For the dust its actually fairly simple to take the entire thing apart, the screen is a cover that comes right off and you can just use a can of air or microfiber cloth to clean it every once in a while.

I have one question related to the rare camera: My car is a Lancer 2016 US/Canada version, Is the location of the backward light harness as well as the wire colour the same as your EVO X? I got a multimeter with me, when the backward light is on, what is the voltage between the "white" and the "Black" wire in the backward light harness? Maybe I can check it myself before installation. You connected the reverse signal in the front. But where did you connect the one in the back? Do you connect the red power cable together with the reverse signal cable in the back? I'm only asking because you only mentioned the one in front but not the one in the back and I want to put a reverse camera on my lancer. I just want to be sure 😅
Do you have the Rockford Fosgate audio? if I did have the Rockford fosgate audio system, if i select the SYGAV without the Fosgate audio system will it cause problems?
How good is the fit? I read a lot of reviews of other frames and many report significant gaps especially at the top. Thanks for the video, I will come back a lot :D, I just purchased a Lancer and am currently figuring out how to upgrade it a bit.

That’s good to know. I’m not really technically inclined but I heard that you need some kind of connection to the CANBUS (at least that’s what I’ve been told). How did you make that connection? Does the unit come with the CANBUS wiring? Can you post a video about it? My apology for the stupid questions and appreciate any inputs and patience. Thanks!
Went with the exact set up and with back up camera. Installed the stereo and it works great. However when I installed the back up camera stereo stays stuck displaying back up camera. Followed all steps exactly how you did it. What am I doing wrong?
Probably the power on to the camera is always on, you want to make sure its engaged only in reverse. Check your camera and how its connected to the reverse light

The only reason I dont buy one of those sygavs is the problem you mentioned with dust and moisture going into the display. Maybe the Dasaita ones have a better quality?

hey mine has a 2 white color reverse light on lancer one is bigger wire and the other one is a bit small , whice one is the reverse light?

Maybe an audio delay but it has an equalizer and it actually sounds better than stock
