Utterly beautiful. No video has done such an amazing job at encapsulating the female human experience. Enthralling, stunningly shot and v thought provoking. Thank you for your art!
This is amazing, beautiful and so very captivating. What a nicely sung folk like song and how amazingly it has been shot. I have become instant fan of yours Neringa Rekasiute. Many Regards from India.
THIS is so beautiful. I cannot believe it came onto my screen, JUST as I was answering a choir director in France and England ~ as I embark on a video of my solo voice (non-professional!) to send to them as they collaborate one hundred voices from different countries, to form a choral work Cantique, by Gabriel Faure. Called Musique Sans Frontieres this is their 2nd project, bringing together many voices (incl.Australia, me and some of my fellow community choir members). Thank you for this beautiful and meaningful production. It has made me smile at the benefits it gives for all, to simply sing together. Blessings! Jen.

It's called "Devynios liepos"
@TheTwins90 folk songs are usually known by their first lines, this one is known as "Turėja liepa". The lyrics:
Turėja liepa, lioj taduvėla,
Devynias šakas, lylia ratulėli.
Taduvo, taduvo, taduvėla taduvo,
Ratulo ratulo, ratulėli ratulo.
Visas devynias, lioj taduvėla,
Vėtrėla palaužė, lylia ratulėli.
Palik naž vienų, lioj taduvėla,
Gegiulai inskristi lylia ratulėli.
Gegiulai inskristi, lioj taduvėla,
Gražiai pakukuoti, lylia ratulėli.
Turėja motka, lioj taduvėla,
Devynias dukras, lylia ratulėli.
Visas devynias, lioj taduvėla,
Piršlaliai išpiršo, lylia ratulėli.
Palik naž vienų, lioj taduvėla,
Aslalai pašluoti, lylia ratulėli.
It’s called “ Nine Lindens” in English.

Lithuania has pagan roots
