Them little numbers mean a lot for any engine mines the same way I just got a new cylinder and piston kit It was going to coast more for me to get mine bored out so that why I got me a new cylinder I just got done polishing my head and going to do the exhaust chamber

True, .050" on a little single cylinder is something compared to a big block. I remember getting the cylinder bored for $50, which seems to just about cover setup so it was damn cheap. I forget the cost on the piston and rings but it wasn't bad. It still runs great!

Let me get on the same page as you. You're saying that you installed new bearings and the end play is pretty much the same as the old ones right?

I have an old cart with the same engine and issue. Any chance you could tell me where to find a manual and rebuild kit please.

Look up the engine and model number of your cart. Ask around on Buggiesgonewild.com and they can help as well.

I have the same issue. Did rebuilding the top half help with it being a dog?

Absolutely. This engine was extremely worn out though. I had the jug bored and got an oversized piston.

I can't really tell you for sure but I doubt it would be more than ten thousandths of an inch.
