Thank you for sharing about this! Last year I came across carnivore and thought it seemed crazy but I gave it a try for a month cause I was still so up and down with my moods, low energy, struggling to lose weight and dealing with inflammation even while doing the keto diet. After 3 days I told my husband people are gonna think I'm crazy if I continue eating like this but I felt so good that I continued for 2 months (also losing 15lbs without exercise). I stopped cause I thought it might be like a detox and I could start eating other whole foods again but I wish I would not have cause many of the issues I was having came back. I started doing carnivore again last week and I'm already seeing vast improvements with mood, energy and inflammation yet again. This time I plan to stick with it regardless of how crazy people think I am! I seriously believe food should be our fuel and medicine first and foremost (although I definitely enjoy steak 😋). Adam and Eve ate plants in Eden but everything was perfect then. If God convicts my heart to change my diet I will obey, but I am much more convicted about being a better steward of the body and life he's given me. I'm so thankful for this.
I absolutely love that you do this way of eating. I just found your channel for following the Lord, homemaking and whatnot and this is a massive bonus for me that you do!
Carnivore is healing 60 years of disordered eating for me. For my son (29) his anxiety and depression are in check without medication now. Praise the Lord for his leadings in this way of eating for my family. Hubby is able to sleep without c-pap and no snoring now. 🎉❤😂 Thanks for speaking in this and presenting your simple approach. It’s refreshing!
Please remember to post Saturday morning Q&As publicly. I look forward to them. Thank you kindly, Heidi, Brandon, and Sabrina. This Channel is a blessing to us all.
Just found your channel! We have been carnivore for eight and a half months. We are also Christian. Have been looking for CC channel. We love carnivore. I was diagnosed with ME. I struggled for 6 years. I am now about 80% better...thank God❤ Your way of eating is pretty much us. I eat mustards now(sugar free) New subscriber here! Love your carny testimonial!! 😀❤🇨🇦
Carnivore has helped me with my binge eating and constant obsession with food. Not to mention having pcos and constant problems with weight. I’m doing so much better. Praise God!
Yes! Never going back to a “normal” way of eating. We eat whatever is offered when we go to a friend’s house and generally we have no issues. We use saucers to eat so it seems like a full plate. 😂
So glad I found you. Have been carnivore for 2 weeks now and I have so much energy I hardly know what to do with it. 😂 I’m also sleeping better and boy do I love the meat. Just not the mess in the kitchen. LOL. I’m excited to see how this way of eating will continue to help me as I stick to it.
I started watering down juices when my oldest was two and now I cannot drink full strength juice. So glad it has helped me. I have tried hard to cut back on sugars.
Thank you for sharing! Meat, berries, and herbs does make a lot of sense. I kept think “all they eat is meat?” At the end made more sense. You should put together a digital recipe book. I’d buy it 😊
Raw Nigerian Dwarf goat milk was a huge life changing thing for us. Grocery store dairy products are really tough on my system. It's A2 protein; it's got a high fat content, and it's got all the good probiotics. Fresh milk does not taste weird at all. I think everyone ought to have a couple little dairy goats. You don't need tons of space and they are pretty low maintenance.
Fellow carnivore here!! My life has changed in many ways. I'm so thankful to the Lord for leading me to a way of eating that is sustainable and keeps me out of my addiction to carbs and sugar. I'm a whole new person, inside and out!!
@addiecoelman1996 you could not be more wrong. God 100% led me to a carnivore way of eating. You know nothing about my life or circumstances to make such a ludicrous statement. My Heavenly Father, in His great love for me, certainly did!!
I’ve heard of people that buy a whole cow and have the liver ground into the ground beef. My friend says she does not taste it. Haven’t tried it myself, yet.
That’s awesome, I wonder if there are just some people with a natural aversion to liver. I tried to grind liver into my ground beef using the smallest but still nutritious amount and made a meatloaf, but I could still smell and taste it. It was very difficult to get through for me, though the rest of the family enjoyed it. 😩
We had a friend who did some research and found it to be harder on your liver than HF corn syrup. I know we can’t all be perfect (I’m certainly not!) but that was one of the things we did remove after researching it. We decided to have things that we could personally make ourselves - if we could grow a maple tree in Texas we could tap it and boil down syrup- we have bees so we do have honey. You cannot make agave syrup from an agave plant the way it is sold in stores without special equipment 😢
What are your thoughts on the Bible saying God gave us the fruit and all the green plants? I know veggies aren’t the “same” as they once were but really nothing is. The animals are eating the greens/plants.
Sure- and then post flood He gave meat. Seed bearing plants can be consumed-- sure! But is that the best thing especially thousands of years later in this sin stained earth with all the junk we've destroyed? 🤷🏻♀️ The results seem to speak for themselves- it honestly just stuns me. :)
☕️Thanks, Haidi for your dedication and christian womanhood knowledge sharing! I have a question wrt christian fasting. I know there are traditions, so wanted to know do you fast during Great Lent?
I am curious what your thoughts about it relating to the biblical diet God first gave man to eat, but more specifically the unclean foods he told us not to eat specifically Pig, bacon?
That was changed in the NT when God said Nothing was unclean. Adam and Eve were vegans. Then they weren't. The aroma of meat was pleasing to God. So....didn't God change what we could eat? Yes. But, we should eat what He created. Many things have been changed by man with all the chemicals they spray on everything and GMO products. Right now, they are talking about factory made meat and adding MRNA to our beef. And lets face it. America is obese and the most unhealthy country because of man's food. You can eat veggies, but they do have glysophates that can really make some people ill.
She mentioned it in the first bit of the video. Unclean animals were a restriction under the old law, the old law was fulfilled through Jesus in the new law (new testament) so we are no longer under the law. We are now free to live without following the old law. We are no longer restricted in our diet.
My husband and I started a 90 day carnivore experiment and we’re almost a month in. So far it’s been great! Talk about easy menu planning and meal clean up! I’ve been wanting to start us on a liver supplement but they’re all so expensive! I appreciate your recommendation and just ordered some! Any thoughts on what to do when you reach maintenance? I’m about 6lbs from goal. How can I stop losing once I get there? I already eat to full at each meal so I suppose I could add a snack into my day…
That's amazing! SO glad you guys are seeing the results too! I've seen most people say they just keep going until the feel comfortable and then their bodies just balance out naturally when they reach where their body needs to be.
Married to a NC mountain man... livermush 🤮. He loves this so called "food." Yuck yuck! His parents bring him some every time they come to visit. Then I have to deal with the smell for a week as he pigs out on it. Ugh!!

Keto and carnivores tend to have great cholesterol levels. Just make sure bloodwork for cholesterol levels is broken down by LDL, HDL, and triglycerides. You will find HDL (the good cholesterol) to be up in keto/carnivores, and LDL and triglycerides (both very bad) to be significantly lower than the HDL when they share their bloodwork. It was exactly that way for me as well when I last had my blood panels done.
