Here's a tip I absolutely love: if you have mentioned it on one of your videos, I apologize( I just saw your videos for the first time today lol). I take the command strips and cut different sizes off of them to stick various items to the wall. I was forever losing the remotes for the blu ray player so I cut a piece off and stuck it to the wall. Just various items you can use them for. By cutting pieces off it has saved us a lot of money.
@@jacquelinepack9650 ...To add to your idea, I used to have a standing fan that had a remote control, and it came with a velcro piece on the back of the fan and the remote, so it could be stuck to the fan to prevent it from getting lost. I've also seen online, people using that same concept for various other items, to keep them from getting lost, sliding around, to keep them with the items they go with, or what have you. So many possibilities, with both the velcro and the command strip ideas. 😊
if you sew a little loop (fabric, string, covered ponytail elastic, etc.) on the corner of your microfiber towel, you can hang it from that and it won't fall off the hook even when your traveling. Just an idea.
I love these ideas. I learned the soft sided bins last year from Catherine on do it on a dime. I added a cardboard bottom just to stabilize it little bit.
Tip for using zip ties: the spot where you cut can be extremely sharp and I've cut myself deep on a raw one before. 2 options: 1 use a hot piece of metal, a small flame or heat gun to soften the plastic and shape it (dangerous) or 2 use a file to sand it down (labor intensive) I know it seems like a waste of time, but all you'd need is once to accidentally slice your hand or arm open and spend a few hours in the ER or worse.
I use jeans my boys have grown out of, or have been "cut off" to make shorts, as the material for cloth bags. Where on the leg you cut them out determines the size of the bags and a bonus is the side seams are already sewn 😊! Love your videos and your family!
I put always put the towels in so that what's grabbable is the "single" folded piece of towel facing out, not the "ends". That way when you go to grab a towel quickly without thinking, you are not grabbing at more than one towel (especially if they are all the same colour) - just an observation to aide with the brilliant idea :-)
💜Hi. Nice video, thank you! I want you to know that the DOLLAR TREE carries silicone finger tip covers, found in the craft corner. They can be used to press down crafts when hot glue is involved. That's what I use them for. I think they sell 3 in a pack and they are usually neon colors, such as hot pink. Maybe you can find them. Also, whenever I use hot glue, I fill a bowl with cold water and two ice cubes and place it on my work surface. If I burn myself, I can quickly dip my hand in the bowl and cool down my skin- stopping the high temp glue from burning the next layer of skin. Plus the glue hardens up right away. You can keep the bowl stored with your glue gun to remind you to fill it with water and ice cubes next time. I hope my ideas help you and your subscribers. Stay safe and healthy. God bless you! Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
I used to have a side job organizing, like back in the mid 90s. The first time I did anything for my mom was her fifth wheel. It is especially important in small spaces. By the way the DT clear bins fit under the cupboard racks, work well for spices, drink mixes. Great ideas, thanks for sharing.
I love those soft bins !!! I also have some really cute pillow shams that I don't use but didn't want to get rid of. I'm going to make bins from them !!
The reusable paper/cloth grocery bags are good for organizing clothing or stuff in flexible storage to fill cabinets. No glue burns. Different colors for categories of clothes so you don't have to pull each down looking for something.

I do sew. I will be making the soft bins! Our truck camper needs some love regarding storage solutions. Going out for short trips means completely removing food items between trips, as well as storing linens for bed bath kitchen. Those containers will be a big help in our small cabinets. You have encouraged me to be more creative with command hooks for produce and bed area organization. I just subscribed, too. I’ve watched many of your videos the past few months.
I am so excited. I started making my soft side baskets today from the rugs at the dollar tree. I had to buy a whole case so I have 30 rugs. Maybe I can give some away when I get them made. I wanted to thank you so much for this hack. I can’t wait I’m going to use them for everything in the camper I think. I was going to send you a picture but I don’t know how. So anyway thank you again keep giving us great information. We’re planning a trip for this winter so I got to get the camper ready for One month on the road.😊 Maybe we’ll get to meet up sometime
Great hack and thanks for sharing! I've made baskets of various shapes and sizes that didn't cost anything by crocheting plastic shopping bags into baskets. So easy and fun!
I’ve crocheted with plastic shopping bags, too! My cousin learned to do it when her church group made mats for refugees from/to countries I don’t remember now.
Darn I was going to ask how 🤔 then I read the rest, lol. Loving this, I went out and actually bought 3 green fringe rugs! I couldn't believe it when I was walking by. Thanks 😊
The soft bins.I saw these on DO IT ON A DIME abt 3 years ago and have been using this DIY ever since!! You explained this DIY perfectly!! Great Channel BTW.
I've found that the accessory caddies that hang from the shower head pipe work well for low profile storage in other areas as well. For instance, I have one in the kitchen area behind the faucet for holding the usual stuff used in that place. The metal ones look the best. If they don't fit in right off, it's not that difficult to modify them as needed. And then there are the pole caddies.
I just watched this video for the second time. First time when it first aired. I have made several of the rug soft sided baskets. I even put a handle on a couple and call it a bag. Thanks for the demo. Now ,in seeing it the second time, the under table storage wire basket really caught my eye. I plan on employment ing that real soon. Thanks again for your channel💖
Like your towel holder with hooks. I've found that the towels dry better if I sew a little loop on one corner of the towel to hang it up easily, and they don't fall.
I'm getting to travel for work (driving thankfully) and think the soft bins will be perfect for my bathroom stuff! It doesn't need to go in a suitcase, but I can put it in a box for travel, then just put them on the counter in thr hotel!
Love your organization!! You could put long handles (with ribbon, rope, etc) on your fabric baskets, so they can lay inside your basket when not in use, and fill with things for picnics, chips, beach trips, etc.... Just grab and go!
Amy's idea made me think of wooden spoons / spatulas that could be cut to make a wooden stick handle. The stick grip handles could be worked in as you fold over and glue the fringe ends... interesting.... I like the idea. G Ire
Place your folded towel the other way round with the rounded side out. It looks neater and it is easier to pull out. That goes for any folded linen. Always stack with fol facing out then you can see exactly how many are in the pile.
Really enjoyed your presentation. Being a prior RVer, wish I had know some of these before. However I can see using them in my house n craft room. Thank you.
I do like the towel rack idea. But those zip tie nubs in front would be knuckle chafers and towel snaggers. I bet they would hold together with just the ties in back and side. The cord basket under the table is brilliant! The soft bins are fantastic too!! I just found your site, so will look back at other videos and tips. Those towels look interesting, not bulky... will see if I can find a link for them. Thank you!!!!
My husband and I just got a fifth wheel, I'm so glad I found your channel. I first wrote a "Must Have List." All the things you recommend. I went. to Walmart and found sturdy plastic plates, bowl's,cups for 50cents each cheaper than dollar store. Love all your advice.🥰
Your tip of making baskets is awesome. We don't RV but we live in an earthquake zone. I also intend to aquire a small camper or 5th wheel for a guest room. And what happens to be really beautiful is I inherited some rugs I don't want to use for rugs BUT will upcycle those. Happy Travels
Loving your channel! Great ideas. I can't wait to make the fabric bags. Idea for you- Do the towel rack on the inside of bathroom to clear hallway and I place felt furniture discs on rack as to not scratch the door or you can glue felt on it as well. Doesn't clang either and keeps it snug. Can't wait to see more videos. I just found this as I was browsing. I like your bloopers at the end too. I ordered the fabric glue on Amazon as well. Thanks!
I think she put it facing the outside hallway because of the drying time taking longer in an RV and A/C & heating vents are more airflow/more plentiful in the hallway. Just my two cents because I do that too in my RV & you'd be surprised how much "wetter longer" items stay inside tiny closet RV bathroom!!!
Thanks for your informative videos. I am an "organization" kind of person myself and I love ideas like this. AndI made a note about Campgroundviews in my file about campgrounds so that the info will be available to us when we plan our tripis. All the best to your family.
I've used those small rugs as placemats for my pets and also perfect size for the pet crates I use. Will try a baske with one. On the hanging basket, perfect for remotes or cell phones at night, I have one in my bedroom next to my nightstand.
I just attached a basket to my nightstand with command hooks to put my phone and remotes so i stop dropping them on the floor and emd up having to hunt for them in the middle of the night!

Handy tip for over the door items make sure you put some felt or something on the back where they rub the door if you have real wood doors or they will leave marks. I just got a piece of felt with adhesive on it and cut to fit.
Wow, love these hacks! We bought our first camper and I bought a ton of goodies from Dollar Tree to outfit! What they didn't have, I went to Walmart and cleaned up! I could have used these soft sided bins instead of buying the ones I got from Wally World, but they keep things safe while in travel. Great ideas!
I love the hacks - I will try all of them - up first will be the cord holder. I was just about to order them but now I'm going to the dollar tree - thank you - very useful.
You can use basic clothes pins to hold it firmly, while the glue cools off. It's also called "square off" the bottom of a bag. "Placemats purse" was a popular craft a few years back! Customize with cording or wide ribbon style straps. Grommets optional.
Thank you so much for all your help in organizing skills we are selling our 5 acres and our 2 story log cabin house in Alaska 🏔 we are retired from dogsledding and we are retired from working 💃🏾💃🏾😍 so we are now going to start joining you in the RV life 😁😆
Wonderful ideas! Here’s a tip for you. Be sure the folded edge if your folded towels are facing out so you only see the folded edge. That way you will only grab one towel. Not sure that will makes sense. Hopefully you get it. 😉
I just LOVE these hacks!!! I’m definitely going to try the wire basket under my desk to help manage my cords. That stuff drives me crazy!! LOL the rug baskets are AMAZING! I really like that you don’t have to do any sewing either. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the great vid .. I've been living on site, on a perfect lake, in Northern Ontario, Canada and in a beautiful 37ft w/my hubby for 22 years ( cheap living, plus I love it !! ) .. I didn't until we had a tankless hot water until installed and a cute little propane cast iron fire place but still have a great propane furnace w/floor vets all over and we also had a full steal roof built high over top, so as we can still use our roof vents .. We've put so many extras, to make a nice, no stress life here .. I'm not in the States and my trailer hasn't gone anywhere since it was a year old, 22 years ago, lol but I still enjoyed watching your vid and got some cool, great ideas from you .. Hope you had a super summer !!
Having dollar stores, Starbucks, Walmart, taco bell and McDonald's on every corner makes every place the same. Use stuff from nature to make things. Branches wrapped with twine or flexible barks, weaving bark from willow trees or other trees and plants. You can soak long pieces in water to make them flexible. Keep Australia natural before they ruin it too. Take care 🪶🤍
Oh wow! I’m in a house, but I’m going to add a fabric bin on back of my nightstand to hold surge protector and mattress pad heat control and cords out of sight to tidy up the surface .
Also, if you want to use am actual hanging three tier metal fruit rack, we slammed a flat steel rod in a corner diagonally over the kitchen table, and I was out of the way. Even so, like your hanging bag basket trick. Clever. ;)
It’s not a surprise the soft side baskets are blowing up. I’m headed for the $ tree this morning. You are brilliant and I subscribed for sure! Happy RVing!
I subbed from my phone, but cant comment , long story, you are great at explaining stuff. And those soft baskets you make are perfect. Like a duffle bag or soft sided suitcase,, more fits in even taking into consideration weight limits. We have a 17 foot 2015 keystone hideout and love it, made so many mods to it, so pimped out for boondocking. Always looking to make use of a small space. Still learning. Canadian here who misses Florida, so much. luv your channel.

They do have a loop, but they’re so large they touch the floor. Maybe I can see a loop onto the middle 🤔
I sewed my loop to the middle edge of my towels and it works well.
Great idea! Why not "double-up" & put one one each side..😉
@@GratefulGlamper That works for me. For long towels, a loop sewn on one side in the middle works.
@Grateful Glamper in the middle of a long side so it hangs shorter. Maybe an inch or two in would probably help.

I was thinking about the towels snagging on the cut end of the zip tie.
Dollar tree sells cotton twine. Just wrap around this. Will look better anyway
All you have to do is add a bit of hot glue to the sharp spot where you cut the zip tie off.
@@marciabrothers8855 maybe it's the type we tried but the glue kept coming off when we tried that 🤷🏻♀️
If you take a pair of pliers and twist the ends off they won't be sharp. I learned this hack on Reddit.

I like the idea of the rugs as baskets for my small food pantry in my house. My snacks are on top of my food pantry right now and I hate it. This is a great idea and will fit in my pantry . Thank you
The hacks for watching

Thanks for watching- we have a lot of tips, tricks and hacks
I love the fabric bins. I will try this hack but fill it with old teddy stuffing and make pillows.
Great idea
Wow, I thought I had our storage down both in our sailboat & camping. Guess not. THANK you. Great ideas.
👍🏻👍🏻
Handy tip for over the door items make sure you put some felt or something on the back where they rub the door if you have real wood doors or they will leave marks. I just got a piece of felt with adhesive on it and cut to fit.
Thanks for the tip!
I ended up just leaving the cardboard label on it that covers the back. It’s hidden in my master bathroom so I didn’t care if it had the label.
Thanks for watching- best wishes in your travels
No kidding. I spent $10 each on some canvas ones at Dollar General. Oh well, they are cute and say "Stuff" and "Things" on them.
Love these ideas. My family is getting a small cabin which we are in need of ideas this for storage.
Great ideas even for sticks and bricks-thank you!!!
Thanks for watching
O love those soft side baskets definitely gonna make some for organizing
I love the hacks - I will try all of them - up first will be the cord holder. I was just about to order them but now I'm going to the dollar tree - thank you - very useful.
Happy to help!
My fav is the rug , soft bag storage ! Absolutely adorable !
Thanks for watching
Thank you for the "T" tip. I'm 63, pretty crafty, yet never figured out how to widen the bottom of similar crafts. Thanks
Of course, thanks for watching
You can use basic clothes pins to hold it firmly, while the glue cools off. It's also called "square off" the bottom of a bag. "Placemats purse" was a popular craft a few years back! Customize with cording or wide ribbon style straps. Grommets optional.
@@cathycoryell2351 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much for all your help in organizing skills
we are selling our 5 acres and our 2 story log cabin house in Alaska 🏔
we are retired from dogsledding and we are retired from working 💃🏾💃🏾😍
so we are now going to start joining you in the RV life 😁😆
Awesome!
Love those rug/ containers. I'm going to make those. Thanks
Thanks for watching
Wonderful ideas! Here’s a tip for you. Be sure the folded edge if your folded towels are facing out so you only see the folded edge. That way you will only grab one towel. Not sure that will makes sense. Hopefully you get it. 😉
Thanks for the tip!
My ocd was thinking the same thing! Looks neater, too.
Same!
I do that as well.
I was thinking that as well or rolling them and stacking them.
I’m going to use your ideas for out boat. We are changing careers this summer. Husband is giving up truck driving to start commercial fishing.
soft sided basket with a strap = Cute purse!
I just LOVE these hacks!!! I’m definitely going to try the wire basket under my desk to help manage my cords. That stuff drives me crazy!! LOL the rug baskets are AMAZING! I really like that you don’t have to do any sewing either. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
You could get foam core and cut a piece to cover inside the bottom of your soft side bins to help them stand up better!
You are awesome & funny! I don't even have an RV but I can't wait to try that rug storage bin hack!
Thanks 😊
Fantastic ideas! I’ll be using a couple of these, for sure. You really are the Queen of RV Organization. Thank you for all the tips you continue to share.
Thanks for watching
I have not made any of these but I like your ideas. I don't have an RV but I intend to try some for my home.

Love the rug hack! Can’t wait to make some!
i remember watching these wanting to be in this life style and now we just signed on our rv !!!!
Yay! So exciting!
Thanks for sharing this comment! Best wishes and thanks for watching
Oh and btw, I liked and subscribed and looking forward to watching some of your other vids 😊✌‼
Maybe one day here in Australia we will have Dollar Tree.
You are so creative. Thank you for the bag idea. I love it
Thanks for watching!
Great hacks! The soft storage and other hacks will be great for van lifers, too!
Love these ideas!! And love the bloopers at the end!! Hahaha ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Would love to see more storage and diys please.
Thanks for sharing. I love Dollar Tree, too. Money saving and organizational ideas are always appreciated!
Thanks for watching
Also, if you want to use am actual hanging three tier metal fruit rack, we slammed a flat steel rod in a corner diagonally over the kitchen table, and I was out of the way. Even so, like your hanging bag basket trick. Clever. ;)
I love the rug and table diy
Just found your channel. Love the idea for the soft sided baskets! Great ideas, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
It’s not a surprise the soft side baskets are blowing up. I’m headed for the $ tree this morning. You are brilliant and I subscribed for sure! Happy RVing!
Thanks so much! Happy DIYing
Thank you for your time and help.
I think I’m going to try making one of the bins, but with a much wider bottom!
I like your unknown unspoken tips on the rv video!
Thank you 💙
