I would just enjoy the Evo as is. When you start chasing HP, the reliability factor goes down. You have a good balanced set up. Congrats on the marriage.

Coming up for my first year with my Evo X and I'm absolutely in love with it also. It has its qwerks but love it! I really need those tail lights seen so much of them they're awesome. Need to change out the stock exhaust too she's too quiet right now. Loving what you've done with Yuki (Y).

Hopefully you moved onto another fun ride. Yeah they’re a blast to drive. With the good market for Xs right now I’ve been considering selling. My ‘15 GSR flexfuel only has 22k miles, I wouldn’t be mad if I got $38k for it 😅

Your garage is very well organized, , I noticed some oil on the floor. I would recommend painting the floor with a grey non skid like I did with my garage , it will complete the look !

Congrats, I just got my car back finally since July 31st, cause the tech didn't tighten the oil drain plug, so I was waiting for a brand new motor.
After owning my evo x for 11 months basically almost a year it's been so much fun and she's an expensive one 🤣🤣 still love it even though all my money goes to it

Semi-Similar path too. Heated seats, Work emotions, ohlins, no rush to install flex fuel.

@Itskatkam Love the Evo!!!😍 Cleaann!🤩 Leave her as is. Attempting to run up hp could potentially lead to reliability/longevity issues. Those are concerns and worries you don’t want when you already love your car! Plus, that’s why we have our supersports! Ridiculously fast and fun! ⛽️🏍💨
My 02’ mustang isn’t as powerful as I’d like. But more fast and fun than any new economy car.😈
Don't ever sell your evo, They will keep going up in next few years. The gear box kinda sucks but its bulletproof. It can handle 600 to 700 hp with just upgraded clutch/flywheel. I love my evii, never will sell her.
how's the reliability like? and are maintenance expensive?
@@shiftautomotive854 Evo vs Sti. Evos run fine on mild to basic bolt on tunes. Just been working more on letting the car cool down before shutting it off after a cruise. Had to put on new tires as off 104 000km and got the car realigned. All fluids flushed last season and just needed a battery too. I might need to get new front brakes before 120 000km and maybe a new clutch and flywheel but shes been solid

To fix your gear ratio. Get a 4.30 final drive. Just got my trans rebuilt from shep and did the 4.30 final drive you'll love it. 🚀💯
How much did the rebuild cost ya if you don’t mind.
Going to check one out ,wouldn’t daily it but what would you guys recommend to upgrade or fix first or to look out for when buying it , also thinking of buying a cheap daily like a civic or Toyota

More evo videos!!!!!!!!!! lol. You have the same gripes I do with the evo x. No place to put your arms and no 6th gear. I believe mitsubishi did that because the gsr has always been a 5 speed, so to keep with tradition, give it a 5speed trans and also, from what I hear, the 5speed trans holds power better. Also, more bike content lol!!!!!!!!. Take care and love your content
My brother owned one for a couple years and couldnt handle the low gearing. Freeway speed around 70mph and was overrevving. He thought it was so low geared to keep up with the STI.
Front Tie Down Splitter Would Be Dope ! Also , & ETS Branded Or Painted On Radiator . (Just 4 The Aesthetics) Maybe Even Your Own Created Stickers . Like A “YUKI” Sticker Across The Top Of Your Front Or Rear Windshield Would Be Kinda Cool In My Opinion . But Whatever You Do , You Can Hardly Do Wrong ! Great Vid , New Sub Here ! 😌

I own a 2010 Lancer and I love it. My dream car is an EVO X GSR. Definitely want to get one but the prices now, uhh. Especially in Europe. Also, I want an EVO fan wife. :3 😍
