You're actually the coolest drummer out there, because yeah, there are these guys that play more big flashy fills but it's so much more stiff and robotic, they don't have the groove or the soul in them at all, but you have such an intrinsic vibe in what you play. Just like them what youplay is technically accurate, yes it's complex rhythmically, but it's got so much goddamn feeling in it man, you clearly feel the track out and play what needs to be played, all whilst showing off but in the classiest way dude. I'm not too advanced with audio mixing, but curious what was used to get that crunchy sound with the drums? I'm thinking maybe some compression with the gain pumped up? Sounds cool though
