I've been kicking around this idea for about a month now I looked into driving my own well to a gutter collection type system. After watching the video, I ordered what I needed to copy your idea. Thanks for the great video and helping me decide.

I was watching your video and saying the whole time, "oh no! she's using the Bulkhead fitting wrong!!" lol I'm so glad you got it figured out. It looks much better! I'll be making my rain barrel next weekend! 😊
How is your rain barrel working out? Do you get enough pressure to use the garden hose and sprayer or are you having to fill up a watering can? I’m getting ready to do a similar water barrel for a garden bed that is too far from our water supply so it’s interesting to see how others have done this.😊
It’s working out well for filling my watering can; although not as fast as I was hoping. We haven’t had much rain here past month or so, so it’s only like 1/4 full and the hose isn’t working as of yet. I’m happy to have it in such a convenient spot! Might fill it up with more water at some point.

One thing I need to do with mine, once the water drains is to raise it up higher. That way, hopefully gravity will help. Good luck!!!
