I was a 13 year old kid in Seattle. Probably one of the best years of my life. I’ll never forget being there at quest field when Sherman made that play, I’ll never forget the superbowl parade. I don’t know how much nostalgia you’re supposed to experience when you’re only 23. But this feels like forever ago. Go Hawks!

That whole defense was cracked bro, you had hitner, Justin smith, Alcon smith, etc. the whole defense was nuts
As a Seahawks fan that duo was a large part of the reason I dreaded seeing the Niners twice a year. That was legitimately one of the best linebacker duos ever. Patrick Willis, despite playing for a rival, remains one of my favorite linebackers of all time. Vernon Davis is another Niner I always liked too.

Willis was ridiculous, shame he had a short career Bowman was pretty sick too.
The bears had a top 3 offense in 2013 (wtf,) but “blitz coming, rodgers gets out….. COBB! Touchdown, Randal Cobb!” Will live in my head forever. Imagine simultaneously getting kicked out of the playoffs by your greatest rival while also letting them in because of one of the most miraculous plays in NFL history
Your defense, especially stopping the run was just awful that year. They were an auto start for any RB.
Imagine repeating that same play against that same team 3 years later
That one play where the Bears thought the play was blown dead, and then Rodgers tells his receiver to run to the end zone with the defense completely distracted...🤦♂
I still have not recovered from that play…Chris Conte getting stuff armed into oblivion by Vance McDonald did make me happy tho
Our defense was awful that year we allowed 20 pts every single game. Conte was miserable tho
My favorite football season ever. Yes, I am a Seattle fan. In the offseason, we just *knew* this was going to be a big year and our expectations were to win it all. And when Harvin ran that kick back, it felt so amazing. Nothing like that relaxing feeling when your team is blowing out someone in the super bowl. 2012 through a certain pass in the following Super Bowl was some of the most fun football I ever watched.
Honestly I'm a patriots fan first and niners fan second and I STILL think this was undeniably one of the best most memorable seasons of the 2010s. 2011 as well

I was only 8 when I started watching the nfl. This was the first season I watched and I chose to be a Seahawks fan because they were the best team. I was only 8 so I didn’t know that was considered being a bandwagon lol. But in our generation, marshawn lynch was the most popular player (along with Odell Beckham). Everyone wanted to either go beast mode or do one handed catches. I’m still a Seahawks fan to this day, but I do miss those days

God damn, it's crazy how hearing these football highlights from 2010 brings me back. I'm 30 now, but watching this brings me back vivid memories of when I was 20. I remember playing madden 25 in my small ass room, with the new physics engine! I remember my life when tebo was the latest hype. I remember getting my first legal drinks Yardhouse. So nuts. Doesn't feel like 10 years ago

I refuse to believe 2013 was 10 years ago.
2013 is a season that I have a lot of fond memories of as an Eagles fan - specifically remember our Snow Bowl against Detroit (that was such a great game!) and Foles’ 27-2 TD to interception ratio. Honestly thought that was the year that Chip Kelly would start his era of success with the Birds but it eventually went all downhill from there.
Warned all my eagle fan friends that college antics have a short shelf life in the NFL. Not to mention he disassembled a good roster when they gave him cart blanche. They didn't take much time turning around the damage he did though, & how ironic is it that Mariota's on the squad now?

Same boat here. I was genuinely excited about Chip's offense, not knowing that it was going to peak that season lol Foles making the Pro Bowl after initially being a backup and that probably being LeSean's best season with us were special memories.
Luckily, it wasn't the last time we'd see Foles do special things as a backup.
Peyton Mannings 2013 season still blows my mind.
A pretty darn good year that unfortunately had a bad finish.
Though credit Denver for scoring the most points in history up to that time, and having five players with ten touchdowns from scrimmage, and six with 700 or more yards from scrimmage.
And with a defense that provided only 26 turnovers.
Seahawks fan, and I’d call that a very good season.
An underrated part about the Broncos season was how they so many games they won while being on the best division in football at time, every week Peyton was throwing for 350+ and 3 touchdowns, it was crazy.

This is one of if not my favorite seasons as a Chargers fan. They barely made the playoffs after winning 4 straight games to end the year, which included beating the Broncos on the road. Good memories⚡
As a Raven fan, 2013 was that season I like to forget. I was a Raven fan since 2008 and it was the first time I experienced my team missing the playoffs.
As a Seahawks fan this is one of my favorite seasons of course!

Born in 2000 in Central Valley California.. the niners where my life from 2006-now.. we sucked when I was getting into football and then harbaugh changed it all. The chills my whole body got when this episode opened with the farewell candlestick game is almost like nothing I’ve ever felt. I will tell my kids about that game the way my dad tells me about the catch game

As a cowboys fan I remember that regular season taking years off my life, we went into the season with expectations but Romo got hurt twice and we had to watch Weeden and Cassel ball and somehow every game was a one score loss.

Texans had so much hope that year. 2012 was the Texans best year in franchise history. Even up to today.

That was my high school graduation year, so much has changed. I find it crazy that when I moved from Princeton (a small town in southwestern Indiana) to Indianapolis 5 years ago I actually have run into much less Patriots haters (since of course it’s Colts territory/Patriot hater nation here) than when I lived farther from Indy. I do remember the hatred back then being quite strong but got at its peak around 2016-2018, so I’ve heard all of the negativity from being a Patriots fan and Lakers for basketball, not nearly as many Laker haters in Indiana though than Patriot ones

That game Julio got hurt and the Falcons defense making rookie Geno Smith look like Joe Montana was the effective end of the season for Atlanta in 2013 😢
I was at the Super Bowl that year only because I lived 90 minutes away in NJ. It was the best chance I was ever going to have at attending one, even if I was a neutral fan. I remember how cold it was that night lol. After Harvin took that kickoff back for a TD I went in the clubhouse area and watched most of the second half in the warmth. It was definitely a cool one, but now that I'm an adult, the goal is to got the SB when the Giants make it next. And that could be a long time from now.....
Wait huh? I remember specfically there was a warm front that day. I lived in Rockland County NY just 30 mins from Metlife and the weather was weird.
It was unusually warmish that weekend and the week afterwards was super cold. We all questioned if they were manipulating with the weather.
By the time is got dark it was colder. I'm not saying it was 20 degrees but it was cold enough.@@ainnocent

4:43 ncaa '14 on 360 is the most fun football game Ive ever played. I still play it today now and then. Used discs are rare and expensive on ebay, so I cant be alone in this. :D

Defense wins championships
Chiefs going from 2-14 the season prior, and start 8-0 when they were predicted 7.5 wins is so severely underrated
I was at that last Candlestick game, when I tell you my ears have never heard anything louder when Bowman housed that pick, it would be an understatement. What a night and so glad I got to experience it. Bang Bang Niner Gang 🤘🏽
That Houston Texans season made me sad because it was the first real season I really started watching😢

Watching the Legion of Boom week in, week out, was truly a gift. I remember the power had gone out at my retail store and someone rigged one of the display iPads to play radio and the entire store was huddled around this shitty sounding 2013 iPad, listening to the NFC Championship with bated breath. I got home from work, sprinted to the TV, and the first play I got to see was the tip. 2013 was such a fun season, it really felt like the NFC Championship was the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl was the gravy on the season, our dessert

This was the first year I really started following football, learning all of the fundamentals of the game and memorising every team in the league. 2013 was a year I would never forget, and it was one that got me on the LOB bandwagon. Coming from an Eagles fan.

10 years. At the start of the 2013 season I was a senior in high school, going thru A LOT. I had been a fan of the niners since I first saw them beat the raiders in OT in 02 when I was 7 (I had known of football before this but this was the first football game I watched in its entirety). After witnessing all those shitty & rocky years, for the first time in my life time I see them in the post season in 2011, 2012, & 2013. Now I'm 27 & soon to be 28, this the best I've seen the niners be since I became a fan. This GOTTA be our year

Super Bowl 48 was the first game i ever watched as a kid. I've been a football fan ever since.
Luke Kuechly dominated the league in 2013. That regular season game against the 49ers was, for me, the hardest and most violent hitting game of the 13' regular season. That's saying something considering they're not divisional opponents, and typically when a team travels cross country, (Charlotte, NC to San Francisco, CA) the time zone change and jetlag effect the visiting team's play to some degree. Mike Tolbert trucking Eric Reed on a check down set the tone of the game.
This is me first time seeing a breakdown this thorough. Easiest sub I’ve found on UA-cam!!! Keep it up
As a 9er fan I never really liked Kap, but he would've been the greatest QB of all time if he played the Packers every week. It was a lot of fun to watch him run with his crazy long strides vs the pack. And if my memory serves, he did the exact same thing to them in week 1 the next season. RIP forcing the ball to Crabtree on that last pass in the NFCCG.

Man I remember watching that Super Bowl and laughing. As a browns fan I had never seen something so satisfying.
Percy Harvin's second half kick return is the best special teams play in Super Bowl history in my mind. Legendary.
I loved that Superbowl so much. A lot of casuals were claiming this was Peytons game and he will wreck that Seattle defense. After the halftime I knew they broke that team. You could hear some announcers bummed that their bets were lost. Amazing game.
As one sided as any Super Bowl since (though there’s obviously bigger blowouts further back).
Peyton would play the Seahawks one more time the following year and his team lost too.
As Pats fan i remember 10 years ago for one game. The unicorns show ponies wheres the beef game when Saints were up on Pats. had epic finish where undrafted rookie Kenbrell Thompkins scored game winning touchdown where Pats radio color commentator and former Pats qb in the 90s Scott Zolak went nuts.
2013 was the first full season i watched, before i only played Madden and that was my knowledge of the NFL. 2013 season holds a special spot in my heart for that reason and since then I've been a Packers fan.
