fitness, John. And that goes for your yo-yo wizard too! ✊😃
I appreciate that!
Dude. Alex’s skills are second to none. Incredible
Definitely gonna have to check out that vaso blast. I work out in the evening and have stopped taking pre 'cause it keeps me up super late.
Thank you for all the great knowledge you have shared.
Ur videos and advices live on forever John
Missing you LEGEND!!!! You are still present helping us grow!
Back tonight..Thanks brother!
Came for the workout, stayed for the yoyo skills everyone’s talking about. Kids got talent!
The rack pull, when John says pull the elbows back, that made all the difference. I tried this and kept my elbows slightly bent, my lats were activated through almost the whole range of motion. I even felt my traps activate more.
His little tips are so effective yet simple
Thanks john.i like the rackpulls with a band attached to the front, so i am forced to hold the bar close and have more lat activation.
I was just thinking about the tendinitis issue with chip up / pull ups. I’m gonna try the assisted ones tomorrow. Thanks for the tip
Loved this video definitely making this my back workout. I listened to your tips on the calve raises My calves were so sore I couldn’t walk properly but loved it thoroughly the pump my calves got was amazing never ever had a pump like that in my calves before. Will definitely be trying this back workout. Thanks a bunch
niceee! Can't wait for the leg video
Haaaaa your kid is an absolute beast with that yo-yo! Another great video 👍🏽
Good. I really enjoyed that one John
So glad I checked subs today before back workout. Thanks John!
Glad you like them!
Thanks John, great new back workout ...6 of these I've never seen before.....so bigger repitore for me.......and your boy is a wizz...good on you for letting your son in.
Love this, going to incorporate them in my back workout routine today
Awesome! Gonna hit back at 5AM and vote at 7AM! Going to look swole for the voting booth 😁. Thanks John awesome content! 🇺🇸💪👊
Thanks man ❤❤❤
Appreciate it Brother
Hey John! Love doing the "basement" version of the supine pulldowns: put two bands on each side of a home pull-up bar in the doorway, then walk back, bend over to app. 30 degrees then pull away...great lat pump at home : )
Pull up tendonitis was a huge pain this year for me. Took months to relieve the pain/heal. Gotta try these banded Pull ups.
Meadows rows have become a regular part of back training. Love em!!
Great content as always! BTW Bought your gamma bomb-program a while ago and started it today with the first back workout! :)
Awesome! Thank you!
That yo-yo move was amazing.
Rest in peace, John. Still using your advice, by far my favorite bodybuilder to seek exercise inspiration and advice
Thank you Mr. Meadows!
Love the first 2; been seeing amazing results with them
Great as ever 💪
