What really saddens me is that us descendants of Europeans have seem to forgotten our European roots. By the time of the Viking Era they had already become the last Europeans to really maintain it's European cilture. We are seemingly the only ones to have not maintained the ways of our ancestry and became just a bland, spiritualess and unextraordinary people.

Since I was a child I wanted to be a warrior of some kind. Military, cage fighter(pursued) shaman, knight, VIKING. Unaware until recently that warrior is in my DNA.

Beautifully said. As an American but of Irish and Danish origin it feels like us descendants of Europeans have forgotten and abandoned our heritage and the ways of our ancestors. We have become spiritually empty and become orphans. As a massive fan of history and the culture of all different people around the world I've admired the beauty of theirs such as Native American, African, Middle Eastern, Asian etc. and it saddens me that we've abandoned and forgotten our own. The fact that there is a reemergence of European culture like all the new shows, movies, games and even music about Vikings, the large festivals in England at Stonehenge every year and even the rise of Paganism throughout Europe all give me hope.
